Stampin’ Up! Dino Days Wiper Card for Oakley!

Hey there! Earlier this month we went to Oakley's 6th birthday pool party and I made this wiper card to go with his gift. I used the Dino Days Bundle of stamps and dies, Dinoroar Designer Series Paper, and some sentiments from Perennial Birthday:

The "wiper" part of the card (the dinosaur) pops up when the card is opened!

He folds down inside when you close the card to put it in the envelope. This card is not hard to make, the "wiper" just needs folded and placed in the right spot so it can fold down and pop up!

I love this sentiment!

The stamps to make the palm tree are also from Dino Days.

This card was, of course, from his PaPa and me, so I crossed out "I" and added "we"!

This card is another we'll be making at my August Fun Fold Class on the 17th. I will post the directions after the class is over as I don't have them written just yet! Finishing up wedding preparations this week! Rehearsal dinner favors, hair, pedicure, manicure; all of those fun girly things!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day October 14th!

Hey there! It's time again for Sunday Swap Day! Today I have a great collection of Holiday Catalog Christmas swaps to share!

First, Rhonda Bassler has taken a unique approach to create this Beautiful Baubles card by combining both Whisper White and Very Vanilla card stock. She has achieved an elegant look, which includes the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Finally, Lorraine Duran combined Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper with Dashing Deer for a warm, homespun look!

The flourished detail of the deer image is simply gorgeous! She accented the nose with a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

This card has a surprise flap, revealing a Dashing Deer sentiment!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Soiree Double Flap-Fold!

Hey there! Today I'm presenting at the Stampin' Up! OnStage in Atlanta! I'm nervous, excited, and a bit awed that I've been given the opportunity to share what I love with such a large group of fellow demos!

I'll share my presentation creations soon, but today I'm sharing another Sweet Soiree Class card. With multiple layers and folds, this card looks complicated but isn't. I used two prints from Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper, Cake Soiree stamps, and the Double Flap Fun Fold:

I heat-embossed with gold and then used a sponge dauber to add first Powder Pink and then Flirty Flamingo ink to the flowers. I colored the leaves with an Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.

The Double Flap-Fold is perfect for when you need a lot of room for your message or as a group card from the gang!

The inside DSP layers are the flip side of the print on the front.

Stampin’ Up! Woodland Season Like Christmas!

Hey there! We experienced another fantastic day at the Stampin' Up! OnStage Live in Salt Lake City yesterday. I can hardly wait to share everything with you! You won't have to wait long, the curfew will be lifted next week!

While my head has been swimming in Spring with the Occasions Catalog, I have another Christmas card to share with you today. I created this card for a hostess' Stamp-a-Stack. She wanted to learn how to stamp on the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so the image appears to be behind the trees. I created this card with the Woodland Folder and the Season Like Christmas set.

I stamped on the negative side of the Woodland folder with a Season Like Christmas tree with Tranquil Tide ink before inserting the white layer and cranking through the Big Shot.

I used a sponge dauber to add Smoky Slate ink to the trunks and branches.

I heat-embossed a Merry Mistletoe greeting with white Stampin' Emboss Powder onto a strip of Tranquil Tide card stock. I cut one end into banner tips before adhering to the card front with dimensionals.

I cut two snowflakes with a four-point Snowflake Sentiment thinlet, then glue-dotted then together to create an 8-point Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer snowflake. I added a single rhinestone to the center.

Inside I stamped another Season Like Christmas phrase with Tranquil Tide ink, sponged the edges with Smoky Slate ink, and then stamped a couple more trees, stamping the lighter one without re-inking the image.
