Stampin’ Up! Hues of Happiness Abounds!

Hey there! Today I have a girly birthday card created with the Happiness Abounds bundle and the Hues of Happiness Designer Paper!

I started with a Coastal Cabana card base, then added a Basic White layer stamped with the Happiness Abound birthday greeting, cut with a Blooming Happiness die, and then embossed with the Painted Posies 3D embossing folder!

I then added flowers and leaves cut from the sheet of Hues of Happiness Designer Paper that coordinates with the Blooming Happiness dies! So easy to cut out. I finished the card front with White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon and a few Iridescent Rhinestones.

Inside I stamped another Happiness Abounds sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink. I added a few more partial blooms rescued from the edge of the Hues of Happiness designer paper sheet. My final addition was a tiny bloom and leaf hand-cut from the same sheet of Hues of Happiness paper and added with a tiny dot of liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug!

Hey there! Today I want to share this fun card with you that I created for a swap I participated in last month for J&J Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration products. My card today uses the Hello Ladybug Bundle and Flowering Fields Designer Paper from the J&J Mini!

After stamping the ladybug wings with Poppy Parade ink on Basic White, I stamped the dots with Tuxedo Black Memento and then added Clear Wink of Stella to give them some shine. You can stamp the ladybug body with black ink, but I saved time by punching the body from Basic Black card stock.

I combined two phrases from Hello Ladybug , "hello" and "my friend" on the same stamp block to create the greeting, and added a ribbon bow with my favorite Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon. I added Matte Black Dots to the Poppy Parade-stamped flowers, also from Hello Ladybug. The Matte Black Dots really pop against this color palette of Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, Basic White, and Basic Black!

Inside I stamped another Hello Ladybug sentiment, as well as more Poppy Parade blooms.

I used Black Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the wings to the ladybug body, as well as to adhere the body to the card. These dimensionals come in a combo back of both regular-size and mini dimensionals. Black dimensionals are less noticeable with you are using darker card stocks.

This card was really easy and fun to make! I didn't even get tired of making the 21 I needed for my swap!

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Center Easel-fold!

Hey there! Today's card is another birthday card I created for another son who had a birthday in November. I used the same center easel-fold I used previously, but I used an Early Espresso/Very Vanilla color combo and the Biggest Wish photopolymer stamp set.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiments from Biggest Wish with Early Espresso ink several times (I think at least 4 times for each word). I stamped it on the Cork Specialty paper that is retiring from the Holiday Mini Catalog but has not yet sold out (at least it hadn't when I checked before writing this blog post). I added a Bumblebee Trinket with a Mini Glue Dot for an added special touch.

I stamped the largest circle image from Watercolor Shapes with Crumb Cake ink on the Very Vanilla inside layer before stamping a sentiment from Sunny Sentiments. I added a 1/2" wide strip of Early Espresso card stock with a row of Stampin' Dimensionals to create the "easel stop".

Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts & Pretty Flowers!

Hey there! Today I have a pair of cards to share with you created with the retiring Happy Thoughts stamp set and the new Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.

After embossing Basic White with the Pretty Flowers folder I colored the raised images with Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, and Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends. I used the bullet end, not the brush tip, to color to have better control of how much ink flowed onto the paper.

For this version I added a piece of Evening Evergreen designer paper, Evening Evergreen 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon, and a greeting stamped with Polished Pink ink.

Inside:

My second version is very similar, but I embossed Evening Evergreen card stock for the bottom front layer.

I stamped the same greeting with Evening Evergreen ink and punched with the Double Oval punch.

I embossed the envelope flap with the same Pretty Flowers folder.

Stampin’ Up! Tool Focus!

My favorite tool(s) are the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and dies! I am addicted to them, especially the Stitched Greenery Die right now!
