Stampers Dozen Blog Hop October Welcome Fall Y’all!

Hey there! Fall is finally here in Southern Illinois. My grandkids were still swimming just last week, but it's finally cooled down around here, so it's starting to look and feel like fall!

For my hop creation I used the All Around Wreath Dies to make this Fall wreath ornament. I used the same All-Around Wreath Dies to cut the Crumb Cake and Terracotta Tile wreaths as I used for the cardinal wreath HERE and the banner wreath HERE, then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.

I colored Pearl Basic Jewels with a Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends Marker, then used the Cajun Craze Linen Thread from the Come To Gather Ribbon Combo Pack.

I stamped the "Season of Thanks" on a Crumb Cake scrap before cutting with a Gathered Leaves die. Sponging around the edges gave it more depth and definition.

Now it's time to continue on the hop to see what the rest of the Stampers Dozen have created with the Fall theme. Click on any of the names in the list!

Hey there! Our June theme is welcoming the New Stampin' Up! Catalog. You'll find lots of inspiration when you take our hop!

I combined the new Daisy Lane Bundle with the Stitched Lace Dies for my creation:

I love this new In Color Rococo Rose! Stampin' Up! has such a great coordination, I was able to use ink, card stock, and designer paper all on the same card. I used my new Stitched Lace Dies to create the lacy background.

When searching for a gem to put in the center of the daisy, I found the Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems are a great match!

I embossed a 1/4" wide strip of Rococo Rose for my faux ribbon.

Heat embossed the greeting with white powder.

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop May 2019 Saying Goodbye to Retiring Products!

Hey there! It's time for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop!

Our May theme is "Saying Goodbye to Retiring Products". I used "A Little Wild" stamps with matching Little Loves Framelits today. Both are retiring on June 3rd.

My color palette: Early Espresso and Crumb Cake, perfect for this little bear cub!

The die cuts a perfect tag, complete with keyhole to tie a bit of Burlap ribbon thread!

I added direct-to-inkpad sponging along the edges for the distressed look.

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop April 2019 Spring Color Challenge!

Hey there! Welcome to the April Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! We're using this color combo today:

Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst are retiring, so order SOON. The Retiring List posts April 15th!

I used the Gatefold Blossoms Dies and Bouquet Blooms to create three cards with the color challenge. This bundle is retiring, but don't wait until the last minute to order. The dies could sell out soon!

I started with a Lemon Lime Twist 8 1/2" x 5" card base to get two from each 8 1/2" x 11" piece. Download my tutorial from this post to get the full directions.

Gatefold Blossoms includes dies to cut out all of these beautiful blossoms!

Bouquet Blooms even includes this "sunburst" image, as well as all of the words I used on these cards.

Whisper White base:

I colored the leaves with a Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Write Marker.

I added strips of Lemon Lime Twist 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to this one. The stripes is the flip side of the polka-dots.

Stamping direct-to-paper is a fun look!

Berry Burst (retiring) and Lemon Lime Twist (also retiring) are soooo pretty!

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop March 2019 Sale-a-bration Coordination!

Hey there! Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop!

Our theme for March is Sale-a-bration Coordination, so I the Painted Seasons Designer Paper to make a Christmas card!

I stamped "WISHES" from More Than Words with Call Me Clover on Crumb Cake, rubbed my embossing buddy to dry the ink, stamped "Christmas" with Versamark, sprinkled Copper embossing powder, then heated with my Heat Tool.

I heat embossed the Painted Seasons pine cone with Copper powder, then cut with a Four Seasons Framelit. Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack ribbon makes an adorable tiny bow!

I decided to leave the inside blank, except for the copper pine cone corners.
