Stampin’ Up! Woodland Season Like Christmas!

Stampin’ Up! Woodland Season Like Christmas!

Hey there! We experienced another fantastic day at the Stampin' Up! OnStage Live in Salt Lake City yesterday. I can hardly wait to share everything with you!  You won't have to wait long, the curfew will be lifted next week!

While my head has been swimming in Spring with the Occasions Catalog, I have another Christmas card to share with you today. I created this card for a hostess' Stamp-a-Stack. She wanted to learn how to stamp on the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so the image appears to be behind the trees. I created this card with the Woodland Folder and the Season Like Christmas set.

Stampin_up_woodland_season_like_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

I stamped on the negative side of the Woodland folder with a Season Like Christmas tree with Tranquil Tide ink before inserting the white layer and cranking through the Big Shot.

Stampin_up_woodland_season_like_christmas_carolpaynestamps3

I used a sponge dauber to add Smoky Slate ink to the trunks and branches.

Stampin_up_woodland_season_like_christmas_carolpaynestamps2

I heat-embossed a Merry Mistletoe greeting with white Stampin' Emboss Powder onto a strip of Tranquil Tide card stock. I cut one end into banner tips before  adhering to the card front with dimensionals.

Stampin_up_woodland_season_like_christmas_carolpaynestamps4

I cut two snowflakes with a four-point Snowflake Sentiment thinlet, then glue-dotted then together to create an 8-point Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer snowflake. I added a single rhinestone to the center.

Stampin_up_woodland_season_like_christmas_carolpaynestamps5

Inside I stamped another Season Like Christmas phrase with Tranquil Tide ink,  sponged the edges with Smoky Slate ink, and then stamped a couple more trees, stamping the lighter one without re-inking the image.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day This Little Piggy!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day This Little Piggy!

Hey there! Once again it's time for Sunday Swap Day! yay! Today all of the swaps I am sharing are made with the new This Little Piggy stamp set!

First, Loretta Clem used an image from the Eastern Beauty stamp set to create her Lemon Lime Twist background. The Scallop Tag Topper Punch and some Crushed Curry 3.8" Mini-Chevron Ribbon complement the Blushing Bride-markered piggy!

Stampin_up_this_little_piggy_carolpaynestamps6

Next, the anonymous creator of this little beauty used the Sparkle embossing folder, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Squares Framelits, and Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon in addition to the happy little piggy!

Stampin_up_this_little_piggy_carolpaynestamps2

BJ Peters is the creator of this Brick Wall-embossed piggy!

Stampin_up_this_little_piggy_carolpaynestamps1
Angie Juda used the Brick Wall folder and Wood Textures Designer Paper for her thankful creation.

Obviously Jeannette Swain believed she could!

Stampin_up_this_little_piggy_carolpaynestamps4

Stampin’ Up! International Blog Highlights: Babies!

18814481_1363288057057559_2359774630524859180_o

Hey there! The theme this month is babies, and A Little Wild, and the matching (and bundled) Little Loves Framelits were perfect to create a trio of fun baby bear-themed projects!

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps1

For my first project I used the Wood Textures Designer Paper to achieve a knot-hole look for the baby bear to peek out!

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps2

I cut the hole with a Layering Ovals Framelit, and the bumblebees with a Little Loves framelit, cutting three bees at the same time!

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps3

A Little Wild greeeting:

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps4

Bees & a hive!

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps5

Inside:

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps6

The bundle includes the front and back of the bear to stamp as well as a framelit to cut it out.

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps7

I used the Scallop Tag Topper punch to create a tag. Birthday Memories Designer Paper created a great background. The ribbon is Gold 1/4" Natural Trim.

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps8

After stamping and cutting  the front and the back of the baby bear, all I had to do was fold to create a tag!

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps9

I stamped and white heat-embossed the bear and the greeting. I stamped another greeting on the tag with Soft Suede before embossing with the Hexagons Dynamic Folder.

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps11

The inside sentiment is from a new favorite set, Special Celebrations.

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps12

My final project is a favor I created with the Wood Crate Framelits, the Hardwood Background, the new Starburst punch, and a baby bear tag!

Stampin_up_a_little_wild_carolpaynestamps14

The "to:" and "from:" are included in the A Little Wild set, making it extremely versatile for gift tags as well as cards, favors, and invitations.

Now here's the thing. With this blog post I'm in a contest. I would appreciate if you would vote for my projects by clicking this link and voting for me:http://bit.ly/KyliesJuneHighlightsVoteforMeHere

If I'm a top ten finalist I get to participate in a special blog hop with Kylie!

Stampin’ Up! Thailand Achiever’s February Blog Hop!

14207747_1112855362100831_7710730354996407642_o

Hey there! This month our theme is the "Sale-a-Bration 2nd Release". Starting today, you can choose from three NEW Sale-a-bration items when you place your qualifying order! ($50 before shipping and tax in the U.S.)

You may just be starting the hop here at my blog – Carol Payne or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move from blog to blog so you see all the projects!
Because I focused on my Chicks & Chocolate Open House the past couple of weeks, I only received my pre-order of 2nd Release SAB products just before my event. Immediately after my event we had to go out-of-town for a couple of days, so I've had zero time to create with the new products.
I do, however, have this gorgeous card I plan to offer as part of my Online Rewards cards in March using the Avant Garden Sale-a-bration set:
Stampin_up_avant_garden_trio_carolpaynestamps2
I used the same color combo we used for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop this month:
I stamped the Watermelon Wonder blooms twice without re-inking (called "generational stamping") on Serene Scenery Designer Paper. I used the Window Shopping stamp set for the greeting stamped with Night of Navy ink. I added a piece of an 2015-2017 In Color Doily in Mint Macaron.

Inside sentiment from Avant Garden:

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Cookie Cutter Halloween!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Cookie Cutter Halloween!

Hey there! All of today's cards have been created with the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.

First, Mary Anne Grimmer used Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape, Halloween Night Enamel Dots, and the "BOO!" from Suite Seasons to create the back ground for her adorable card. She cut background squares of Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Perfect Plum using a Layering Square Framelit.

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_halloween_carolpaynestamps1

Each little Halloween guy, punched with the Cookie-Cutter Builder Punch, has his own special accent! Mr. Skeleton has a tiny heart punched from Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper:

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_halloween_carolpaynestamps2

Mr. Mummy is gently accented with Smoky Slate ink applied with a Blender Pen:

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_halloween_carolpaynestamps3

And Count Dracula is expertly colored with Stampin' Write Markers!

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_halloween_carolpaynestamps4

Next, Julie Skotzke also used a Suite Seasons sentiment, accented with a Halloween Night Enamel Dot and threads pulled from Halloween Night Baker's Twine. Mr. Skelly's bow tie is punched from Pumpkin Pie Glimmer!

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_halloween_carolpaynestamps5

Carolyn DelGrosso sponged Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Perfect Plum ink to coordinate with the colors in the Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape. The "happy halloween" sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes was punched with the Duet Banner Punch.

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_halloween_carolpaynestamps8

Finally, Crystal Brown used my favorite, Mr. Scarecrow, for her Thanksgiving-ish card. She used the Woodland Textured Impressions folder to emboss the Delightful Dijon background, cut Warmth & Cheer Designer Paper with a Layering Circle Framelit, and stamped a Suite Seasons sentiment.

Stampin_up_cookie_cutter_halloween_carolpaynestamps10

Mr Scary is heat-embossed with Gold Powder, then lightly colored with ink from the inkpad lid and a Blender Pen. Gold Metallic Thread adds a subtle gleam.
