Stampin’ Up! New Catalog Sneak Peek Sweet Songbirds!

Stampin’ Up! New Catalog Sneak Peek Sweet Songbirds!

Hey there! The 2022-2023 New Annual Catalog goes live just two weeks and one day from now, so I decided to give you a little sneak peek of one of the most adorable new bundles, as well as a couple of the new In Colors!

I used the Sweet Songbirds bundle of stamps/punch with Parakeet Party and Orchid Oasis to create this cute card! These products and more will be available to order beginning on May 3rd!

Stampin_up_sweet_songbirds_carolpaynestamps1

I stamped the bird with Orchid Oasis in on Basic White card stock then punched with the Songbird Builder Punch. I stamped the eyes and feet with an image from the Sweet Songbirds set, and punched the wing from new 2022-2-24 In Color Designer Series Paper. The music notes, also stamped with Orchid Oasis, are from Sweet Songbirds. The tiny bird with musical notes, is found in the Peekaboo Farm set. I stamped with Orchid Oasis, darkened the eye and wing with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, then colored with a new Orchid Oasis Stampin' Blend. The birdies sit on a branch and leaves from Sweet Songbirds stamped with Crumb Cake and new Parakeet Party ink.

Stampin_up_sweet_songbirds_carolpaynestamps2

I embossed the Parakeet Party background layer with the returning Musical Notes 3D embossing folder.

Stampin_up_sweet_songbirds_carolpaynestamps3

I also added a 1/2" x 5 1/4" strip of Parakeet Party 6" x 6" Ombre Glimmer Paper for a bit of sparkle!

Inside images are all from Sweet Songbirds.

Stampin’ Up! What is the Stamparatus?

Stampin’ Up! What is the Stamparatus?

Hey there! Yesterday there was a big announcement from Stampin' Up! about a new stamping tool you can pre-order NOW!

11-16-17_header_stamparatus_na

It’s big news when something breaks the mold and changes everything. The Stamparatus will change the way you stamp, and before long, you’ll wonder how you crafted without it!

Why do YOU need one? You’ll fall in love with stamping all over again when you learn everything you can do with it!

  • Make multiples with ease
  • Consistently stamp crisp, clean images
  • If you want a darker impression, apply more ink and restamp—no need to start over
  • Make fewer mistakes, saving time and money
  • Easily create 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step stamped images using reversible plates
  • Experience new and specialized stamping techniques with adjustable stamping plates and precision placement

Here are the product details!

  • Compatible with Stampin’ Up!’s red rubber (clear, but not wood-mount) and photopolymer stamp
  • Foam mat to use with photopolymer stamps
  • Rulers and gridlines for quick measuring
  • 2 open sides so you can stamp on larger paper
  • 2 reversible plates: a total of 4 surfaces to work with
  • 2 magnets to hold the paper in place
  • Magnet storage areas (on the bottom of the tool)
  • Non-skid “feet” to help keep the Stamparatus from moving while you are stamping.
  • Retail Price–$49.00 US

Check out this video from Stampin' Up! that will give you a good look at the Stamparatus and what it can do!

Contact me TODAY to reserve your Stamparatus! I can reserve one for you during the November 16-30, 2017 reservation window with delivery on or around February 1, 2018. This is a new product with a new way to begin to determine the supply need. This initial preorder offering is "while supplies last". This tool will be offered in later publications, but you will want to have me reserve one for you NOW so you can start playing and using it as as it ships in February 2018!

YOU PAY NO MONEY NOW, you will pay in 2018  during Sale-a-bration when you can also earn a FREE Sale-a-bration set with a $50 order!

Note: I've seen the Stamparatus in action at the Stampin' Up! OnStage Live in Salt Lake City last week and it is EVERYTHING they say it is AND MORE!

Here are more graphics to help you see what you will be getting when you reserve the Stamparatus  today!

NOTE: For some reason there is a lot of space between paragraphs and pictures in this post. Just keep scrolling to see it all!

The Stamparatus consists of:

A 7" x 7" base with a grid under clear acrylic. It is hinged on two sides only, leaving the remaining two sides open to allow you to stamp on any size paper you wish. Two clear stamping plates also have a grid on them. Clean these only with Stampin' Mist or baby wipes. Anything stronger (like alcohol) can damage the grid linesA gray foam mat is for stamping with photopolymer stamps and is removable when stamping with red rubber clear-mount images. Two STRONG bar magnets. Do not allow these magnets near each other as they can break when snapping themselves together and are really hard to pry apart.

Stamparatus_01

The hinged stamping plates are removable and reversible, allowing you to stamp with at least four different images over and over.

Stamparatus_03

The bar magnets have handy storage "cubbies" on the bottom of the Stamparatus, as well as four non-skid "feet" to help the Stampapratus to remain stationary as you stamp.

Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Paint Chip Card!

Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Paint Chip Card!

Hey there! This afternoon is the first session of my Colorful Seasons Class, so I'm sharing the 5th and final card we will be making.  I have seen several cards with this layout and set, so I combined a bit of the best to create a Crushed Curry version:

Stampin_up_colorful_seasons_smile_carolpaynestamps1
The Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack contains  Berry Burst, Old Olive, Dapper Denim, and the color I chose for my card, Crushed Curry. I used the "paint chip" print for the side panel, then built the rest of the card around it.

I embossed the white base layer with the Ruffled Dynamic Textured Impressions folder, stamped and cut out the flowers with Crushed Curry and Early Espresso, and cut the Early Espresso branch with a Seasonal Layers Thinlet.

Stampin_up_colorful_seasons_smile_carolpaynestamps3

I used the "ombre" Crushed Curry print from the pack to stamp the greeting with Early Espresso. I used a Layering Circles Framelit to cut it out, as well as the scalloped circle behind it. I pull out my neglected Delicate White Doilies to frame it all. Glitter Enamel Dots in Crushed Curry, part of the Color Theory Suite, add subtle sparkly touches. I finished the card front by adding another Adirondack chair cut from Wood Textures Designer Paper.

Stampin_up_colorful_seasons_smile_carolpaynestamps4
Inside I stamped a sentiment from Just Add Text with Early Espresso and added a 1/2" wide strip of the "paint chip" paper too.

Stampin’ Up! Hosts Rewards Stamp Set Blog Hop!

Stampin’ Up! Hosts Rewards Stamp Set Blog Hop!

Host_blog_tour_carolpaynestamps1

Hey there! Welcome to the "We (heart) Hosts blog hop! Everyone's projects are created using Host Reward Stamps from the new catalog, so you're in for some real treats!

For my card I used THREE Host Reward Stamp sets: In the City, Tranquil Tulips, and You're Delightful. I used a piece of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper as my background on a Tranquil Tide card base:

Stampin_up_tranquil_tulips_carolpaynestamps2

I cut out a vellum layer with a Lots of Labels Framelit, then embossed with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder. I accented the embossing by rubbing inside the leaves and stems with my Simply Scored Stylus. I stamped the lower tulip layer with Sweet Sugarplum ink, then stamped the top layer with Berry Burst; and yes, I did cut them both out with Paper Snips to layer together and add to the Whisper White oval with dimesnionals. I stamped the stems and leaves with Ranquil Tide ink, cutting out the leaves and adding them with liquid glue.

Stampin_up_tranquil_tulips_carolpaynestamps3

We have new sequins in the catalog, MINI sequin trims! Available in black, gold, and silver, I pulled a few black ones from the string, adhering with a tiny drop  of Fine Tip Glue.

Stampin_up_tranquil_tulips_carolpaynestamps5

I stamped the greeting from In the City with Tranquil Tide ink on vellum, then punched with the Classic Label. I applied a thin coat of liquid glue so the adhesive wouldn't show through the vellum.

Stampin_up_tranquil_tulips_carolpaynestamps4

Inside I used a sentiment from the You're Delightful Host set. and stamped the tulips directly on the layer.

Stampin_up_tranquil_tulips_carolpaynestamps6

Now it's time to continue on the hop to see all of the other inspiring creations! You know you're going to want to have a party so you can get some of these sets for free!

Here's the one caveat with these great Host sets: you have to either host a stamping party, catalog party, or place an order of your own of at least $150 to be able to "spend" you host reward credit on a Host set. But hey, I'm sure that really won't be a problem with all of the lovely new things in this catalog! Contact me if you would like to host an in-person party or catalog party. Stampin’ Up! Lovely Words!

Stampin’ Up! Lovely Words!

Hey there! During my New Catalog Open House one of my customers, Donna, decided to make her wish list into a card. With just a few extra products added to the original packet  she started with this:

Stampin_up_lovely_words_carolpaynestamps1

and then converted to this:

Stampin_up_lovely_words_carolpaynestamps1

Instead of using the"wishlist"banner, she stamped FRIEND by omitting from the phrase "LIFE IS BETTER with FRIENDS" from  Just Add Text, adding a Glitter Enamel Dot.

Stampin_up_lovely_words_carolpaynestamps2

Inside she stamped another Just Add Text  sentiment with Smoky Slate ink, then colored with a Blender Pen using ink squeezed into the ink pad lid.

Stampin_up_just_add_text_carolpaynestamps1

She added a tiny flower with the Tree Builder Punch.

Stampin_up_just_add_text_carolpaynestamps2

I had the You're Delightful Host set on the table, and she chose to stamp "P.S. THAT IS ALL"  at the bottom of the inside.

We also discovered this card will fit into a notecard-sized envelope!
