Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Meets Texture Chic!

Hey there! I'm so excited to share this card with you! I created it because our family is experiencing another rash of weddings this year, starting in February, so I need a few more wedding cards than usual! We are also starting another rash of babies, so I need to get started on some of those cards too!

My card today is created with the Country Bouquet Punch (currently unavailable to order until April) as well as the Love For You Stamp set, both found in the January/April Mini Catalog. I also used Blushing Bride, Distressed Gold 12 x 12 Specialty Paper (also unavailable to order until the week of February 27), and Texture Chic Specialty Paper. NOTE: Texture Chic Specialty Paper will be retiring at the end of April 2023, so if you want or need more of this gorgeous paper, you better order soon!

To save paper, I punched the hearts for the card front with the Country Bouquet punch out of the Distressed Gold layer I also used on the card front. The heart holes in the Distressed Gold are hidden by the layer of Texture Chic Specialty paper.

I try to always do some of my punching or die cutting from a hidden layer to save paper.

The Distressed Gold layer is 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". The Texture Chic Specialty layer is 4" x 5 1/4".

I cut the cross-hatching from Distressed Gold using a Share a Milkshake die. (I forgot to put the Share A Milkshake Dies #160395 in the list of supplies below this post, Sorry!) I heat embossed the "congratulations" from the Something Fancy stamp set with white powder, then cut with a Something Fancy Die.

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Something Fancy, cut with another Something Fancy die, then added a couple more small Distressed Gold hearts.

Stampin’ Up! Elephant Parade for a Baby Girl!

Hey there! Today I have a baby girl card to share that I created with the Elephant Parade stamp set and Gingham Cottage Designer Paper.

I based my card on one I found online, but now I can't remember who provided the inspiration. I did change a few things for my card. I stamped the little sitting elephant on a Basic White layer, then cut with a Scalloped Contours Die. I stamped the greeting, also from Elephant Parade, as well as the butterfly and the little flower sprig, all with Tuxedo Black Memento ink so I could color them with Stampin' Blends. I colored the elephant baby with a Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends, then added another layer of the same Light Smoky Slate on the wrinkles and eyebrows. I colored the inside of her ears with a Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend, but the color was too bright to coordinate with the Blushing Bride color of the Gingham Cottage Designer Paper I used on the background, so I used the Stampin' Blends Color Lifter to lighten the color. I used a Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends on her eyes and the butterfly, then accented the butterfly wings with the same Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend. Instead of lightening the color I added touches of Clear Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle and shine.

I wrapped the White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the designer paper layer, which I had adhered to a Basic White layer of the same size for stability, tying in a simple knot. I then looped more of the same ribbon around four of my fingers to create three loops and slid the loops off my fingers. I gave the gathered loops a twist before laying them over the first tied ribbon knot and then tied the ends around it all. I trimmed the ends of the ribbon and then added a glue dot under the knot to keep it in place. I then added the stamped scalloped rectangle over the ribbon with dimensionals.

I colored the flower and the leaf with the Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party Stampin' Blends, then added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the petals. I added a few Heart Pearls to the front as the finishing touch.

Inside I stamped the "Babies are a Blessing" from Charming Sentiments, as well as another butterfly and flower sprig. I added coordinating Gingham Cottage Designer Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds New Catalog Sneak Peek!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you another card I created with New Annual Catalog Sneak Peek products!

I used the Happiness Abounds Bundle that includes the Happiness Abounds stamp set and Blossoming Happiness Dies. I also used Hues of Happiness 12" x 12" Designer Paper and Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.

I stamped the flower with Melon Mambo ink, then used ink squeezed onto the lid of the ink pad to paint the bloom. I used an "empty" Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to paint the bloom, as well as the Mossy Meadow-stamped leaves. Don't ever throw out an empty Wink of Stella! You can re-use them with ink pad ink, re-inker ink, etc! I added a Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Opal Round to the center to finish it off.

I stamped the greeting with Tuxedo Black ink, but beside the Mossy Meadow card base stamped with Mossy Meadow leaves, it almost looks like Mossy Meadow too! One of my favorite pieces from the Blossoming Happiness dies is the one I used to cut the top edge of the Basic White focal image layer to look like it has been torn from a notebook!

Inside is all stamped with Happiness Abounds images.

I used the book-binding fold for this card, adding a 3/4" x 4" strip of Hues of Happiness Designer paper to the binding edge.

I also created a second card with the same colors and products, but used a Blending Brush to add the Melon Mambo ink to the bloom for a softer look.

I created a third card with another strip of the same print of Hues of Happiness designer to feature a Fresh Freesia bloom. All of the Hues of Happiness prints are in an ombre design.

Stampin’ Up! Heart & Home Daisies!

Hey there! Last weekend I attended a wedding shower for our nephew, Ryan, and his bride-to-be, Olivia, at our church. I made a card for the gift, so of course I created two cards so I had one to keep!

I used Heart & Home Designer Paper, the Medium Daisy Punch, and Celebrating You. The Misty Moonlight card stock, ink, and Stampin' Blend I used to color the Pearl Basic Jewel for the flower center are all retiring, but they matched the Misty Moonlight in the paper, so I had to use them!

After I punched two Medium Daisies from Basic White card stock and glued them together, I ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine inside the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. I finished each daisy with a pearl colored with a Light Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blend.

I stamped the greeting from Celebrating You directly on the whitewashed print from Heart & Home using Misty Moonlight ink. I punched it with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. I tied a bit of Misty Moonlight ribbon from the 1/8" Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack in the January/June Mini into a bow and adhered with a glue dot.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Celebrating You and the daisies image from Flowering Rain Boots with Misty Moonlight ink. I'm sure going to miss Misty Moonlight. It has bee one of my favorites these past two years.

Stampin’ Up! Symbols of Fortune Anniversary!

Hey there! I have a really pretty card to share with you today created with the Artistic Dies, Symbols of Fortune Specialty Designer Paper, and the Love & Happiness stamp set!

I started with a Soft Succulent base, then layered on 1" wide strips of Symbols of Fortune Specialty Paper. After I had then adhered the way I wanted (using liquid glue so I had a bit of "wiggle-room"), I then used my paper snips to trim the edges flush with the edges of the card base.

I cut the beautiful leaves from the Artistic Dies with Basic White card stock, then adhered with tiny dots of liquid glue. The row of three tiny pearls just added the perfect touch!

I added another partial strand of leaves to the lower right side, then heat-embossed the anniversary greeting from Love & Happiness with white embossing powder. Three more pearls and the card front was done!

Inside I used two more sentiments from Love & Happiness and added 1/2" wide strips of Symbols of Fortune Specialty to pull it all together.

Some of the Love & Happiness sentiments are so finely sized that a zoom is needed to be appreciated!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Timeworn Type Embossed!

Hey there! I played with my Nature's Harvest bundle some more last night, so I have two cards to share with you today!

I love the die cuts you can make with the Harvest dies! I cut Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee, and Crumb Cake ones to create these two cards, mixing up the card stocks with the dies. Fun!

I adhered three 4" x 1 5/8" strips of Harvest Meadow Designer to a 4" x 5 1/4" layer of Crumb Cake and then embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder to create the background to adhere the die cuts with tiny dots of liquid glue and Mini Glue Dots.

I used the gorgeous 3/8" Diamond Weave Ribbon to tie around the stems. I heat embossed the "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY" from Elegantly Said with gold powder before cutting out with a Harvest die. This die will fit quite an assortment of greetings from several different sets, not just Nature's Harvest!

Anniversaries are not just for marriages. I created this card to give to a couple who are celebrating a work anniversary!

For this card I simply used some of the die cuts I had created from different card stock.

I embossed the greeting on Crumb Cake this time. I used Gilded Gems on both cards for a bit of shine.

This sentiment is from Elegantly Said. I embossed the Bumblebee layer under the sentiment layer on the inside for more texture and interest.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Timeworn Type Embossed!

Hey there! I played with my Nature's Harvest bundle some more last night, so I have two cards to share with you today!

I love the die cuts you can make with the Harvest dies! I cut Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee, and Crumb Cake ones to create these two cards, mixing up the card stocks with the dies. Fun!
