Stampin’ Up! Sweet Soiree Double Flap-Fold!

Hey there! Today I'm presenting at the Stampin' Up! OnStage in Atlanta! I'm nervous, excited, and a bit awed that I've been given the opportunity to share what I love with such a large group of fellow demos!

I'll share my presentation creations soon, but today I'm sharing another Sweet Soiree Class card. With multiple layers and folds, this card looks complicated but isn't. I used two prints from Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper, Cake Soiree stamps, and the Double Flap Fun Fold:

I heat-embossed with gold and then used a sponge dauber to add first Powder Pink and then Flirty Flamingo ink to the flowers. I colored the leaves with an Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.

The Double Flap-Fold is perfect for when you need a lot of room for your message or as a group card from the gang!

The inside DSP layers are the flip side of the print on the front.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Soiree Celebrate You!

Hey there! I designed today's card for my April Sweet Soiree stamp class. I used Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Celebrate You Thinlets Dies to create this quick and easy birthday card:

Looking harder than it really is, the "celebrate" cut with a Celebrate You Thinlets Die, is adhered to the edge of the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The Celebrate You Thinlets were a Sale-a-bration item but are returning when the new Annual Catalog debuts on June 1st!

The Berry Burst card stock and 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon are also returning favorites!

The Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer paper is NOT returning. You will need to purchase this paper ASAP before it is gone, by May 31st at the latest!

To embellish the inside I simply punched a 1 1/2" circle of Sweet Soiree paper. Punching beats fussy-cutting any time!

To create the front I simply used my Paper Trimmer to cut away 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" from the top of the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Remarkable Ink Big December Blog Hop!

Hey there! I'm participating in a new blog hop this month, the Remarkable Ink Big Blog Hop!

Our theme this month is Sneak Peeks from the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs! I participated in an extra swap this month featuring the Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs. (have your received your copy yet? I send one to myself when I do the Stampin' Up! Mailing Selector, and I just received my Occasions Catalog copy yesterday. If you don't have a demonstrator to get catalogs from, just leave me a comment with your name and address and I'll pop one in the mail to you this week!)

I used the Sweet Soiree Suite of products to create my flip/flap fold card:

I used Sweet Soiree' Specialty Designer Series Paper for the top flap and embossed the bottom flap of So Saffron card base with the Layered Leaves Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The Sweet Soiree' Suite includes Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon that coordinates perfectly with the silver-embossed paper.

Inside I added floral images from the Cake Soiree' stamp set withe So Saffron, Powder Pink, and stamped-off Old Olive. I stamped the sentiment with Berry Burst.

I used the Everyday Label Punch to create the window for the greeting to peek through.

I cut the punched piece in half.

Then added it to the back of the stamped greeting label. I then added the greeting inside the window, adhering to the bottom flap with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now it's time to continue on to the next blog on the hop to see more sneaky peekies!
