Stampin’ Up! A Bouquet to Get Better!

Hey there! I try to stamp a little every day, but of course priorities take first place. But right now I have a nice little stack of projects lined up to share!

Today's project I'm mailing to a friend who just had surgery. She's a stamper, so I'm sure she will appreciate this simple card I created with Birthday Bouquet designer paper and a greeting from A Dozen Thoughts:

I started with a card base of Mossy Meadow, then added a layer of Watermelon Wonder.

The phrase "better get better" from A Dozen Thoughts is ideal for this get well card. I punched with the Washi Label Punch, then added two more Watermelon Wonder punched labels behind.

The Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace Trim I used for the bow is perfect!w It's stretchy , soft, and ties easily. I secured the knot with a glue dot. This ribbon, along with all of the other 2015/2016 In Color 1" Dotted Lace Trims, will probably be retiring on May 31st. Stampin' Up! usually brings out new embellishments to enhance the second year of In Colors in the new catalog, so if you love this ribbon as much as I do, you need to order some NOW because when it's gone, it will be GONE!

Inside I used images from "You've Got This" because they resemble the flowers on the designer paper and because the sentiment echoes the purpose of the surgery.

Changes, changes, changes. They happen all the time, don't they? Things will be changing with the coming New Annual Catalog on June 1st, and the Retiring Stamps & Accessories List will post on Monday, April 18th. I will post it here that day. Stampin’ Up! No April Fool These Projects Were Made By Martha!

Hey there! It's April, and today I'm sharing some cute projects made by Martha Swift! Martha is a dear friend in my downline under another dear friend, Angela Black!

Martha always brings some pretty projects to share to our meetings that I want to share with you!

Martha used Bohemian Designer Series Paper with the collar fold, adding a greeting from Balloon Celebration.

Inside she used sentiments and stamps from Party with Cake:

I love the way she double-punched the Bermuda Bay scallop behind the candle scallop to give it more zip!

Next, Martha used Cottage Greetings and Petite Petals for her drapery fold card:

She used the same format for a pretty thanks card:

The Curvy Corner Trio Punch adds so much to the card inside!

Finally, Martha created this for an Easter basket, but it would make a nice spring or Mother's Day banquet favor:

She used a retired punch, the Flower Medallion punch and the Petite Petals stamp set with the Petite Petals punch. Her colors are Old Olive and Pink Pirouette.

Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Ends TODAY!

Hey there! I'm late posting today because I went with my husband this morning to the dr. Mark had a few moles removed a couple of weeks ago and one came back with the dreaded "c" word. It is a melanoma, but it is "insitu", which means it doesn't seem to have penetrated below the top layer of his skin. However, since it is cancer, and it is a melanoma, they removed another area around the original removal to make sure no cells are left behind. This will also be sent to pathology and when he goes back on April 11 to have his stitches removed we should have the results. I am praying and trusting that the Lord has his hands on this situation and that we will be able to handle whatever the outcome.
