Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy and Dainty Delight for Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! Today is my older sister's 76th birthday. Happy birthday Connie! You have always been one of my favorite people! I am the "baby" of the family, but with her turning 76 and my brother going to be 82, at 63 I am starting to think that maybe I am getting old too! They say age is only a number, and although I am going to be a great-grandmother in May, I don't really "feel" old yet!

Today's swaps are all created with the Beautifully Happy Sale-a-bration stamp set or Dainty Flowers Sale-a-bration Designer Paper. It is a free choice with a $100 product order. Most of the supplies used I will list in the clickable links at the bottom of this post.

First, Cathy Seal combined the Beautifully Happy set with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folders and Something Fancy Dies:

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Cards by Martha!

Hey there! Today I have another set of three cards, this time with the Dainty Delight Bundle, all created by another lovely team member, Martha Swift!

Just like Angela, Joanne, and I, Martha created three levels of basically the same card for the Beginner, Casual, and Avid Stamper:

For her Beginner card, Martha started with a card base of Rich Razzleberry, added a layer of Blushing Bride, then a layer of the Dainty Flowers Designer Paper that she chose for her free gift when she spent $50. I love this paper! It is smooth but has been produced to look as if it is textured! She finished up for front with simple stamped greeting from the Dainty Delight stamp set, cut with a Layering Circle die. She then had us layer the greeting on a Rich Razzleberry circle cut with the next-size-larger Layering Circle die.

For her Casual Stamper card, she had us cut off 1 inch from the card front, then cut the same greeting with the same Layering Circle dies and then cut Old Olive with a Painted Labels die. We cut the daisy using a Dainty Delight die.

We also cut another daisy from Distressed Gold paper to put behind it, and the daisy center from Soft Suede.

The Avid Stamper card has more die cuts from the Dainty Delight Dies,

A flap for the greeting layer,

And a scalloped edge cut with another die from the Painted Labels dies.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July in August!

This class will be my first class I've held at my house for a long time, so I am really excited about it!

Friday, August 12, 5-9 p.m Saturday, August 13, 1-5 p.m.

You will make 5 Christmas cards (with lots of bells and whistles and matching envelopes) using Holiday Catalog products for $25 or free with an order of at least $40.There will be more than five cards to choose from. You can choose five to make (limit one of each design) or make more than five for an additional $5 each.

Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Sneak Peek: Hello Harvest!

Hey there stamping friends! Today I have a Sneak Peek for you!

I created a "bay window" fold to share, created with the new Hello Harvest Bundle in the upcoming July-December Mini Catalog that goes live on July 1st!

This card displays new products that will be available to order on July 1st: Hello Harvest Bundle of stamps and dies, Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder, as well as a Sale-a-bration freebie, Rings of Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (a free product choice when you place a $50 order, also beginning on July 1st)

After stamping and cutting the pumpkins with Cajun Craze & Soft Suede ink (the Soft Suede/white pumpkin was created by inking the Rustic Pumpkins die with Soft Suede ink before running through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine), I adhered to the Fall Leaf 3D embossing folder embossed layer with dimensionals. I added die-cut vine tendrils of Copper Foil and Champagne Rhinestones for some sparkle.

I put the inside sentiment on the backside of the card.

Card base dimensions are: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 2", 3 1/8", 5 3/8", and 6 1/2"

The floating banner image in the Hello Harvest stamp set creates a natural second layer when cut with the coordinating Rustic Pumpkins die. I colored the edge with a Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends Marker to create the look of a Cajun Craze mat behind the greeting.

Here's the same card with the Basic White banner. Which one do you like best?

I used the oak leaf image from the Hello Harvest set to coordinate the envelope flap and front with the card, stamping the leaf three times before re-inking.

Stampin’ Up! Driving By for Cohen!

Hey there! I'm back again after a pause, I know these keep happening, but I have not yet been able to figure out a way to prevent them. This time I've was swamped with prepping for classes, babysitting, and prepping cards and my house to host our family's January and February birthday celebration. I had 6 special birthday cards to create, which you will be getting a chance to see over the next few days, starting with today's card for my 14 yr-old grandson, Cohen.

I created Cohen's card with two retiring Sale-a-bration items, the Driving By stamp set and Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. I used a double z-fold so I could put the sports car on a road!

I colored the car and balloons with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers, colored around them with a Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends, cut it out, then added Shimmery Crystal Effects to the car for shine!

The clouds from the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer paper can be punched with the Cloud Punch, but since I haven't ordered the Cloud punch yet I simply cut it out with my Paper Snips.

I used a simple birthday sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set. I created the road with Basic Black card stock and a White Stampin' Chalk Marker.

Stampin’ Up! Driving By for Cohen!

I colored the car and balloons with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers, colored around them with a Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends, cut it out, then added Shimmery Crystal Effects to the car for shine!

The clouds from the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer paper can be punched with the Cloud Punch, but since I haven't ordered the Cloud punch yet I simply cut it out with my Paper Snips.

I used a simple birthday sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set. I created the road with Basic Black card stock and a White Stampin' Chalk Marker.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day January 30 – Sale-a-bration!

Hey there! Today I am back with another set of swaps, each created with at least one item from the current Sale-a-bration brochure!

First, Leslie Bumgarner used the new Cactus Cuties stamp set from the Jan/June Mini, combining it with the Hive 3D embossing folder and Friendly Hello SAB Designer paper.

This swap arrived with no name on the back, but it's a good one created with the Friendly Hello Bundle, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

Holly Sutton used Friendly Hello Designer Paper with the Hello Beautiful Bundle. (if this card looks a little bit stretched, it's because it IS. I upgraded my laptop of Windows 11 this week and now I'm sort of regretting it. NOTHING is in the same place that it was before, some features have disappeared, and I'm NOT HAPPY!)

Janice Weightman used the bright & cheery free SAB designer paper, Sunshine & Rainbows, with the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle and the Cloud Punch to make her fun card.

Cathy Miller also used the Sunshine & Rainbows free SAB paper with the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle and the Gingham embossing folder to create a "matchbook-style" card.

Laura Barto used the Special Moments SAB (free with a $100 order) stamp set with Sunshine & Rainbows SAB designer paper and the Gingham embossing folder.

Finally, Leslie Bumgarner also used Special Moments and Sunshine & Rainbows Designer paper, proving that you don't have to stick to one color palette with this Sale-a-bration favorite!
