Stampin’ Up! Number of Years for the Graduate!

Hey there! Today I have a card for you that was inspired by one of my down-line, Becky Anderson. Every month at our team meeting we swap cards with each other to have for ideas for our workshops and classes and for display. I took the card that Becky swapped and with very little extra embellishment turned it into this:

This card uses It's My Party Designer Paper, retiring bu still available from the Occasions Catalog, and the Large Numbers Framelits, which are carrying over to the NEW Annual Catalog.

The black background for the numbers is embossed with the Lucky Stars folder. The "Congrats" is from the continuing Happy Happenings set, but has been punched with the already-sold-out Washi Label Punch. The star punch used on this card is also retiring as part of the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

Inside I stamped "it's your day", a phrase from the retiring Fabulous Four set. The "let the celebration. . . " phrase is also from Happy Happenings, which will continue to be avaialble when the new catalog starts on June 1.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Petals Happy Happenings!

Hey there! I created this fun "collar fold" card for the Make & Take at my Team Meeting with Pretty Petals Designer Paper and Happy Happenings stamps:

I let the colors in the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper guide my color palette: Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Old Olive, and Basic Black.

To make the collar fold, I measured down 2 5/8" along the 5 1/4" side of the 4" x 5 1/4" layer, then cut in 2". I folded the corners down at an angle, creating a point at the corner of the layer. I used a bit of SNAIL to adhere the corners.

I added flowers and greenery cut with Botanical Builders Framelits and stamped "Happy Birthday" from Happy Happenings in the open area.

Most of the flowers and greenery was cut at the same time using the Precision Base Plate on the Magnetic Platform.

I finished the inside with a 1/2" x 5 1/4" strip of Pretty Petals on the left, the corresponding sentiment from Happy Happenings, and another pair of blooms cut with Botanical Builders framelits.

I added flowers and greenery cut with Botanical Builders Framelits and stamped "Happy Birthday" from Happy Happenings in the open area.

I stamped the flourish from Timeless Textures with Tip Top Taupe ink and stamped-off the speckles with Tip Top Taupe.

I know will use Timeless Textures a lot, but the stamp I will use most:

Doesn't that coffee stain make the perfect "C"?!

I combined the coffee stain with the "created by" copyright stamp from Creatively Yours, then hand-wrote my name with a Tip Top Taupe Stampin' Write Marker. A uniquely personal copyright! yay!

Stampin’ Up! What I Love for Sale-a-bration!

Hey there! Today I have a similar card to the one I posted HERE.

I remade it using the What I Love Sale-a-bration set.

Why did I remake it? This card is a December Online Class card. I waited until after the holidays to work on the class card packets. I have MISPLACED the 3 ROSE stamps to create the original card. I have all of the rest of the stamps in the Picture Perfect set – the hummingbird, the starfish, all the greetings. Instead of spending hours and hours hunting, I remade the card using the What I Love stamps. "hello my friend" is still the same, from the HELLO Sale-a-bration set. The missing stamps WILL turn up, they always do,even if it isn't until next year. lol!

I used the same Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon with a Very Vintage Button and Basic Black Baker's Twine.

Inside I used the same phrases from Happy Happenings.

Today's card is the second in my 3-card series for the December Online Class. I used an Occasions Catalog set, Picture Perfect, to create a 3-step-stamping card:

I stamped the first layer of the rose on the Very Vanilla layer with Blushing Bride ink, the second layer with stamped-off Calypso Coral, and the third layer with full-strength Calypso Coral. The leaves are very lightly stamped with Sahara Sand ink.

I took the greeting from a new Sale-a-bration 2016 set, Hello. This is one of the sets you can choose with a $50 order starting January 5th!

The new Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon blends perfectly with the Blushing Bride/Calypso Coral roses. I finished it off with a Very Vintage button and a bit of Basic Black Baker's Twine.
