Stampin’Up! Crazy About You!

Stampin’Up! Crazy About You!

Hey there! I'm just hanging out with Oakley this morning! He is a fun little guy!

I've been prepping the project packets for my online class in little bits of time I've managed to carve out in between Lando and Oakly time.

When you place your online order with me of at least $35, two of the projects you will receive in your January packet is this card using the Crazy About You stamp set. You can view the full supply list for this card and get the Hostess Code to use when you place your order when you click HERE.

Here are the Make n' Takes from Founder's Circle year. We were given the Crazy About You set and the coordinating Hello You Thinlet Dies to make these cute little tags and cards with Flowerpot Designer Paper:

Stampin_up_crazy_about_you_4

We embellished a Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bag with a Tea Lace Doily, Flower Pot DSP, "hello" from the Hello You Thinlets, a phrase from Crazy About You, and a Clothespin we covered with a bit of Flowerpot paper:

After cutting out the "thanks" with the Hello You Thinlet die, we colored a background of Whisper White with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie Blendabilites, then used the "negative space" cut out by the die to let the colors show through:

That's all for now. Don't forget to check out the Clearance Rack, New Arrivals, and the Weekly Deals while you are shopping, and be sure to choose a free Sale-a-bration item when your shopping cart total reaches $50 before tax & shipping.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Gentle Peace Week Finale!

Stampin’Up! Gentle Peace Week Finale!

Hey there! Today is the last day of Gentle Peace Week, and I think I've saved the best one for last. Leave a comment today to let me know which one from this week was your favorite:

Stampin_up_gentle_peace_cherry_cobbler_1 - Copy

I used the same technique of coloring the Memento Tuxedo Black-stamped image with our Blendabilities Alcohol Markers as the Blackberry Bliss sample I showed you a few days ago Here. Today I started with a Crushed Curry card base, layering on a Beautifully Barouque-embossed Basic Black layer. I colored with the Blendabilities, using the Cherry Cobbler Assortment for the stained-glass behind the Holy Family. I really like the sparkle the Iridescent Ice adds to this elegant card!

Stampin_up_gente_peace_cherry_cobbler_2 - Copy

Inside I couldn't resist adding Cherry Cobbler to the heart in the "God is Love" from the Trust God set.

That's it! The end of Gentle Peace Week. Which card was your favorite? Leave me a comment and I will randomly choose one name to receive their personal favorite Gentle Peace card free from me.

Stampin’ Up! Gentle Peace in Blackberry Bliss!

Stampin’ Up! Gentle Peace in Blackberry Bliss!

Hey there! For today's Gentle Peace Week sample I went the more traditional route, coloring the "stained glass" image with Blendabilities alcohol markers:

Stampin_up_gentle_peace_blackberry_bliss_1 - Copy

I embossed the background with the Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder. After stamping the stained glass image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring with the Blendabilites (I always loved my crayons when I was little, these are just big girl crayons!) I patted the whole image with a Versamark pad, then heat-embossed with Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss Powder. Just the right sparkle!

Stampin_up_gentle_peace_blackberry_bliss_2 - Copy

To create the background for the "merry Christmas" from Petite Pairs, I stamped the circular star image from Gentle Peace with Crushed Curry ink on Whisper White, stamped the greeting with Memento ink, then washed over both images with the medium Daffodil Delight Blendability. I then punched with my Word Window Punch.

Stampin_up_gentle_peace_blackberry_bliss_3 - Copy

I love how well the images in The Newborn King set coordinate with Gentle Peace. I went clean-and-simple with just Memento ink Tuxedo Black ink on the inside.

That's all for today! There's still two more days of Gentle Peace Week left, so come back again tomorrow for more!

Here's the supply list for today's card. You can place your order in my online store any time of the day or night: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Corner Garden Embossed Blendabilities!

Stampin’ Up! Corner Garden Embossed Blendabilities!

Hey there!  As promised, here's the second card we are making this weekend at my Punch & Technique Class, inspired by Karen Kurz:

Stampin_up_corner_garden_1

We are using the Corner Background stamp to embossing with White Embossing Powder, then coloring the blooms individually with the Blendability Alcohol markers. It's actually pretty easy to do. The Blendability ink dries quickly on the black cardstock and it's easy to re-color if you need to!

Stampin_up_corner_garden_2

If you are local to me and want to come to my class, just contact me to RSVP.

Class dates: Friday, August 8, 2-9 p.m.

            Saturday, August 9, 2-6 p.m.

Class fee:    $10 for the two cards (today's card and the Scalloped Screen Card from yesterday) or free with a $25 minumum order (before tax & shipping)

If you are not local to me but would like have the cards ready-made, I will pop finished cards in the mail to you when you place an order of at least $25 in my Online Store using this Hostess Code: HWWNKYBW

That's all for now! Here's the supply list for today's card:

Stampin’Up! Beauty of the Season for Christmas in July!

Stampin’Up! Beauty of the Season for Christmas in July!

Hey there! Just a quick post today. We've been on vacation with our kids and grandkids, so I've not been focused on my blog or business at all, it's all about the family right now!

I did complete my projects for my Christmas in July class before I left for vacation. I also received my Beauty of the Season set, which is available in July as a Sneak Peek of the upcoming Holiday Catalog. We are going to be using this set to make this:

Stampin_up_beauty_of_the_season_1 - Copy

We will be using Blendabilities in  Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Skin Tones, and the Color Lifter to color the cardinal, stamped with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

More info about this card and the class will be going out in my newsletter later today. If you aren't subscribed to my newsletters, yet, why aren't you? It's easy to subscribe, just go to the "Sign Up for our email newsletter" over on the right side bar of this blog!

Here's the supply list for today's card. You can click on any image below to shop in my online store or click HERE.

That's all for now! I need to get into my suit, out of this room, and out to the waterpark with my family! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Stampers Dozen Blog Hop July Edition Hot Hot Hot!

Stampin’ Up! Stampers Dozen Blog Hop July Edition Hot Hot Hot!

Hey there! It's the 15th of the month, which means it's time for:

970616_10152216696390070_1901389811_n

July's theme is "Hot, Hot, Hot!" and if you just arrived from Stella MacKay's blog, Stellar Stamps you saw her fabulous creations with the Ray of Sunshine stamp set! I love Stella's use of the diagonal "rays" of color for her background, very retro 60's/70's-ish!

My first project today also uses the Ray of Sunshine set:

Stampin_up_ray_of_sunshine_1 - Copy

I used one of the Starburst Framelit Dies to cut the center of the sun, then added 9 banner-punched "rays". I sponged all the Daffodil Delight cardstock with Tangerine Tango ink.

A new Project Life Journaling Pen worked perfect to hand-draw the sunny little face, and I used the White Chalk marker to faux-stitch around the Kraft cardstock base.

I rounded the corners with the corner rounder on the Envelope Punch Board, and created the white copy-paper envelope with the punch board too!

Stampin_up_ray_of_sunshine_2 - Copy

The greeting and the inside sentimet, both from Ray of Sunshine, were stamped with the new Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and the tiny little heart from the Project LIfe Point & Click set was stamped with Melon Mambo ink.

What would Hot, Hot, Hot, be without a riot of yellow and orange blossoms? We made the Ray of Sunshine card and this one with the Flower Patch and Mixed Bunch sets at my Punch & Technique Class this month:

Stampin_up_mixed_bunch_flower_patch_1 - Copy

"Your in My Thoughts" from A Dozen Thoughts was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink BEFORE we embossed the Daffodil Delight layer with the Stylish Stripes folder.

The Flower Patch stamps are a breeze to stamp with the Stampin' Pierce Mat under the cardstock, and the Mixed Bunch blossom really added the Tangerine Tango "punch" needed to make this card really bright & happy!

Stampin_up_mixed_bunch_flower_patch_3 - Copy

We used the darkest Pumpkin Pie Blendability alcohol marker to color the Rhinestones before adding them to the flower centers.

Stampin_up_flower_patch_mixed_bunch_2 - Copy

Inside we stamped my FAVORITE phrase from Perfect Pennants with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

All of the supplies for these projects can be found in My Online Store.

That's all for now! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
