Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July in August!

Hey there! Today I want to let you know, whether you are local to me or not, about my Christmas in July (in August) Class!

This class will be my first class I've held at my house for a long time, so I am really excited about it!

Friday, August 12, 5-9 p.m Saturday, August 13, 1-5 p.m.

You will make 5 Christmas cards (with lots of bells and whistles and matching envelopes) using Holiday Catalog products for $25 or free with an order of at least $40.There will be more than five cards to choose from. You can choose five to make (limit one of each design) or make more than five for an additional $5 each.

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods for Christmas in July!

Hey there! Yesterday I finished all of the paper cutting/supply prep for my Christmas in July class! yippee! You have no idea how excited I am to be able to use these next couple of days to prep for other events, blog posts, birthday cards I need to make, etc! This never happens and may never happen again! lol!

Today I'm sharing another card we'll make this weekend with Winter Woods, Birch Background, and Rooted In Nature!

We will stamp the Birch Background first with Smoky Slate, then use the image to add Fine Tip Glue and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for "snow"! We will also be using the same technique to add "snow" to the trees!

A little bit of sponging with Pretty Peacock ink:

Stampin’ Up! Swirls & Scribbles Snowman!

Hey there! Today I have the 4th card I created for my Christmas in July Class this weekend. I used the Swirly Scribbles Framelits and the Snow Place stamps to create this fun fellow!

We are cutting the Swirly Scribbles snowman body from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper for more sparkle!

Tree Builder arms are easy to add with Glue Dots. His hat, scarf, and greeting are all from the Snow Place stamp set, a carryover from last year's Holiday Catalog.

The tiny little snowman, Santa hat, snow flakes, and the inside sentiment are also from Snow Place.

Stampin’ Up! Best Birds for Christmas in July!

Hey there! I had a workshop on Friday night, Saturday morning a few of my team of Yes Mam! Stampers met at my house at 5:30 a.m. to travel up to Champaign, IL, for "Vacation Stamping School", a day-long meeting of inspiration, stamping, and sharing! On Sunday we had dinner with our family, and in the afternoon Mark & I attended a 40th anniversary party for life-long friends.Today I've been playing catch-up with laundry, dishes, etc!. Later today friends are coming to stamp with me, but so I'm sharing this project with you before the day gets away!

It's time for my annual "Christmas in July" class, and I created this card with the "Best Birds" Bundle for it!

I used the Woodland Textured Impressions folder for the Sahara Sand background.

I used images from the Reason for the Season set, stamping "Peace be with you" with Mint Macaron, stamping the "cheesecloth" image from Best Birds with stamped-off Sahara Sand, and cutting the bird with a Birds & Blooms Thinlet.

This card is just one of the four we will be making at my Christmas in July Class this weekend.

Stampin’ Up! Santa’s Gifts and New Weekly Deals!

Hey there! I think I'm a bit "convention lagged", similar to "jet lag". Salt Lake City is only one hour west, but the excitement, inspiration, and fun have taken their toll. It's a good "worn out", though. I've slept in two mornings in a row, so I am recovering!

Seriously, Inspire Create Share 2015 was fabulous! I learned lots, took lots of pictures, and laughed A LOT!

We also got to see and bring home a copy of the new Holiday Catalog. OH MY GOODNESS. YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT!!!!

Today I am sharing an extra card for my Christmas in July Class that didn't make the cut. It's made with the Santa's Gifts set from the Annual Catalog. Along with Christmas Cards, you always need a few thank you cards too!

All the images are included in the Santa's Gifts set. I punched the banner from Merry Moments Designer Paper with the Banner Punch, then used glue dots to add to the card front for a "faux banner".

Stampin' Write Marker's colored the reindeer, and I punched the Silver Glimmer Paper star with the Confetti Stars Punch.

I love the little potted Christmas Tree!
