Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Festival of Trees, Part 1!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Festival of Trees, Part 1!

Hey there! It's Sunday! yay! My stack of Festival of Trees swaps from Founder's is BIG, so I'm going to start sharing a few of them with you today!

We'll start off with this lovely by Laurie Krauss. Laurie combined images from Festival of Trees, Wonderful Wreath, and Christmas Bliss with All is Calm Designer Specialty Paper and the On Point Textured Impressions folder. She added the perfect touch with tiny Silver Glimmer stars punched with the Confetti Stars Punch!

Next, Aly Schilling created this super-cute-but-super-easy Festival of Trees swap, adding Santa & Co. Designer Washi Tape, a greeting from Sassy Salutations, and a Gold Glimmer star!

Third in our line-up today, Laura Milligan created a vintage-inspired look with Very Vanilla, Soft Sky, and Crumb Cake. She embossed with the Lucky Stars folder, added a bit of Venetian Crochet Trim, and finished off with a Gold Glimmer star!

Finally for today, Winona Semler went very clean-and-simple, using just Festival of Trees, On Point folder, and a Silver Glimmer Star!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Wreath with Baby Wipes!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Wreath with Baby Wipes!

I had a good day of playing with my stamps on Wednesday. Mainly I worked on projects for my classes this weekend (which I still have some room in the Saturday classes from 1-6, by the way), but after playing with the Wonderful Wreath stamp for a Christmas Card I decided to back up a bit and use this stamp for a fall card too:

Fall wonderful wreath

I used the Baby Wipe Technique to ink the stamp with Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive! I used the Beautiful Baroque Textured Impressions folder on the Cajun Craze layer. Before attaching the Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding bow with a Glue Dot I moistened the ends of the ribbon and crumpled them with my fingers. The greeting, "thanks is for giving" is from Seasonal Sayings. I cut it out with one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies. After matting the greeting with an Early Espresso label the same size but cut in half to "stretch" it, I added a Cherry Cobbler Candy Dot to each side of the "thanks".

Wonderful wreath 2
Inside the card I inked the Wonderful Wreath stamp with the Baby Wipe pad to stamp the wreath again. I stamped a phrase from Field Flowers inside the wreath.

This card will be one of the 6 cards we will be making at my "Falling Into Fall" Card Class on Friday, October 18th from 1-9 p.m. Class fee is a low $10 to make all 6 cards with envelopes. Class is free with a $25 order.

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Wreath Completed!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Wreath Completed!

Good morning! Today is a special day! My baby boy, Ben, turns 21 today! Ahhhhhh!

Here's a recent picture of Ben:

Ben

I'm so proud of him. He has grown into a fine young man; loving, kind, thoughtful. He really thinks things through. He's working and going to school, and although he hasn't exactly found his job goal, he's still working on it!

Ben is #6 in my Payne Clan. Until Ben arrived, I always felt our family wasn't complete yet. At the dinner table, I would look around at my happy, crazy bunch of kids and I just knew we weren't all here yet. After Ben's birth, I knew I was done. He is just the icing on my cake!

Today's card you have seen before HERE, but I wanted to show you the completed card with the inside:

Wonderful wreath 1

Wonderful Wreath and Joy to the World stamps from the Holiday Catalog were used on the card front, with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions folder for depth. We will be using ovals from the Large Oval and Extra Large Oval punches and a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel to create the bow. We will be using the Cupcake Builder Punch to punch the berries for the wreath!

Wonderful wreath 2
Inside I stamped a small image from Mosaic Madness, inked with a Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker in each corner. The verse is from another Holiday Catalog set, Christmas Messages.

That's all for now! I need to finish setting up for my Holiday Catalog Open House this afternoon!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Wonderful Wreath for the Holiday Catalog Open House!

Stampin’Up! Wonderful Wreath for the Holiday Catalog Open House!

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Just a quick post this morning. I just returned home yesterday evening from helping Alisa with baby Oakley, and now I'm off again early this morning to run some errands and to keep an appointment! You know how things are when you've been gone for from home for nearly two weeks but your family is still there! Chaos! Loads of laundry, and stuff just out-of-place! Ohhhhhhh!

This is the card you will be making when you attend my Holiday Catalog Open House this coming Saturday using all new products from the Hoilday Catalog, including the new Wonderful Wreath stamp:

Wonderful wreath

Isn't this pretty? I received this in one of the swaps I sent to convention this year. I'm so glad I did!

Here's Oakley this past Sunday! The day was so comfortable outside, not at all hot & muggy. We couldn't resist hanging out on a quilt in the yard for awhile. Oakley needed a bit of sun to help with his jaundice (which we had a GREAT report about yesterday!), so he hung out with us too:

Oakley 7- 28-13

That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by to check on me. Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
