Stampin’ Up! Christmas Messages Circle Thinlet Card!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Messages Circle Thinlet Card!

Today's card is the third card we will be making today and tomorrow at my October Christmas Card Class using the Circle Thinlet Card Die, Christmas Messages stamp set, and Season of Style Designer Series Paper.

Deck the halls 1

We will also be adding some dashes of Season of Style Washi Tape and Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

Deck the halls 2

This card is modified just a bit from the standard Circle Thinlet card because it has an extra flap! The measurements of the card base before cutting with the Thinlet Die are 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

Deck the halls 3

Wonderful Wreath is stamped with Old Olive ink then cut out with the scallop circle die included in the Circle Thinlet Card Die set. The center of the wreath is stamped with the Be Very Merry stamp, and the "berries" are Season of Style Washi Tape on Whisper White scraps punched with the Owl Builder Punch.

Deck the halls 4

The final touch is the miniature wreath, also made with Season of Style Washi Tape, the 1/2" Circle Punch, and the 7/8" Circle Punch! The "bow" on the wreath is made with two of the Owl Builder Punch Hearts!

That's all for now! Thanks so much for stopping in today to see what I've been up to!

Hello! It's time to get my monthly swap into the mail, so I've been up late getting mine ready to go!

Each month's swap has a different theme, and this month the theme is to use one of the new Thinlet Card Dies or a fun fold card. I had a few ideas for my swap that just didn't pan out, but I finally came up with this:

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Christmas!

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Christmas!

Good morning! Today is a special day for me! Today is my 36th wedding anniversary! yay! My sweet hubby and I are in Branson, MO for a few days. Last night we saw the "Shepherd of the Hills" outdoor pageant. We saw it a few years ago and liked it so much we decided to see it again. It was just as good as the first time!

Today I have another card we will be making at my Christmas Card Class this coming Friday and Saturday using the Holiday Catalog set, Joyful Christmas, the Circle Thinlet Card Die, Season of Style Designer Paper, and Gold Foil Sheets:

Joyful christmas 1
I was inspired by a card made by Corinne Somerville from Canada!

Joyful christmas 6
All stamps used are from the Joyful Christmas stamp set, and the colors of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake are taken directly from the colors in the Season of Style Designer Paper. I used the Gold Foil Sheets to punch the flower centers with the Cupcake Builder punch.

That's all for now. I'm not sure just what we are up to today, but anytime spent with my sweetheart is time well spent!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
