Stampin’ Up! Year in Review Continues!

Hey there! I'm plowing through my blog to find retiring favorites again today! I wanted to share these with you while you still have time to order them before they're gone after tomorrow!

I used the retiring Sassy Salutations and Age Awareness for this fun birthday balloon card:

Sassy Salutations in clear is sold out, but is still available in wood. Age Awareness is photopolymer and still available. The Cherry on Top Designer Paper I used is also retiring.

Use code #136603 for the Wood-mount Bundle $39.75, and #136604 for the Clear-mount Bundle $35.50.

Stampin’ Up! Honeycomb Hello!

Stampin’ Up! Honeycomb Hello!

Hey there! I've been finding  the Honeycomb Hello set in my drawer for awhile and telling myself I need to create with it. Last night I finally did!

I pulled out everything that was "honeycomb" related: Hexagon Hive Thinlets die, Honeycomb Textured Impressions Folder, and Honeycomb Embellishments from the Occasions Catalog. I used Delightful Dijon and Soft Suede because these colors just say "honey" to me, and the "bee mine" phrase makes a perfect Valentine!

  Stampin_up_honeycomb_hello_1 - Copy

I stamped the "chevron" honeycomb image directly on the Soft Suede cut with the Hexagon Hive Thinlet. I added color to the bee with my Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, and shine to the heart with the Clear Wink of Stella.

Stampin_up_honeycomb_hello_2 - Copy

I embossed the Delightful Dijon Decorative Label with the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Folder and added a self-adhesive Honeycomb Embellishment. I cut 1 1/4" White Jute Ribbon into a narrow four-thread strand to tie into a rustic bow.

Stampin_up_honeycomb_hello_3 - Copy

Inside I added a sentiment from the Perfect Pairings Sale-a-bration set. You could choose this set for free with your $50 order place in my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Tarts Shaker for Ava!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Tarts Shaker for Ava!

Hey there! Did I mention I made THREE birthday cards for Ava? I did! Today's card is in honor of her party theme, Sweet Tarts!

Uncle Logan & Uncle Ben needed a card to put money in for her party, so I created this using Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Whisper White, and Mint Macaron:

Stampin_up_you're_so_sweet_1 - Copy

I used my 3/4" Circle Punch for the "sweet tarts" on the card front, adhering them to the Whisper White layer, then embossing with the Elegant Dots folder for an "inlaid embossing" effect!

The largest circle from the Owl Builder punched the  "sweet tarts" in the shaker, mixing them in with Metallic Sequins.

Stampin_up_you're_so_sweet_3

The greeting is from You're So Sweet, cut with one of the Mini Treat Bag Framelit Dies. I cut the Whisper White layer with the framelit, then stamped again on Wisteria Wonder and hand cut with my Paper Snips.

Stampin_up_you're_so_sweet_5

Inside I used another sentiment from You're So Sweet and a "Happy Birth Day" from Honeycomb Hello.

Stampin_up_you're_so_sweet_2 - Copy

I cut the inside Whisper White layer  6 1/2" x 4", scoring at 5 1/4" so I could fold up the flap to create the pocket for money, a giftcard, or any other little treat that would fit!

Stampin’ Up! Another Thank You and Newest Weekly Deals!

Stampin’ Up! Another Thank You and Newest Weekly Deals!

Hey there! I had a relaxing girls-day-out yesterday: lunch with two of my daughters at Applebee's, a bit of shopping where I found my favorite Clark's sandals on sale, and then a long-overdue mani-pedi! yay!

Today's card I created for the bride-to-be to use for her thank-you's. We gave all shower attendees the envelope to fill out their name and address to make it easier for the bride. I kept with the bride's color scheme of Crumb Cake, Pool Party, and Very Vanilla to create this:

Stampin_up_another_thank_you_1

I couldn't resist pulling out my retired Cannery Framelits Dies because they just went perfectly with the theme, and I was delighted to discover that the "thank you" I chose from the photopolymer Another Thank You set had teeny-tiny hearts lined up under the words!

Stampin_up_something_lacy

After I cut out the canning jar with the Cannery Framelit, I embossed it with the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Folder. I tied a bit of Linen Thread around the top of the can, then adhered a heart punched from the same white-embossed Something Lacy that I used on the table decorations using the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

Stampin_up_honeycomb_hello

I found hearts that matched the Itty Bitty Shapes heart punch in both the Honeycomb Hello and the Hello Life stamp sets. I also used these same two hearts to stamp on the Crumb Cake envelope. I decided to leave the rest of the inside layer blank so the bride would have plenty of room to write her thank-you notes.

That's all for now, except for giving you the list of available supplies to make your own thank-you notes and the Weekly Deals!
