Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms For You!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms For You!

Hey there! It's Monday again, but this is the last Monday in May, isn't it? That means next Monday it will be JUNE and the NEW CATALOG starts on June 2nd! yay! Only a week and  day left to wait!

Today I am sharing with you the next-to-last card in the Painted Blooms series:

Stampin_up_painted_blooms_for_you_1 - Copy

Every card created from this one sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper has a different look. The bold  yet feminine font of the "hello" from the For You stamp set, which is retiring on June 2nd, highlights the Blackberry Bliss color perfectly in the background paper.

I used one of the two phrases from Million & One for the inside sentiment. This set is also retiring, so if you want it you need to order it TODAY. After May 25 (today) all of the stamps will become while supplies last too.

I'm really going to miss this pack of paper and all of the stamps I've been using with them.

Stampin’ Up! Lotus Blossom!

Stampin’ Up! Lotus Blossom!

Hey there! It's another FREEZING cold day here, but that can be said for much of the U.S., can't it? Last night I got to stamp with a lovely group of ladies that I love. Their group is not actually a club, because we keep having new stampers coming every month, but their event is a Mystery Hostess Stamp Camp!

Here's how it works:

Each stamper brings a finger food of their choice to the event. (if they can't bring a snack that's o.k. too) Everyone has the choice to either pay the flat $10 stamp camp fee or place an order of at least $30 to stamp the 4 cards for free. Everyone who places an order gets their name in a drawing to see who gets the Host Benefits from the combined total of the night's orders. Whoever was the hostess the month before is excluded from the drawing, even though they usually place an order anyway.

It works out pretty well; everyone seems to be happy and has a great time stamping, snacking, and visiting!

Here's one of the cards we made last night. This was inspired by a Leadership swap:
Stampin_up_lotus_blossom_1 - Copy
I just realized as I was adding my watermark to these pictures that it is out-of-date. It's 2015, isn't it? I've been so involved with my grandbabies that I haven't had time to think about my watermark date! Guess this goes on my "to do" list for next week!

Stampin_up_lotus_blossom_2 - Copy

This set, Lotus Blossom, is one of the sets you can choose from the Sale-a-bration brochure when you place a $50 order. About half of the stampers placing orders last night chose this set for their freebie!

That's all for now. If you would like to choose this set for your $50 order freebie, just go to my online store to place your order: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/carolpayne/

Here's your shopping list for today's card:

Don't forget, all orders of any amount placed in my online store will receive a Thank-you Project Packet in the mail from me!

Until tomorrow, which is Sunday Swap Day, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Mixed Bunch with Blendabilities!

Stampin’Up! Mixed Bunch with Blendabilities!

Hey there! How's your week going? It's Wednesday, isn't it? I have a party tonight in Carbondale. Here's a card we will be making using Mixed Bunch, A Dozen Thoughts, Million & One, and Blendabilites markers:

Stampin_up_mixed_bunch_1 - Copy

I embossed two Mixed Bunch blooms with white embossing powder on Basic Black cardstock, colored one with a Pumpkin Pie Blendability, colored the other with a Cherry Cobbler Blendability, punched both with the Blossom punch, then layered them with a Glue Dot in the center.

I made a paper clay button with my Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Paper Clay & Molds. I colored the button with a Daffodil Delight Blendability marker, then attached to the flower center with Tombow glue.

IMG_6298 - Copy

Inside I stamped the Million & One sentiment with Memento ink and added a few blendability-colored flowers to coordinate with the card front:

Stampin_up_mixed_bunch_3 - Copy

That's it, pretty simple card. Paper clay buttons need about 24 hours to dry before using, but just a little forethought is all it takes to get a little pile ready for class!

Here's your shopping list for today:

Stampin’ Up! Five-Way Flower Pop n’ Cuts Card!

Stampin’ Up! Five-Way Flower Pop n’ Cuts Card!

Hey there! I'm back to day with the OPPOSITE of yesterday's post; instead of Clean-and-Simple, this one you could say is "high maintenance". lol!

Stampin_up_five_way_flower_1 - Copy

I used the Pop 'n Cuts Card Base Die for the card base. It makes fancy little curves on the front end of the base – I love it! I also clear heat-embossed the Five-Way Flower on both Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette cardstock two times on each color before punching with all of the scallop circle punches in the catalog!

Stampin_up_five_way_flower_2 - Copy

Pretty much every layer is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. This would definitely be a special card for a special someone!

Stampin_up_five_way_flower_3 - Copy

I finished the inside with one of the phrases from Million & One, cut and layered with Deco Label Framelits.

Stampin_up_five _way_flower_closeCopy (2) - Copy

Up close you can see all the details of the heat-embossed, punched layers, as well as the fun trim details I added. I never seem to use the strips of connected pearls very much from the Pearls Basic Jewels very often, but they were the perfect choice to layer over the Victoria Crochet Trim and the Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffled Stretch Trim!

That's all for now! Check out my supply list for this card, then go to my Online Store to shop! Don't forget there's a new set of Weekly Deals, as well as the Clearance Rack to browse. You never know what you will find in there!

Please note: the "congratulations" greeting is from the Hostess Set, Express Yourself. I did not include it in the supply list because you can only choose it as part of your Hostess freebies when you submit an order of at least $150, whether it is just your own order, or a combined order of yours and those of your friends. If you have any questions about that, please contact me!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Sweetheart Treat Bags and Mosaic Madness!

Stampin’ Up! Sweetheart Treat Bags and Mosaic Madness!

Hey there! I'm a bit nervous about the next few days because Wednesday my husband had the flu and I hate having the flu! Give me a bad cold, sore throat, almost anything else I can handle except throwing up.

While I am still upright and feeling well (I have a workshop Thursday night and a stamp camp on Saturday) I decided to schedule my next few blog posts, so here we go!

I've been stamping up a storm this week. Stamping so much that I almost forgot to show you a couple more of the Shoebox Swaps we made on Sunday:

Stampin_up_love_you_more_sweetheart_treat_bags_1

Angela Henson used the Sweetheart Treat Bags and the Love You More stamp set to create her chocolate-filled card! The Sweetheart Treat Bags (#134610, $4.95 for 12 bags, 12 pre-cut Pool Party Baker's Twine pieces, and 12 die-cut labels) and the Love You More stamp set (#131850 wood-mount $21.95, #131853 clear-mount $16.95) are only available to order through January 27th!) She had us punch Pool Party cardstock with the Small Heart Punch and attach them to the flap and body of the bag with Stampin' Dimensionals before wrapping the Pool Party Baker's Twine around them to close the treat bag.

Stampin_up_love_you_more_sweetheart_treat_bags_2

On the inside, we stamped the birdie from Love You More with Pool Party ink, then added a Small Heart-punched piece of Real Red Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper to his beak!

Stampin_up_mosaic_madness_1

Jan Lacey prepared this beautiful card for us to make. We stamped one of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps all over the Whisper White layer with Soft Sky ink before embossing with the Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder. We also stamped  with the same stamp on the Tea Lace Doily before adding the Pool Party and Island Indigo stamped-and-punched images from Mosaic Maddness.

Stampin_up_million_&_one

Inside we stamped the "Fabulous is what you are" from the Million & One stamp set, then accented it with more stamps from Mosaic Maddness and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel!

Unfortunately, I ran out of time at the Shoebox Swap to finish the rest of the projects, so they will have to wait for another day. =(

That's all for now. Don't forget the Valentine products on the Whole Lot of Love flyer are only available through next Monday, January 27th:

Happy Father’s Day! Secret Garden Masked Corners Re-visited!

Happy Father’s Day! Secret Garden Masked Corners Re-visited!

Good morning! Happy Father's Day! I'm sure many of you will be preparing a meal, or get-together for the fathers in your life, so I will make this a quick post!

My dad passed away 19 years ago. I still miss him and think of him often. He was a great Dad and an even GREATER grandpa! Just ask my oldest three: Jessica, Kimberly, and Troy, they will tell you Grandpa Wall was the BEST!

Yesterday I prepped for my workshops this coming week. One of them is a monthly class/club, so I see several of the same stampers every month. Last month they picked THIS CARD from my display to do this month. Two of the ink colors, all of the word stamps, and the ribbon retired on May 31, so I re-worked the card using all current products:

Secret Garden 1

What do you think? I kept the Secret Garden stamps and Framelits Collection, then substituted Blushing Bride for Pretty in Pink, Pear Pizzazz for Lucky Limeade, Pear Pizzazz 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon for Certainly Celery ribbon, and a phrase from Best of Greetings instead of the retired Friendly Phrases.

Secret garden 2
Inside I switched out the Beautiful Birthday stamp (one of my all-time favs) for one of the stamps from the new Million & One set (which is quickly becoming a NEW fav of mine)!

Well,I still have some things to prep and gather together for the day! It's church first, of course, then grilling out at Jessica's, swimming, (maybe a nap, who knows?), and generally hanging out with the entire family the rest of the day! I can't wait!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
