Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day! Valentines!

Hey there. It's late Saturday night and I'm hoping I'm past the danger zone for the flu. I'm still not holding my breath, but right now I still feel fine!

I have been sorting through more of my pictures from Leadership and found these Valentines I need to share with you before February gets here. I just took pictures of these so I don't know who created them. If you do know (or are) the creator, please let me know so I can give you credit!

Here's a cute little Valentine treat holder made with one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits, Heart Framelits, Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Folder, and a phrase from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I DO know the creator of this one, my dear friend, Linda Hunt! I remember she swapped this with me because it is one of the few 3-D swaps I received. I love getting to see Linda at Stampin' Up! events. We've been friends ever since the Alaska cruise in 2011!

This Envelope Punch Board Treat Pouch features the Label Love stamp set and Cherry Cobbler 3/4" Chevron Ribbon. Cute & easy!

This sweet little notecard-sized card features the Love You to the Moon stamp set. It would also make a cute anniversary or encouragement card for a family member.

This treat holder (complete with Chocolate, of course!) was created with Modern Medley Designer Paper, Chalk Talk stamps, Cherry Cobbler 3/4" Chevron Ribbon (love this stuff too!) and 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon.

Last but definitely not least, this card was created with Strawberry Slush, Whisper White, and Rich Razzleberry cardstock, a Tea Lace Doily, Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim, Ampersand Textured Impressions Folder, and stamps from the Perfect Pennants stamp set!

Stampin’ Up! Sweetheart Treat Bags and Mosaic Madness!

Hey there! I'm a bit nervous about the next few days because Wednesday my husband had the flu and I hate having the flu! Give me a bad cold, sore throat, almost anything else I can handle except throwing up.

While I am still upright and feeling well (I have a workshop Thursday night and a stamp camp on Saturday) I decided to schedule my next few blog posts, so here we go!

I've been stamping up a storm this week. Stamping so much that I almost forgot to show you a couple more of the Shoebox Swaps we made on Sunday:

Angela Henson used the Sweetheart Treat Bags and the Love You More stamp set to create her chocolate-filled card! The Sweetheart Treat Bags (#134610, $4.95 for 12 bags, 12 pre-cut Pool Party Baker's Twine pieces, and 12 die-cut labels) and the Love You More stamp set (#131850 wood-mount $21.95, #131853 clear-mount $16.95) are only available to order through January 27th!) She had us punch Pool Party cardstock with the Small Heart Punch and attach them to the flap and body of the bag with Stampin' Dimensionals before wrapping the Pool Party Baker's Twine around them to close the treat bag.

On the inside, we stamped the birdie from Love You More with Pool Party ink, then added a Small Heart-punched piece of Real Red Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper to his beak!

Jan Lacey prepared this beautiful card for us to make. We stamped one of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps all over the Whisper White layer with Soft Sky ink before embossing with the Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder. We also stamped with the same stamp on the Tea Lace Doily before adding the Pool Party and Island Indigo stamped-and-punched images from Mosaic Maddness.

Inside we stamped the "Fabulous is what you are" from the Million & One stamp set, then accented it with more stamps from Mosaic Maddness and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel!

Unfortunately, I ran out of time at the Shoebox Swap to finish the rest of the projects, so they will have to wait for another day. =(

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day! Retro Fresh Suite!

Hey there! Today is Sunday, which means it's Sunday Swap Day! yay!

These swaps are all from Leadership in Houston a few weeks ago. Some of them are swaps I brought home and some are swaps belonging to my downline, Linda!

All FIVE of these swaps have the same theme: they are all created using something from the Retro Fresh product suite on pages 18-19 of the Occasions Catalog:

Baked Brown Sugar cardbase, Costal Cabana and Very Vanill cardstock, Retro Fresh Designer Paper, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Baked Brown Sugar 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim, Love You to the Moon pg 25 of the Occasions Catalog.

Soft Suede card base, Coastal Cabana Core'dinations (it has that pretty texture!) and Very Vanilla cardstock, Retro Fresh Designer Paper, Angled Tag Topper Punch, Ampersand Textured Impressions Folder, Banner Punch (Sale-a-bration brochure), and Perfect Pennants stamps on page 27 of the Occasions Catalog.

Very Vanilla card base, Coastal Cabana and So Saffron cardstock, Retro Fresh This and Taht Designer Washi Tape, Full Heart Punch, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and Bitty Banners Framelits.

I think this one might be my favorite because of its super-simplicity and the saying from the Just Sayin' stamp set on page 36 of the Occasions catalog, cut out with the Word Bubbles Framelits Dies. This stamp set and dies are "bundled" together so that when you buy them at the same time you get a 15 % discount on what they would be if you bought them separately. The stamps are available in both wood-mount and clear-mount too!

That's all for now! After church this morning and Sunday dinner with the fam, I have a downline meeting this afternoon! We are having a Shoebox Swap, and I've got my card all ready and 12 packets cut so everyone can make it. I will come home with 12 different cards, each designed by one of my downline who also teaches and sells Stampin' Up! products. Fun!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day – Valentine’s Day is on Its’ Way!

Hey there! It's Sunday, which means it's the day I share some of my monthly swaps with you all. Since it's really just a short time before Valentine's Day is here, I wanted to show you these two Valentines:

This year Stampin' Up! released three limited-edition valentine sets that are only available until January 27th. This card by Mary Waring was created with the Love You More set (#131850 wood-mount $21.95 or #131853 clear-mount $16.95) and Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (#132996 $6.95). The paper-pieced birdie is holding a Cherry Cobbler-punched small heart and tiny linen-thread banner from the Follow My Heart Stamp Set.

This card by Kathy Morgan was created with the Follow My Heart set (#134611 $15.95 wood-mount, #134614 $11.95 clear-mount), as well as the En Francais background (#128562 $17.95 wood-mount, #127790 $13.95 clear-mount) and the third limited-edition valentine stamp, Flowerful Heart stamp (#134617 $9.95 wood-mount only). Kathy stamped the Flowerful Heart stamp with Pink Pirouette ink on whisper white, then cut it out with the smallest of the Heart Framelits. She then cut a Raspberry Ripple heart with the next-sized-larger Heart Framelit. The Eiffel Tower and the En Francais background are both stamped with Soft Suede in, then cut with an Oval Collection Framelit. It is layered on a next-sized-larger Soft Suede Oval.
