Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Another Great Year!

Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Another Great Year!

Hey there. I have another card to share with you today that I created a few weeks ago but just haven't had time to show you yet. I "think" today's card doesn't have a single retiring product on it, but let's check to make sure, shall we?

Stampin_up_another_great_year_watercolor_1

I embossed the greeting from Another Great Year (carrying over to the NEW 2014-2015 Catalog!) with White Stampin' Emboss Powder before applying the color to the Watercolor Paper.

Whoops! I DID use Midnight Muse ink and cardstock, which is retiring! =(  This color can be substituted with Night of Navy and would still blend well on the Watercolor Paper with the Pool Party and Baked brown Sugar. All colors were applied to wet Watercolor Paper with an AquaPainter dipped directly into ink refills.

As a final touch I splashed a few drops of water onto the paper and then allowed the water to just settle into the color.

Sponging around the edges of the inside and the outside pulls the color from the Midnight Muse layer into the creation.

That's all for now. Below is the listing of the products used for you to refer to as you are shopping in my Online Store HERE.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Hippity Hoppity Hip Notes!

Stampin’ Up! Hippity Hoppity Hip Notes!

Hey there! Hope you've had a good day. I had a short visit from Jessica and her little boys (Cohen & Jaxon) for a few hours this evening, so add in some stamping earlier today and it's been practically perfect!

My card for you tonight is an original Carol Payne from start to finish! No CASEing, just a new punch treatment for an cute little bunny, and the greeting from Hip Notes makes it perfect for a spring birthday!

Stampin_up_hip_notes_1 - Copy

I used lots of oval punches for this little fellow. I sponged the Baked Brown Sugar cardstock with Whisper White craft ink, and the lining of his ears and his nose are Blushing Bride Designer Paper and cardstock.

Inside the card I continued the oval theme to layer the greeting from Really Good Greetings.

Here's the supply list for today's project. You can purchase all of them from My Online Store:

Stampin’Up! Scalloped Tag Topper Easter Treats!

Stampin’Up! Scalloped Tag Topper Easter Treats!

Hey there! I'm back again! yay! I didn't get any time to stamp today, but that's o.k. All of my kids and grandkids were here off and on all day, so it was a fun day!

As promised, I have a trio of treat holders to show you, all created with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and various other punches:

Stampin_up_scalloped_tag_topper_easter_pals - Copy

I'm so happy with the way these little babies turned out! I found inspiration for each one from MANY different sources, so assigning an original creator would be pretty much impossible.

This little lamb has Calypso Coral twine to hold her together, and the Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Folder was used for al the texture. Her nose is a Blushing Bride Candy Dot, as is the center of the cork embellishment flower. The Calypso Coral twine and the Decorative Dots folder are only available as FREE Sale-a-bration items for ONE MORE DAY ONLY – March 31!

This little chickie has a tuft of a real feather added with a glue dot (purchased at a craft store), and her beak is from one of the Boho Blossoms, cut across the flower with Paper Snips to create the top and bottom of the beak. Her little feet are also punched with the same Boho Blossom.

Stampin_up_scalloped_tag_topper_pal_2 - Copy

Finally, little Miss Bunny is punched from Baked Brown Sugar cardstock. The center of her ears and her nose are cut from the slot punched out from the top of the Tag Topper Punch!

Stampin_up_scalloped_tag_topper_pal_3 - Copy

I needed a tiny Easter Basket for Miss Bunny, so I used the vest from the Owl Punch and punched a handle with my Small Oval Punch. The "eggs" in the basket are Coastal Cabana and Soft Sky-punched with the smaller eye of the Owl Punch. If you don't have the Owl Builder Punch yet, you NEED it!

That's all for now. Remember, Monday, March 31st is the LAST DAY of Sale-a-bration, so please go to my Online Store before Midnight tonight to place your order and choose your free items! If you have been thinking of joining the Stampin' Up! demonstrator family and would also like to be a part of my group, the Yes, Mam! Stampers, you can sign up while you are there!

Stampin’ Up! Peachy Keen Sneak Peek!

Stampin’ Up! Peachy Keen Sneak Peek!

Hey there! I'm switching gears for just a minute to show you a sneak peek from the upcoming Occasions 2014 Catalog. My monthly swap needs to go in the mail tomorrow, so I sat down and came up with this:

Stampin_up_peachy_keen_1

What do you think? It's my first effort using Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure products, so I don't really have my brain wrapped around it yet (not to mention my brain is still full of Christmas ideas, colors, and layouts!).

This card doesn't use a lot of bells and whistles, just plain ol' stampin' fun!

I used Baked Brown Sugar cardstock for my first two layers, texturizing the second layer with the Chevron Textured Impressions Folder. I then layered on a 1 1/2" x 4" strip of new Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper. I inked the "hello friend" stamp from Peachy Keen with Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Baked Brown Sugar, and Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Markers, overlapping the Cajun Craze on the lighter Calypso Coral for a "gradient color" effect. After breathing on the stamp to make sure the ink was well-moistened, I stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla. I then cut it out with the next-to smallest framelit from the new Banners Framelits Dies and the Big Shot.

The "ribbon" under the adhered framelit is actually from the Sale-a-bration brochure, in the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, Pool Party Twine.

I finished it off with a Pool Party Candy Dot in the lower right corner.

Stampin_up_peachy_keen_2

Inside I continued the gradient color technique using Calyspo Coral, Cajun Craze, Coastal Cabana, and Baked Brown Sugar markers.

That's all for now! You can't order any of the Occasions Catalog products yet, but the Annual Catalog and the Holiday Catalog are still in effect, as well as the Clearance Rack and Weekly Deals. Click HERE to shop!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Shop Around Wheel with Postage Collection!

Stampin’ Up! Shop Around Wheel with Postage Collection!

Good morning! Today is a busy day and tonight is Liam's first birthday party! Yay!

Just quickly want to share this card with you, created by Katy Simecka. It is a Convention 2013 swap from my monthly group. We made this card earlier this week at a Stamp Camp.

The Shop Around Jumbo wheel inked with Baked Brown Sugar ink was "wheeled" off a bit before rolling on the Very Vanilla cardstock, and the Coastal Cabana layer was embossed with the Mosaic Madness folder.

I altered Katy's original slightly by stamping the Dress Form with the tiny stamps in the Postage Collection Hostess set.

The "just for you" is from Label Love punched with the Artisan Label punch.

The Basic Jewel Rhinestones in the corners and on the dress belt have been colored with a turquoise Sharpie marker. I love that you can customize your Rhinestones with Sharpies! Add to this the fact you can find Sharpies in a multitude of colors at Walmart and Staples and it's a win!

Shop around 1

The 'Birthday Wishes" is from the Four You stamp set. I stamped the Postage Collection vintag-y stamps again with Baked Brown Sugar ink.

Shop around 2

I LOVE this card, and my stamper's did too!

That's all for now! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day #4!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day #4!

Good morning! How are you on this last Sunday of July? I ready to share with you a few more swaps! Without further ado, here we go!

This card was created with 2013-2015 In Colors Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Strawberry Slush using the Sketched Birthday stamp set on page 13! Stampin' Up! gave everyone at Leadership in Orlando, FL this set, so I'm happy I have it!

Sketched birthday 1

The greeting is from the photopolymner stamp set, Bombs Away Birthday! This set is a go-to when I want a fun, irreverent, birthday greeting!

Sketched birthday 2

Next up is a card with the Tea Party stamp set (pg 35), Oval Collection Framelits, Beautifully Barouque Textured Impressions Folder, Tea Lace Doily, and Baked Brown Sugar 3/8" Stretch Ruffled Ribbon!

Tea party 1

Close-up you can see the attention to detail of both Stampin' Up!'s stamp creation and the stamper's coloring of the image with Baked Brown Sugar and Marina Mist ink & a Blender Pen. The addition of the 4-Petal punched flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and the Basic Jewel Pearl give dimension and vintage style!

Tea party 2

Last-but-certainly-not-least, Susie Wood created this center easel card with the Kind & Cozy (page 82) and the Simply Stars (page 124) stamp sets! Don't worry about all of those Real Red punched stars, the Merry Minis Punch Pack is still available on the Holiday Carryover List! The "hello" is from the Four You stamp set on page 22!

Susie Wood

That's all for now! I will be back tomorrow with more fun creations to show you and will have more swaps to show you next Sunday!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
