Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stampers Holiday Catalog Shoebox Swap!

Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stampers Holiday Catalog Shoebox Swap!

Hey there! Monday Night I hosted a meeting for my team, the Yes Mam! Stampers.  There were 10 of us stamping, chatting, laughing, and sharing!

The bulk of our meeting was a "shoebox swap". Everyone designed a card, prepped the cardstock, etc., then gathered all of the supplies needed into a "shoebox". We then made each other's cards, having a lot of fun in the process! I'll share half of them today and the rest tomorrow.

First, Angela Black's swap was designed using the Making Christmas Bright Bundle from the Holiday Catalog. We punched a bunch of "petals" with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch from Wood Textures Designer Paper, then sponged with Crushed Curry ink to create the sunflowers. The sentiment from Love What You Do is stamped directly on an Wood Textures Designer Paper layer:

Cathy Lingle created her swap with Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper and the Timeless Tidings stamp set. She embellished with Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine, 5/8" Striped Burlap Trim, and a Galvanized Button, and used the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions folder on the Mossy Meadow card front.

Finally for today (there will be more swaps tomorrow!) Ruthanne Lewis created an easy little treat pouch with a 6" x 6" piece of designer series paper, then turned it into a sucker-holder simply by snipping a little hole in the bottom for the stick to go through! She used a Detailed with Love sentiment, punched with the Pretty Label Punch.

Stampin’Up! Scalloped Tag Topper Easter Treats!

Stampin’Up! Scalloped Tag Topper Easter Treats!

Hey there! I'm back again! yay! I didn't get any time to stamp today, but that's o.k. All of my kids and grandkids were here off and on all day, so it was a fun day!

As promised, I have a trio of treat holders to show you, all created with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and various other punches:

I'm so happy with the way these little babies turned out! I found inspiration for each one from MANY different sources, so assigning an original creator would be pretty much impossible.

This little lamb has Calypso Coral twine to hold her together, and the Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Folder was used for al the texture. Her nose is a Blushing Bride Candy Dot, as is the center of the cork embellishment flower. The Calypso Coral twine and the Decorative Dots folder are only available as FREE Sale-a-bration items for ONE MORE DAY ONLY – March 31!

This little chickie has a tuft of a real feather added with a glue dot (purchased at a craft store), and her beak is from one of the Boho Blossoms, cut across the flower with Paper Snips to create the top and bottom of the beak. Her little feet are also punched with the same Boho Blossom.

Finally, little Miss Bunny is punched from Baked Brown Sugar cardstock. The center of her ears and her nose are cut from the slot punched out from the top of the Tag Topper Punch!

I needed a tiny Easter Basket for Miss Bunny, so I used the vest from the Owl Punch and punched a handle with my Small Oval Punch. The "eggs" in the basket are Coastal Cabana and Soft Sky-punched with the smaller eye of the Owl Punch. If you don't have the Owl Builder Punch yet, you NEED it!

That's all for now. Remember, Monday, March 31st is the LAST DAY of Sale-a-bration, so please go to my Online Store before Midnight tonight to place your order and choose your free items! If you have been thinking of joining the Stampin' Up! demonstrator family and would also like to be a part of my group, the Yes, Mam! Stampers, you can sign up while you are there!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Halloween Owl Candy Pockets!

Stampin’ Up! Halloween Owl Candy Pockets!

Hey there! I'm back with the Halloween treat holders I promised you yesterday!

I found similar little owl pocket treat holders on several different sites, so not sure exactly who to give original credit to, but here they are!

Owls 1

Aren't they just ADORABLE???? They are super easy to make, as you can see by the whole PILE of them I made in practically no time this evening!

Here are the dimensions: 8 1/2" x 2 3/4", scored at 4 1/4. Punch each end with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. Fold on the scored line, add strong adhesive (Sticky Strip or Tear & Tape) along the long sides. Add the owl pieces and you are done1

I used Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, & Whisper White cardstock along with Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper. Punches used were the 2 1/2" Circle, 1 1/4" Scallop Circle, 1" Circle, 3/4" Circle, Small Heart, Label Bracket, and Hexagon.

I stamped images from the Holiday Catalog sets: Perfectly You Hostess Set, Tags 4 You, and Halloween Hello in Jet Black StazOn. I used Sticky Strip, SNAIL adhesive, Tombow Glue, and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here's each little guy up close:
