Stampin’ Up! Christmas Craft Fair Season is Here!

Hey there! Just wanted to make a quick post to let you know I'm still here! I've been deep in craft fair prep this week. With three fairs to prep for in the next two weeks, I've been burning the midnight oil! lol!

TOMORROW is the monthly Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop, and I've been prepping my projects for that too. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see my creation, and to hop through the rest of the gorgeous creations all twelve of us have for you! This months' theme is "Happy Holidays", and there are going to be some really awesome projects shared!

Here's a tiny sneak peek of mine:

Stampin’ Up! Peachy Keen Sneak Peek!

Stampin’ Up! Peachy Keen Sneak Peek!

Hey there! I'm switching gears for just a minute to show you a sneak peek from the upcoming Occasions 2014 Catalog. My monthly swap needs to go in the mail tomorrow, so I sat down and came up with this:

What do you think? It's my first effort using Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure products, so I don't really have my brain wrapped around it yet (not to mention my brain is still full of Christmas ideas, colors, and layouts!).

This card doesn't use a lot of bells and whistles, just plain ol' stampin' fun!

I used Baked Brown Sugar cardstock for my first two layers, texturizing the second layer with the Chevron Textured Impressions Folder. I then layered on a 1 1/2" x 4" strip of new Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper. I inked the "hello friend" stamp from Peachy Keen with Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Baked Brown Sugar, and Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Markers, overlapping the Cajun Craze on the lighter Calypso Coral for a "gradient color" effect. After breathing on the stamp to make sure the ink was well-moistened, I stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla. I then cut it out with the next-to smallest framelit from the new Banners Framelits Dies and the Big Shot.

The "ribbon" under the adhered framelit is actually from the Sale-a-bration brochure, in the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, Pool Party Twine.

I finished it off with a Pool Party Candy Dot in the lower right corner.

Inside I continued the gradient color technique using Calyspo Coral, Cajun Craze, Coastal Cabana, and Baked Brown Sugar markers.

That's all for now! You can't order any of the Occasions Catalog products yet, but the Annual Catalog and the Holiday Catalog are still in effect, as well as the Clearance Rack and Weekly Deals. Click HERE to shop!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Dinner With New Friends!

Dinner With New Friends!

Another thing I love about the Stampin' Up! Cruise is meeting new people and making new friends! After 7 Incentive Trips, 7 Conventions, and two Founder's Circle Retreats, I have made alot of new friends! About a month before Alaska I received an invitation:

I was thrilled to receive such a gorgeous invite, and was even more thrilled to find out that I had been invited, along with two other fellow demos, to dine with Pam Morgan, Vice President of Demonstrator Training, and her husband, Chris! We had a wonderful meal, got to know everyone at the table a little bit, and even had our brains picked by Pam for ideas that have been working well in our business!

The invite was made using a little Sneak Peek from the upcoming 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog, 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon! Colors used are Old Olive, Pacific Point, and Whisper White!

Here we all are:

Pam morgan

Thank you, Stampin' Up! for a wonderful trip and giving me the opportunity to spend an few hours with this fantastic group of people!

Now I must go get everything ready for my meeting tonight of my downline, the "Yes, Ma'am's!"

Hope you have a "Stampingrox!" day!
