Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July-Barnyard Babies!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July-Barnyard Babies!

Hey there! When I was looking through the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog to find ideas for my Christmas in July class I couldn't resist the Barnyard Babies set. It's full of adorable farm animal images and includes this sheep and a phrase just perfect for a little Christmas whimsy!

Stampin_up_barnyard_babies_1 - Copy

I used the Circle Card Thinlet Die so this little sheepie wouldn't get lost. The little "Santa Hat" is a stamp from the set, white embossed on Real Red card stock and cut out with Paper Snips. The tiny hearts are from the Confetti Heart Punch.

Flip over the card flap so you can say, "Fleece Navidad"!

Needless to say, there was a lot of humming and singing of "Felize Navidad" inspired by this card during class yesterday! lol!

One more day of Christmas in July starts in a few, and then later this afternoon is Oakley's birthday party. He turned TWO! yay!

Here's the supply list to create this card. You can find and order everything you need in my online store: carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July-Santa’s Gifts!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas in July-Santa’s Gifts!

Hey there! Today is the first day of my Christmas in July Class, so I thought it would be a good idea to show you another one of the cards we will be making:

Stampin_up_santa's gifts_1 - Copy

This adorable little snow birdie is from the new set, Santa's Gifts. I used one of my favorite layouts: circles, circles, and more circles!

Note: the Mossy Meadow "plaid" circle is actually embossed TWICE with the same Stylish Stripes folder, I just turned the card stock a bit before embossing a second time.

Stampin_up_santas_gifts_2 - Copy

ALL of the images used on this card are from the Santa's Gifts set. It's an easy-peasy card if you like to color a little bit, which I do. I used Stampin' Write markers.

Here's the supply list to make today's card. It's never too early to start making your Christmas cards, you know! You can order everything you need from my online store:

Stampin’ Up! Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop Christmas in July!

Stampin’ Up! Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop Christmas in July!

Hey there! It's time for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop! yay! This month's edition, Christmas in July, is a good one!

Start the hop to travel through all 13 blogs for a bit of Christmas inspiration! Just follow the links at the end of this post!

I am so happy Stampin' Up! gave us new Christmas stamps in the Annual Catalog this year! I am using several for my Christmas in July Card Buffet this weekend, but today I went out-of-the-box to use a traditionally baby set, Made with Love, and created this:

Stampin_up_made_with_love_1

Made with Love has adorable images and sentiments that are perfect for baby cards and scrap book pages, but as soon as I saw this set I wanted to make a Christmas Card with this little baby deer!

Stampin_up_made_with_love_2

Doesn't he look like a sweet little baby Rudolf? The stamp also has the words "little dear" in front of his feet, but I omitted them with tape while inking the stamp, then remembered to remove it before stamping on my paper (a very important thing to remember or you will have a smudge of ink where you want it to be nice and blank!)

I cut him and the coordinating tags behind him, with the new Tags & Labels Framelits Dies that are suggested to use with the Made with Love set.

I added in the Cherry Cobbler stars, also a stamp in the Made with Love set, and added Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to his nose and neck bow.

Now it's on to Judy Garza's blog, Stampin' With Judy G!, or you can go back to see  Stella MacKay's lovely creation on Stellar Stamps!

Stampin’ Up! White Christmas Gift Card Holder Card!

Stampin’ Up! White Christmas Gift Card Holder Card!

Hey there! I'm finally feeling better. I'm still stuffed up, but I'm taking an anitbiotic for a sinus infection, so it should clear up eventually. I even was able to venture out last night to watch my grandkids perform in their Christmas program at church! yay!

Here's a card created by Kelly Acheson from the last swap. Kelly used White Christmas and a unique construction to add a gift card holder to a traditional card:

Stampin_up_white_christmmas_1 - Copy

Very nice snowy scene. I love the tiny little bow at the end of the banner!

Stampin_up_white_christmas_2 - Copy

Inside there's a little pull-tab at the bottom to add the gift card!

Stampin_up_white_christmas_3 - Copy

The section attached to the front panel causes the inside to slide up when the card is opened so the gift card is revealed!

That's all for now! I've got a MILLION things to get done! I'm still pretty washed-out from the five-day fever, but there's so much to do, I need to be super-girl for awhile!

Here's the supply list for today's project. You can order what you need from my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’Up! Watercolor Winter Too Gift Card Holder!

Stampin’Up! Watercolor Winter Too Gift Card Holder!

Hey there. I'm still sick, so progress on EVERYTHING is slow. I called the dr. yesterday because she had said if I was still sick on Friday she would call in a Rx, and she made good her promise. Now I have an antibiotic for 10 days. I'm still running a bit of a fever. I'm tired of this, but there must be a reason, right? I just hope I am well by the time Alisa's baby arrives!

Today's project was created by Raedean Shibata for our monthly swap:

Stampin_up_watercolor_winter_too_1 - Copy

Raedean created a cute little gift card holder with Smoky Slate cardstock, All Is Calm Designer Specialty Paper, and the Letterpress Winter stamp set. She used a sentiment from the Watercolor Winter Too stamp set and used the Petite Curly Label Punch to create her closure.

Stampin_up_watercolor_winter_too_2 - Copy

The inside is folded and punched with the Word Window Punch to create the slot to slip in the gift card.

That's all I have for today. I've been sick with this since Tuesday night, so I'm just plain ol' worn out, even after a full night sleep! Can you relate?

Here's the supply list for today's project. All supplies will be available in my Online Store through January 5th.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
