Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Tuesday!

Hey there! I've been a little MIA the past week or so with Thanksgiving and some other projects on my plate, but I'm back today with a set of inspiring swaps I think you will really like!

First, an In the Pines creation by Barbara Nagle:

The vellum background was embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder for a frosty, snowy look!

Next, Merry Moose and Plaid Tidings Designer Paper created by Janet Johnson:

Poinsettia Place designer Series Paper, Poinsettia Dies, Plush Poinsettia Specialty, and a Beaded Pearl center were part of this creation by Ruth Bingle:

The front panel of this card swings open to reveal a gift card slot!

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Matchbook Gift Card Holder Card!

Hey there! I've been MIA for a few days for two reasons: last week I ran the Grammie Hotel for several of my grand-kids on various days, as well as a boarding house for my Grand-dog! I LOVE having them all here, but as you know, when you're lovin' on the grands everything else has to take the backseat! This week Vacation Bible School, (akaVBS), is in full swing at my church and I'm the Craft Director. We'll be over half done after tonight, so I'm finally able to share another creation with you!

I created this card as a graduation gift-card holder for my cousin's son, with the Come Sail Away Suite:

This card is another "matchbook" style that I turned into a gift card holder.

I used a masking technique to achieve the look of a "moon" in the background.

I cut out the "congrats" greeting with on of the Smooth Sailing Dies. The greeting banner also serves to hold the card shut. I colored Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon with my Night of Navy Light Stampin' Blend marker.

Inside the card is attached to the upper layer so it "pulls-up" when the card is opened.

I adhered a gift card inside with a couple of glue dots.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! It's Sunday, which means it's time for Sunday Swap Day! yay!

First, in honor of the little smattering of snow we had last night, I have a thank-you gift card holder created with the Snow Flurry Bundle (still available to order in the Occasions Catalog), by Rene Watson:

When open it turns into an easel-gift card holder!

Next, Kelly Acheson created this roly-poly easel thank-you with the Snow Place Bundle (also still available in the back of the Occasions Catalog):

I love his little happy face!

His "mittens" are created with punched hearts!

Carol Slack created a happy little baker/chef with punches!

His sideburns are created with a circle and the 1" square punch, and I love the little "buttons" on his shoulder!

The "cake" he has baked is actually the bottom of the cupcake punch turned upside down!

Finally, Nancy Hall put her oval punches to good use to create her black-eyed Susan!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! Busy, busy, busy weekend! We had our final Holiday Open House and Vendor Fair on Saturday, which was very well attended, and then on Sunday evening we threw the twins baby shower at church. Whew!

So today I have some cute little swaps to share!

Tamie Ackerson created this adorable little gift card holder with Merry Moments Designer Paper, Home for Christmas Designer Paper, Snow Place stamps set, and Gift Card Envelope and Trims dies:

Cindy Ewertz also used Merry Moments Designer Paper and the Gift Card Envelope and Trims dies, adding in the Oh What Fun stamp set for her creation:
