Stampin’Up! Punchy Santa!

Stampin’Up! Punchy Santa!

Hey there. I'm still not feeling good. I went to the dr and the flu test came back negative, which is great, but I didn't have anything that merited a prescription, so I'm just waiting it out. NOT a great thing to have going on when there's so much to get done with the Christmas deadline!

Today I have another swap to share, created by Tamie Ackerson:

Stampin_up_punchy_santa

Isn't he SO CUTE? Tamie used a bunch of punches and the Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack for her creation. See the list below for all the supplies to make this card.

To order, go to my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Don't forget, all online orders through December 30th will receive a kit and instructions to make two of these little guys:

Stampin’Up! Beautifully Baroque Mustache Santa!

Stampin’Up! Beautifully Baroque Mustache Santa!

Hey there! The sickness bug has struck again. It started with a sore throat, now I have a fever. Yuck. But I'd rather get it over with now before Alisa's baby arrives in just a couple of weeks.

Today's swap was created by Sherri Beyrer, who CASED it from Tina Rappe. That's how stamping and sharing works; we all share ideas with each other, which makes papercrafting that much easier and fun!

Stampin_up_beautifully_baroque_santa_1 - Copy

This jolly old elf is adorable as he is, but wait till you see what comes next!

Stampin_up_beautifully_baroque_santa_2 - Copy

He stands like an easel, but when you pull his coat and beard out from under his mustache . . .

Stampin_up_beautifully_baroque_santa_3 - Copy

He opens accordian-style! So easy to add your favorite Christmas greeting and tuck in a gift card!

You can view a gift-card-holder-version of this Santa I showed you last year HERE, that I CASED from Janet Baker. You will find dimensions that you can incorporate into today's card as part of that post.

Here's the supply list for today's sample to order in my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

That's all for now. Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees One More Time!

Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees One More Time!

Hey there. How's your day going? My day is full of errands, appointments, and a bit more Christmas shopping!

With the days till Christmas ticking down, I need to show you another November swap card. This one was created by Cindy Ewertz:

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_1 - Copy

This is a sweet little card. Cindy embossed the Naturals Ivory front with the On Point Textured Impressions Folder and then scalloped the edge with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. After she cut out the oval with one of the Ovals Collection Framelits, she pierced all around the edge of the oval with a Paper-Piercing Tool and one of the Occasions Paper-Piercing Templates.

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_2 - Copy

Cindy stamped the leafy tree from the Festival of Trees set with Old Olive ink on Old Olive cardstock, then punched with the Tree Punch. She mounted it slightly off-set  over a second tree punched from plain Old Olive cardstock. She added "lights" with Gold and Red Dazzling Details.

She finished off the tree top with a star punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Star from Gold Foil, and then added a greeting from Festival of Trees cut with a Bitty Banner framelit. She tied a tread pulled from 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon in a bow through the oval and around the card edge.

Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_3 - Copy

Another phrase from Festival of Trees and the cardinal from the same set complete the inside. A 1" wide strip of Santa & Co. Designer Series Paper adds a festive edge.

That's all for now. See the supply list below to find everything you need to make this card. Click on any image below or click HERE to order in my Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! Under the Tree and New Weekly Deals!

Stampin’ Up! Under the Tree and New Weekly Deals!

Hey there! Seems like all it's done around here is rain, gray skies, rain, gray skies, over and over. Pretty dreary, so I thought a cheery card is in order:

Stampin_up_under_the_tree - Copy

I received this card, created by Cathy Stephenson, in the November swap. Cathy's use of the 1 3/4", 1 3/8", 1 1/4", 1", and 3/4" Circle punches make this a quick and easy card!

The tree is layered on a Whisper White background  embossed with the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions folder. The stars coordinates perfectly with the patterns in the Under the Tree Specialty Paper circles.

The "merry christmas" is from the no longer available Hostess set Good Greetings, but you could easily substitute a greeting from Endless Wishes photopolymer to get the same sentiment.

A Silver Glimmer Paper star cut with one of the Star Framelits tops the tree. LOVE it!

Here's your shopping list for this card. All the items listed are available to order today in my Online Store:    www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

While you are there, check out the new Weekly Deals.

Stampin’ Up! Curvy Keepsakes Box Christmas Robin!

Stampin’ Up! Curvy Keepsakes Box Christmas Robin!

Hey there! Busy day today! Liam in the morning, and then in the evening we went to the Sesser-Valier Jr. High Basketball game to watch our oldest granddaughter, Maddie Kate, cheer! Love.That.Girl.

In between, I've been working on the projects for the December Online Christmas Class. I found this project on Pinterest, then followed the trail to Zoe Tant  from the UK's blog. After you see this adorable little birdie you will want to watch her how-to video:

Stampin_up_curvy_keepsake_robin_2 - Copy

Here's the link to her video: Zoe Tant Christmas Robin Video

I am working on an instructional hand-out to send to my Online Class participants. My class will receive a kit with all the supplies to make two of these litle guys, as well as a set of tags and giftcardholders for a total of 6.

If you would like to receive a kit and instructions to make a couple of these little robins, just place an order in my Online Store this month using this Hostess Code: NCEMYRTS (this offer will expire on December 30th)
