Stampin’ Up! Hello Beautiful!

Hey there! Today I have a fun card to share that I CASED from Australian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Gail Ellis. I found her card on Pinterest, and fell so in love with it that I pretty much copied it exactly the way she made it!

We used the Hello Beautiful Bundle with retiring Hand-Penned Designer Paper, Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder, and Genial Gems!

To stamp the greeting in the small hexagon opening, I traced the shape lightly with a pencil before stamping the phrase from Hello Beautiful. After stamping I erased the pencil lines.

After prepping the front layer, I used a LOT of dimensionals to keep the area around the greeting from collapsing.

I tied a tiny bow with Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon and secured with a glue dot. I added a sprinkle of Genial Gems around the card front for some sparkle.

I adhered the designer paper and Basic White hexagons with liquid glue, trimming the excess from the edge of the layer with Paper Snips.

I used a smaller pair of hexagons to cut more designer paper for the inside to complement the sentiment I stamped from Hello Beautiful.

I glued some of the hexagons over the card fold and then closed the card so the entire design will be visible when you open it.

Stampin’ Up! Everything In Stock for the Stamper’s Dozen!

Hey there and welcome to the March Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!

Our March theme is "Everything in Stock!", which means everything we use on our projects must be available to order. This can be tricky, because Stampin' Up! recently had to change their back order policy to "no back orders, period". Due to the global supply chain issues I'm sure you are aware of, it was just not cost effective to continue to let the back order list to grow. Instead of raising shipping prices, Stampin' Up! elected to turn off back ordering, possibly permanently. Many products will come back in stock within a few weeks, but until then they are un-orderable.

So our job today is to show you projects made with supplies that can be ordered today. I've been consulting the "Inventory Status Report" Stampin' Up! updates daily so I can create my project with all available supplies! I decided to use the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle to create my project with a new (to me) fold called the "Fold Back Pop-Up"!

I used the color combo of Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, Basic White, and Real Red to coordinate with the Flowering Fields Designer paper. I added Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for some sparkle.

I stamped and cut the tulips with the Rain Boots dies.

I used a sentiment from Hello Beautiful for the center fold.

Inside I used a sentiment from Flowering Rain Boots and the rest of the tulips and stems.

I stamped the flower pot with Crumb Cake and cut the garden rake from silver foil with a Rain Boots die.

Dimensions for the Fold Back Pop-Up card:

Pool Party base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"

Flowering Fields Designer paper #1: 2 pieces 5 1/4” x 1 7/8”
Flowering Fields Designer paper #2: 2 pieces 2”x 2” cut in half diagonally
Basic White card stock: 2 pieces 1 5/8” x 1 5/8”
Basic White card stock: 2 pieces 2 5/8” x 2 5/8”, cut 1 in half diagonally

Pear Pizzazz card stock: 2 pieces 1 3/4”x 1 3/4”
Pear Pizzazz card stock: 2 pieces 2 3/4" x 2 3/4”, score 1 on the diagonal and cut off 1” of tip parallel to score (this one is the center pop-up fold)

Stampin’ Up! Bluey for Fiona!

Hey there! Today's card could be classified as "punch art", except I didn't use any punches! I created a special "Bluey" card for my 2 year-old granddaughter, Fiona, who loves to watch the Australian hit cartoon show, "Bluey". If you aren't familiar with it then you probably don't have any littles in your family right now, but once you see it you will be hooked! It's a skillfully crafted show for young and old alike! I love to watch the love and nonsense, as well as life lessons, this show presents!

Instead of punches I used a set of dies from the January/June Mini Catalog called Beautiful Shapes!

With the addition of the ears this card will not fit in our regular medium envelopes, but if you shortened the base of the card to take the length of the ears into account you could make it fit.

Basically, I used the shapes of the dies to create the parts of the Bluey face. I had to do a little bit of snipping to create the nose and mouth, but that is all. I used a White Stampin' Chalk Marker to add the light to her eyes. I cut the letters for Fiona's name from Night of Navy card stock using Playful Alphabet dies. I added Adhesive Sheet to the back of the card stock before cutting so it would be easy to adhere to the card.

Inside I used a sentiment from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set with Night of Navy ink, then added hearts from the From All of Us stamp set ( I will show you the cards I made with that set tomorrow!) using Daffodil Delight ink.

I had fun making this "punch art" (actually "die art") for Fiona! I've been told she has been carrying it around the house this week kissing it and saying "blue"!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day January 30 – Sale-a-bration!

Hey there! Today I am back with another set of swaps, each created with at least one item from the current Sale-a-bration brochure!

First, Leslie Bumgarner used the new Cactus Cuties stamp set from the Jan/June Mini, combining it with the Hive 3D embossing folder and Friendly Hello SAB Designer paper.

This swap arrived with no name on the back, but it's a good one created with the Friendly Hello Bundle, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

Holly Sutton used Friendly Hello Designer Paper with the Hello Beautiful Bundle. (if this card looks a little bit stretched, it's because it IS. I upgraded my laptop of Windows 11 this week and now I'm sort of regretting it. NOTHING is in the same place that it was before, some features have disappeared, and I'm NOT HAPPY!)

Janice Weightman used the bright & cheery free SAB designer paper, Sunshine & Rainbows, with the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle and the Cloud Punch to make her fun card.

Cathy Miller also used the Sunshine & Rainbows free SAB paper with the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle and the Gingham embossing folder to create a "matchbook-style" card.

Laura Barto used the Special Moments SAB (free with a $100 order) stamp set with Sunshine & Rainbows SAB designer paper and the Gingham embossing folder.
