Stampin’ Up! Outlined Occasions Thanks!

Stampin’ Up! Outlined Occasions Thanks!

Sue Burton was one of the commenters for my Pop-up Card blog gift back in January. You can view that post here. I gave away several of this card to a number of commenters and Sue was a recipient of one of them. Imagine my surprise and delight to receive this in the mail yesterday:

Just beautiful! Sue used "Twitterpated" Designer Paper from the Occasions Mini and "Outlined Occasions" from the Sale-a-bration brochure to create this lovely card! But even more surpriseing was the note inside:

THANK YOU SUE! You really made my day! You inspire me to keep creating!

Until tomorrow, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!

Project for the Yes, Ma’am’s!

Good Monday Morning, Stampers!

Eight of my downline, the "Yes, Ma'am's!" met at my house yesterday afternoon for a time of stamping and sharing. To start off the stamping week right,  today I'm sharing with you the projects I prepared for them to make:

Beyond the Garden Quick Cards
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

The box (in the center) will hold the three cards with their matching envelopes and is VERY simple to make! I found the directions for the box on the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website as part of the Online Extras for the January Stampin' Success, the monthly magazine for demonstrators. Stampin' Up! provides LOTS of ideas and inspiration for their demonstrators, all we have to do is use our monthly magazine for inspiration or go to the website for more instructions! Once I made one, I was inspired to make more!

Here's the first one I made, using our "Simply Scored Scoring Tool", which was almost an exact copy of  Stampin' Up!'s version:

Original box

©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

After I made this box, I started creating cards to fit in it. I knew I wanted to use the "Mixed Bunch" stamp set from the Occasions Mini along with the Blossom Punch. After I paired this set with "Beyond the Garden" Designer Paper, I had to create a different box to match it! Funny how sometimes what you think you are going to do turns into something completely different, isn't it?

I created a tutorial for this box and cards for my downline, so today I'm sharing it with you:

Download Mixed Bunch Quick Cards and Box

The tutorial includes a supply list of all the stamps, cardstock, ink, and accessories I used to create this project. If you need to order any of these supplies, and do not have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator of your own, you are welcome to go to my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website to order:

www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Feel free to use this as you wish, for your personal creations or if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for your events. All I ask is that you do not sell it by itself online, please keep it free!

I hope to be back this afternoon with a Valentine version of this box! My "to do" list is pretty long, so we will see!

Until later, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!

Occasions Mini 2012 Sneek Peek from Founder’s Circle!

Occasions Mini 2012 Sneek Peek from Founder’s Circle!

Founder's Circle always provides us with the cutest Make & Takes! I love to get a chance to work on them during my free time. What Stampin' Up! Demonstrator wouldn't love it when someone ELSE is prepping the fun?!

This banner uses some cool "sneak peek" products from the soon-to-be-released Occasions 2012 Mini Catalog! If you have ordered from me in the past year, you should be receiving one of these in the mail near the end of December. If you don't, and it can happen, as they are shipped out Bulk Mail, then contact or see me at one of my future Stampin' Events and I will make sure you get one!

This banner uses the new "Paper Doily" Large Sizzlet Die! All I can say is, "it's simply gorgeous"! The teacup in the center of the Daffodil Delight one is from a new stamp set, "Tea Shoppe"! So sweet!

Here's another section of the banner, this time using another "Tea Shoppe" stamp, a super-big teacup, scalloped circles, and one of the doilies cut from one of the laser-cut pages from the "Flirtatious" Specialty Designer Paper pack!

That's all for today, but I'll be back again tomorrow! Until then, hope your day "Stampingrox"!

I’m a day behind!

I’m a day behind!

Here it is Friday and I just realized that I didn't post yesterday! I'm sorry! Here's the next installment from my monthly swap! (and it's just about time to mail in the February swaps, so there will be more for you to see soon!)

Here's a beautifully elegant card using the Occasions Mini set, "Blessed Mother". The phrase, "you raise kindness to an art" is from "Vintage Vogue" on page 126 of the main catalog!

"Baby Blossoms" from the Occasions Mini was used for this card. The phrase, "with sympathy", is from "Teeny Tiny Wishes" on page 157 of the main catalog.

I've been dying to show you this gorgeous card using both the "Framed Tulips" and "Manhattan Flower" Textured Impressions Folders. "With love & caring" and the butterfly is from "Thanks for Caring" and the Springtime Vintage Designer Paper is all from the Occasions Mini!

That's all for today. I'm putting the finishing touches on my "Do you need a Valentine?" Class tonight and tomorrow, and then tomorrow night my "Yes, Ma'am!" Stampers, my downline, are comint to stamp! Sunday morning will find me in the church nursery, and then Sunday afternoon I will be working on my cards for this month's swap! Lots of fun coming up! (If only I didn't have to clean my house, but hey that's what those two tall boys who still hang around here, eat my groceries, and make dirty laundry are for, eh?)

Until next time, have a "Stampingrox!" day!

A Hodge-Podge of ideas!

Today's post will be filled with bright & happy cards using Occasions Mini and Sale-a-bration sets!

First up is a  card from Cherri Gustafson using "Bring on the Cake" from the Occasions Mini, and the SAB free item, "Ice Cream Parlor" Designer Series Paper & Quick Accents Pack! Little dabs of 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the candle flames add the perfect finishing touch! She also used the "Scallop Rectangle" Clearlits Die for the Pacific Point mat behind the cake!

Jennifer Weide created this cherry card using the "Ice Cream Parlor" Designer Series free pack, and the free "Punch Bunch" stamp set! She also used the "Ice Cream Parlor" Ribbon & Buttons Pack, so most of this card was absolutely free!

This one was made quick & easy by Susie Wood using the "Bring On the Cake" Occasions Mini set and the 'Tasteful Trim" die! Susie added 1/2" Circle punched circles to give the scallop-y trim more interest! This is what's known as a "gatefold" card.

I'm back today with more Valentine ideas from Leadership!

This fun box uses the Fancy Favor Die with the Big Shot, found on pages 204 & 208 of the Idea Book & Catalog, with "Love Impressions" Specialty Designer Paper and Red Glimmer Paper from the Occasions Mini. The arrow behind the heart is a "Game Spinner Hand" found on page 10 of the Occasions Mini!

Full Heart & Small Heart punches were also used.

This card was made entirely with the "Valentine Defined" stamp set from page of the Occasions Mini. Colors used were Real Red, Whisper White, and Blushing Bride.

Valentines 7
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2011

This adorable Valentine Bear was made with the "Bear Bigz Die", "Beary Essentials Bigz Die", "Beary Girl Sizzlet Die", & the Big Shot! The Top Note Die, Square Lattice & Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folders give this card dimension. Colors used are Cherry Cobbler, Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso. The "Scalloped Heart of Hearts" Embosslit Die, Word Window punch and Teeny Tiny Wishes (happy valentine's day) were used for the greeting.

Valentines 9

Another on-stage sample from Shelli used the "Valentine Defined" stamp set! I love the way she used a cut-in-half "Decorative Label" punch to frame the tree image. You can find the Decorative Label punch, a carry-over from the Holiday MIni, on page 30 of the Occasions Mini catalog!
