Project for the Yes, Ma’am’s!

Good Monday Morning, Stampers!

Eight of my downline, the "Yes, Ma'am's!" met at my house yesterday afternoon for a time of stamping and sharing. To start off the stamping week right,  today I'm sharing with you the projects I prepared for them to make:

The box (in the center) will hold the three cards with their matching envelopes and is VERY simple to make! I found the directions for the box on the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website as part of the Online Extras for the January Stampin' Success, the monthly magazine for demonstrators. Stampin' Up! provides LOTS of ideas and inspiration for their demonstrators, all we have to do is use our monthly magazine for inspiration or go to the website for more instructions! Once I made one, I was inspired to make more!

Here's the first one I made, using our "Simply Scored Scoring Tool", which was almost an exact copy of  Stampin' Up!'s version:

After I made this box, I started creating cards to fit in it. I knew I wanted to use the "Mixed Bunch" stamp set from the Occasions Mini along with the Blossom Punch. After I paired this set with "Beyond the Garden" Designer Paper, I had to create a different box to match it! Funny how sometimes what you think you are going to do turns into something completely different, isn't it?

I created a tutorial for this box and cards for my downline, so today I'm sharing it with you:

Download Mixed Bunch Quick Cards and Box

The tutorial includes a supply list of all the stamps, cardstock, ink, and accessories I used to create this project. If you need to order any of these supplies, and do not have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator of your own, you are welcome to go to my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website to order:

www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Feel free to use this as you wish, for your personal creations or if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for your events. All I ask is that you do not sell it by itself online, please keep it free!

I hope to be back this afternoon with a Valentine version of this box! My "to do" list is pretty long, so we will see!

Until later, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!

Three More Beautiful Swaps!

Three More Beautiful Swaps!

Opening my package from my monthly swap is just like having Christmas once a month! This swap by Beth Weinstein featured the "faux tile" technique again, along with the "Medallion" background stamp and a gorgeous Antique Brad ! Just perfect!

Kathy Stephenson did a great job with the Simply Scoring Tool to make the diagonal lines behind the "Fun Flower" die cut. She also used the soon-to-be-retired-never-to-be-available-again Spice Cake Designer Series Paper behind the 3 1/2" Die Cut Circle! Lovely elegant card!

Last but not least, Nancy Hall paired the "Medallion" background stamp with "Beyond the Garden" Designer Series Paper to create this "simply wonderful" card! "you are simply wonderful" is a phrase from the "Friendly Phrases" stamp set, and the DSP rosette was scored with the Simply Scoring Tool. I hope to have a tutorial for you soon on how to make these!
