Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry Touches of Texture!

Hey there! Just a few more bleach cards left to share! Are you sick of this technique yet? I hope not! I hope you are inspired to give it a try!

For today's card I stamped bleach on Rich Razzleberry card stock and found Sweet Sugarplum!

I truly think this Sweet Sugarplum/Rich Razzleberry color combo is my favorite! Do you ever get on a "color kick"? I think I'm on this one right now! After stamping with bleach, I embossed with the new Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

We don't have Rich Razzleberry embossing powder, but you can emboss classic stamped ink when you work quickly after stamping to sprinkle with Clear embossing powder and heat.

You have a little extra time to get the clear powder on ink you've stamped on Vellum. After heating I punched with the Decorative Label Punch. I used strategically placed glue dots to adhere to the card. The sentiment is from Mixed Borders.

I tied Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Ruched Ribbon in a bow for the finishing touch.

Inside I stamped another Touches of Texture image and a sentiment from Birthday Blossoms.

Stampin’ Up! More Bleach!

Hey there! I made a quick video of how to do the bleach technique over the weekend, but it's only posted on my private Facebook group, Carol Payne's Stampers, so if you aren't a member there, you can't see it. I filmed it with my phone, but haven't figured out how to download it to my computer. Maybe I can using the tether-thingy that came with the phone, but of course, that would require FINDING the tether. I'm sure I've put it away somewhere "safe". sigh.

For this card I stamped the Touches of Texture with bleach on Mint Macaron card stock and it came out Pool Party, so that's what I used for my card base. I stamped the "sand" stamp from Touches of Texture with Mint Macaron, and added a greeting from Badges & Banners heat-embossed on Vellum and punched with the Duet Banner Punch. I tied a knot in a length of Mint Macaron 3/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon to bring it all together.

Inside I added a layer of Mint Macaron, then a layer of Whisper White that I stamped with a phrase from Picture Perfect and the bloom from the front in Mint Macaron.

Stampin’ Up! Layering Love!

Hey there! Stampin' Up! has provided so many awesome suites of products in the new catalog, I'm inspired at every turn! Today's card was a super quick and easy one to make with the Playful Palette Suite!

"Live Laugh Love" is from the Layering Love set, stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink on a Very Vanilla rectangle. I adhered it to the card with strips of Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape!

It's so easy to create a custom-embellishment with washi tape on cardstock and the Sweetheart Punch! It's added to the card front with a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals.

The font and size of the Watercolor Words set coordinate perfectly with the Layering Love sentiment, also stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. The tiny hearts are stamped with Sweet Sugarplum. This time I added strips of washi tape around the sentiment stamped directly on the Very Vanilla layer for a "faux layer" look!

Stampin’ Up! Pun Intended Love Bulb!

Hey there! I had a request for a card using the light bulb from the new Host set, Pun Intended. I decided the "sunburst" from Kinda Eclectic would be the perfect addition for the light rays!

I stamped the sunburst with Daffodil Delight on the base layer and the center of the lightbulb, which is stamped, colored with a Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write Marker, cut out, and popped up with a dimensional.

I stamped the "light-burst" on the inside too!

Cute, quick, and sweet! That's it for this card!

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Fiesta!

Hey there! I created this card for the class I have on the third Thursday of every month at the Cozy Table Restaurant in Benton, IL. I used the Birthday Fiesta Suite from the new Annual Catalog:

It's similar to the easel card I created with this suite. You can view that card HERE.

My color combo: Tempting Turquoise, Emerald Envy, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and a dash of Pumpkin Pie! The Fiesta Time Framelits Dies have a total of 11 dies to cut out the llama, the cactus, the flowers on the cactus, the blanket on the llama, and the streamer. I used the largest Lots of Labels Framelit to cut out the greeting layer.

To cut it out, first I cut once with the die close to the top of the greeting:

Then I turned the layer around and used the same edge of the die to cut around the bottom:

Inside I used a phrase from Birthday Banners and more stamps from Birthday Fiesta! I lined the envelope with another print from Festive Birthday Designer Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Borders!

Hey there! Today's card is another with the Bleach Technique. I love it when I'm playing with a technique and the ideas just keep rollin'!

For today's card I started by bleach stamping Soft Sky card stock with Touches of Texture stamps to get a Very Vanilla color. After the bleach finished developing and dried, I stamped the Definitely Dahlia Background with Versamark in the upper right corner.

I used the new Mixed Borders to stamp the Very Vanilla greeting banner that I had punched with the Banner Triple Punch. I used Basic Black Archival ink for the leaves, then stamped the greeting with Pool Party. The Mixed Borders set leaves a space within the border so you can stamp the words in it! I tied a bit of new Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine around the banner in a knot.

Hopefully you can see the Versamark-stamped Definitely Dahlia better in this picture:

Inside I stamped the dahlia again with Pool Party and used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to ink up just part of a stamp from One Big Meaning.
