Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! Another week has come and gone, and now it's time for Sunday Swap Day again! yay! Today I have an eclectic mix from three different stamp sets!

First, the name on the back of this Badges & Banners swap simply says, "Landa". She created her swap with Badges & Banners, Best Badge Punch, Duet Banner Punch, Seaside Folder, and Blooms & Bliss Designer Paper:

Next, Natalie Travis achieved a crisp look with Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Whisper white with the Badges & Banner stamp set. She also used the Best Badge Punch, Duet Banner Punch, and the birdie from the Tree Builder!

Sue Berreth used the wildly popular Seaside Shore with By the Shore Designer Paper:

Such a cute inside sentiment!

This Artistically Asian swap using Blooms & Bliss Designer Paper has no name attached.

Finally, Raedean Shibata also used Artistically Asian, stamping the bamboo shoots on Watercolor Paper. She used two prints from Moroccan Designer Paper, adding Clear Wink of Stella highlights to the focal image.

Stampin’ Up! More Bleach!

Hey there! I made a quick video of how to do the bleach technique over the weekend, but it's only posted on my private Facebook group, Carol Payne's Stampers, so if you aren't a member there, you can't see it. I filmed it with my phone, but haven't figured out how to download it to my computer. Maybe I can using the tether-thingy that came with the phone, but of course, that would require FINDING the tether. I'm sure I've put it away somewhere "safe". sigh.

For this card I stamped the Touches of Texture with bleach on Mint Macaron card stock and it came out Pool Party, so that's what I used for my card base. I stamped the "sand" stamp from Touches of Texture with Mint Macaron, and added a greeting from Badges & Banners heat-embossed on Vellum and punched with the Duet Banner Punch. I tied a knot in a length of Mint Macaron 3/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon to bring it all together.

Inside I added a layer of Mint Macaron, then a layer of Whisper White that I stamped with a phrase from Picture Perfect and the bloom from the front in Mint Macaron.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Petals Badges & Banners!

Hey there! Today I have the third card I created using the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack!

I combined retiring Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper with current Mint Macaron, Basic Black, and Very Vanilla card stocks, Calypso Coral ink, Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Gold Metallic Thread, and NEW SNEAK PEEK Badges & Banners stamp set!

Oh, and another Sneak Peek: the curvy banner ends peeking out from behind the "enjoy your day" badge are punched with the new Duet Banner punch!

I wanted the "badge" to have a little more pop, so I stamped with Calypso Coral on Very Vanilla, quickly sprinkled with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, and heated with my Heat Tool. After hand-cutting it out (after June 1st I will be ordering the new Best Badge Punch to take on this task for me!) I popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals and added a Basic Black Duet Banner behind it.

Inside I flanked a greeting from Greatest Greetings with strips of Pretty Petals Designer Paper. I also lined my envelope with Pretty Petals DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Petals

Hey there! Today I have the second of the three cards I created a few days ago using the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack!

I used a sentiment from the new catalog Badges & Banners set for my greeting!

After stamping the greeting with Archival Basic Black ink, I quickly sprinkled Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder and heated with my Heat Tool. I stamped the same image on Basic Black, then cut both out with Paper Snips (when the new catalog starts on June 1st there is a Best Badge punch that will be bundled with the Badges & Banners set). I cut the black badge in half, then added it to the back of the sentiment badge, leaving about an 1/8 of an inch open in the middle so the black badge peeks out above and below the sentiment.

Inside I stamped "happy" from Endless Birthday Wishes and "Birthday" from Marquee Messages. I also added Calypso Coral tiny blossoms and Old Olive leaves, both from the new Love & Affection set.

Stampin’ Up! NEW Badges & Banners!

Hey there! I'm at Liam & Darcy's this morning! I had planned to blog the final card for my #imbringingbirthdaysback Birthday Card Class, but I left my camera disc with pictures at home. Thankfully I had today's card already on my laptop:

I used NEW Sweet Sugarplum, Playful Palette Designer Paper Stack, Squares Layering Framelits, and Duet Banner Punch!

Old combined with NEW! I embossed the Sweet Sugarplum layer and Very Vanilla square with the Fluttering Embossing Folder. I cut two Basic Black butterflies with a Bold Butterflies framelit. I painted the top butterfly with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, and rubbed new Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine on the Sweet Sugarplum ink pad.

Inside I stamped with the carrying-over Friendly Wishes and framed it with Playful Palette Washi Tape. Easy-peasy!
