Stampin’ Up! Baby Cards Alaska Cruise Swaps!

The colors on this card make it appropriate for either sex. Better Together images are paired with Stitched Labels and Glitter Enamel Dots.

A watercolored background with layers for Little Elephant, punched with the Elephant Builder.

Touches of Texture on the Balmy Blue background of this Little Elephant card are a nice touch!

Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape for a feminine Little Elephant creation!

Blackberry Bliss, Soft Seafoam, Blushing Bride, Lemon Lime Twist, and Whisper White! The Softly Falling folder embossed the Soft Seafoam background.

Little Twinkle, Twinkle Builder Punch, Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, and the Maps, Etc. Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder:

A completely different look with Little Twinkle and Twinkle Twinkle Designer Paper. The doily-like mat for the constellation heart was cut with a Spot of Tea Framelit.

Stampin’ Up! Touches of Texture Mini Easel!

Hey there! While I was playing with the Touches of Texture I decided to make a mini-easel card. I'm trying to use up some of my retiring colors stash, so I pulled out Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder:

I colored the blooms and stems with Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers. The splatters are an image from Touches of Texture. I added touches of Clear Wink of Stella to the blooms for some shine.

I used sentiments from Beautiful Bouquet and a framelit from the Bouquet Bunch framelits. These two are bundled right now to save you 10% but won't be when the new catalog goes live on June 1st.

This Beautiful Bouquet sentiment works for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries; very versatile!

Stampin’ Up! Touches of Texture!

Hey there! Today I have a completely new and different creation to share with you! I wanted a card that was bright and used a set I haven't used often enough, so I pulled out Touches of Texture and started playing!

I started with a Basic Black card base and then added a layer of Lemon Lime Twist from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack. This paper is retiring but not sold out yet, so you can still order it today!

I stamped a Touches of Texture bloom with Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach ink, then rubbed the blooms with my Embossing Buddy before stamping the centers with Versamark and heat embossing with black powder, which is returning in the new Annual Catalog. I positioned the Layering Oval framelit on the stamped images, holding in place with washi tape before flipping over with the cutting edge facing up to crank through the Big Shot.

I centered the bloom piece inside an opening cut with a scalloped oval from the Layering Oval Framelits. I punched the corners of the Basic Black layer with the Detailed Trio Punch.

I used both the peek-through leaf and the corner rounder of the Detailed Trio Punch on the greeting banner and added a rhinestone for a little bit of bling.

The outside and inside sentiments are from the Beautiful Bouquet set.

Stampin’ Up! Touches of Texture!

I centered the bloom piece inside an opening cut with a scalloped oval from the Layering Oval Framelits. I punched the corners of the Basic Black layer with the Detailed Trio Punch.

I used both the peek-through leaf and the corner rounder of the Detailed Trio Punch on the greeting banner and added a rhinestone for a little bit of bling.

The outside and inside sentiments are from the Beautiful Bouquet set.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Tuesday with Southern Serenade!

Hey there! Next Saturday I'll be presenting at a Stampin' Up! OnStage event in Atlanta, Georgia! Exciting, nerve-wracking, and LOTS of samples to prep! I'm working on my display samples, so I'm sharing more swaps today. (Don't worry, you WILL get to see my OnStage samples AFTER the event. I am bound by a Stampin' Up! Confidentiality Rules for now)

I don't own Southern Serenade from the Occasions Catalog, so I was happy to get a few samples to share!

First, an anonymous stamper spongeed Crumb Cake through an oval mask before stamping the blooms and coloring with Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive Stampin' Blends. The greeting is from the Annual Catalog set, Better Together.

Next, Cathy Miller used a Flourishing Phrases greeting with Marina Mist and Very Vanilla, embossing a strip of Marina Mist with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Folder and adding touches of silver accent:

The lace background stamped in Marina Mist is also from Southern Serenade!

Stampin’ Up! Touches of Texture!

Hey there! Today's card is another one we are making at the Bloomin' Birthday Card Class today. Originally a swap from Wendy Lee, I added a few touches of my own to offer this card to my stampers:

This card is just so overall lovely there really wasn't much that I wanted to change! Touches of Texture is such a soft, vintage-y set, but without the vintage images you might expect to see. Just lots of soft flowers, speckles, and lace-ish stamps!

We use Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum with Whisper White and mat layers of Sahara Sand. The Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Folder adds tactile dimension that goes perfectly with the delicate Touches of Texture images.

Sweet Sugarplum ribbon and a greeting from Happy Happenings, punched with the Classic Label Punch, are perfect finishing touches!

A sentiment from Butterfly Basics, the dragonfly from Touches of Texture, and Sahara Sand stamped speckles finish off the inside. I covered the envelope flap with another print from Blooms & Bliss.

Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry Touches of Texture!

Hey there! Just a few more bleach cards left to share! Are you sick of this technique yet? I hope not! I hope you are inspired to give it a try!

For today's card I stamped bleach on Rich Razzleberry card stock and found Sweet Sugarplum!

I truly think this Sweet Sugarplum/Rich Razzleberry color combo is my favorite! Do you ever get on a "color kick"? I think I'm on this one right now! After stamping with bleach, I embossed with the new Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

We don't have Rich Razzleberry embossing powder, but you can emboss classic stamped ink when you work quickly after stamping to sprinkle with Clear embossing powder and heat.

You have a little extra time to get the clear powder on ink you've stamped on Vellum. After heating I punched with the Decorative Label Punch. I used strategically placed glue dots to adhere to the card. The sentiment is from Mixed Borders.

I tied Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Ruched Ribbon in a bow for the finishing touch.

Inside I stamped another Touches of Texture image and a sentiment from Birthday Blossoms.
