Stampin’ Up! Pop of Paradise Triple Time!

Hey there! I've had requests for more Pop of Paradise cards, so I pulled out this set to play with again. I love the Triple Time Stamping technique, so I created this with a Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, and Emerald Envy color palette:

The dimensions for the three Whisper White layers that are layered directly on each other (and are very lightly adhered with just a bit of SNAIL between the layers) to do the stamping are as follows:

Bottom layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

Middle layer: 3" x 4 1/4"

Top layer: 2" x 3 1/4"

After you are done stamping, you take the three stamped layers apart and add these Flirty Flamingo layers between the stamped layers:

Card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Middle layer: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

Top layer: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"

I used Flirty Flamingo 3/8" Ruched Ribbon and cut the greeting with a Layering Ovals Framelit. I backed the greeting with a Flirty Flamingo layer cut with a scalloped Layering Ovals Framelit. I added a couple of Rhinestones Basic Jewels for a little bit of bling.

The inside greeting is from Better Together. That set is coming in handy with it's 19 different phrases!

Stampin’ Up! Colorblocked Wetlands!

Hey there! Colorblocking is a fun technique! I created a sunset!

Starting with a Calypso Coral base, I layered on Peekaboo Peach. For the colorblocking, I started with Calypso Coral, then Peekaboo Peach and So Saffron. I stamped the Kinda Eclectic sunburst with Versamark before adding Pool Party and Tip Top Taupe.

I stamped the birdies before I embossed with the Seaside folder.

I stamped "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" with Thoughtful Banners (pg 73) and Basic Gray Archival ink. I punched with the Classic Label Punch.

Inside a phrase from Suite Sayings:

My next creation was heat embossed with Copper powder!

I sponged the edges with Tip Top Taupe for more depth.

Again, all stamping and heat-embossing MUST be done BEFORE dry embossing with the Big Shot!

Another sentiment from Suite Sayings:

Island Indigo is the card base here and the only sentiment from Kinda Eclectic:

I added a single So Saffron star from the Regals Enamel Shapes to the Banner Triple punched greeting.

Suite Sayings again inside. I sponged the tips of the sun rays with Calypso Coral ink before stamping.

Stampin’ Up! Colorblocked Wetlands!

Hey there! Colorblocking is a fun technique! I created a sunset!

I stamped the birdies before I embossed with the Seaside folder.

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Fiesta Again!

Hey there! I've been working on my Birthday Fiesta Card Class scheduled in a few weeks, so I had to make another card with the Birthday Fiesta set!

I decided to use the color-blocking technique that I'm loving right now. It's a great way to show off several prints in the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper!

I LOVE the Festive Textured Impressions folder, so after I adhered the designer paper to the black layer I ran it all through the Big Shot.

After stamping the greeting and cutting out with an Layering Ovals Die, I decided to add a llama to "peek" up around the words, so I stamped him with Crumb Cake ink. I layered this onto a scalloped black oval, also cut with a Layering Ovals Die, then I pierced every scallop with my Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat.

Since I don't speak Spanish I wasn't familiar with the word "manana", but instinct told me it meant "tomorrow", and I was right! So "Fiesta like there's no tomorrow (manana)" makes sense for a birthday greeting, doesn't it?!

I couldn't resist the llama peeking again! I love him!

Stampin’ Up! Serene Scenery Wetlands!

Hey there! I do a lot of blog-hopping, Pinterest-searching, and Facebook-looking sometimes, which can be a time-sucker. But I often find great inspiration, like this idea to use Serene Scenery Designer Paper with the Wetlands birdies! Here's my version:

I used a Tip Top Taupe card base, adding Soft Sky with Serene Scenery on the left. I stamped sea grass and shore birds with Basic Gray ink BEFORE embossing with the Seaside Textured Impressions Folder. All stamping must be done BEFORE texture is added!

Wetlands is not new, but I use it when I need a calming card. Linen Thread blends with these soothing colors. I LOVE that the birdie stamp includes their reflections!

Suite Sayings inside:

After my bleach obsession ended, I've now become intrigued with color blocking!

Crumb Cake at the bottom, followed by strips of Tip Top Taupe, Soft Sky, Pool Party, and Island Indigo, adhered to a 3 3/4" x 5" layer of Whisper White. After stamping the birds, embossing with the Seaside folder and lightly sponging with Tip Top Taupe, I adhered to Tip Top Taupe then to an Island Indigo card base.

I stamped the greeting on a 1" x 3 1/2" strip of Soft Sky, punched with the Banner Triple Punch, sponged with Tip Top Taupe, wrapping Linen Thread 6 times before tying in a knot.

A perfect sentiment from Suite Sayings!

I stamped the greeting on a 1" x 3 1/2" strip of Soft Sky, punched with the Banner Triple Punch, sponged with Tip Top Taupe, wrapping Linen Thread 6 times before tying in a knot.

Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry Touches of Texture!

Hey there! Just a few more bleach cards left to share! Are you sick of this technique yet? I hope not! I hope you are inspired to give it a try!

For today's card I stamped bleach on Rich Razzleberry card stock and found Sweet Sugarplum!

I truly think this Sweet Sugarplum/Rich Razzleberry color combo is my favorite! Do you ever get on a "color kick"? I think I'm on this one right now! After stamping with bleach, I embossed with the new Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

We don't have Rich Razzleberry embossing powder, but you can emboss classic stamped ink when you work quickly after stamping to sprinkle with Clear embossing powder and heat.

You have a little extra time to get the clear powder on ink you've stamped on Vellum. After heating I punched with the Decorative Label Punch. I used strategically placed glue dots to adhere to the card. The sentiment is from Mixed Borders.

I tied Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Ruched Ribbon in a bow for the finishing touch.

Inside I stamped another Touches of Texture image and a sentiment from Birthday Blossoms.
