Stampin’ Up! Fresh Fruit Flowers!

Hey there! I created a few more cards with the Fresh Fruit set that didn't make the cut for the July Online Class. Today's card uses the flower print from the Fruit Stand Designer Paper and the flower stamps from the set:

I used the "window fold" layout that I used for Mark's Father's Day card. It's such a fun layout!

I cut the Happy Birthday greeting and mat layers with a Bunch of Banners Framelit.

I used Flirty Flamingo, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, and Chocolate Chip to stamp the flowers and leaves.

The possibilities for this layout are easy and endless!

When I created the Irresistibly Floral/Flourishing Phrases card I showed you yesterday I also created this one with the same layout and stamps, but a different color composition:

Soft Sky card base, white heat-embossed with "JUST A Note" from Flourishing Phrases, layered with Irresistibly Floral Specialty that I sponge-brayered Soft Sky, and then blended in toward the bottom with Bermuda Bay.

The above picture shows the gradation of color better before I added the Flirty Flamingo flower with dimensionals to anchor the Wild Wasabi leaves.

Stampin’ Up! Irresistibly Floral for Birthday Fiesta and Bonus Days Start Tomorrow!

Hey there! I needed on more card for my Birthday Fiesta Class, so I brayered a strip of Irresistibly Floral Specialty paper to create this!

I white heat-emboosed the "hello" from Flourishing Phrases in the lower right corner. I brayered with Blushing Bride first, then adding Watermelon Wonder.

Pear Pizzazz leaves cut with Flourish Thinlets.

I inked the flower first with Pool Party, then "rock n' rolled" in Bermuda Bay.

There is a flower framelit in the Flourish Thinlets, but it doesn't cut the stamped flower. I hand-cut it, leaving a thin border of white so you don't notice cutting imperfections.

I added the flower with dimensionals to anchor both the leaves and the flower.

A Better Together sentiment finishes the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Fresh Fruit for the July Online Class!

Hey there! We had a really nice 4th of July weekend with lots of family and of course fireworks! Today's card you've already seen at the bottom of my posts since July 1, but with more details today:

I used the Fresh Fruit set with Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper, cutting paper in 1/2" and 3/4" strips for the background, and adding a strip of Watermelon Wonder card stock embossed the the Sparkle Folder and a Peekaboo Peach strip punched with the Banner Triple Punch.

I stamped the pear in the center first, then covered it with a mask of the same image cut from a Post-it Note before stamping the Watermelon Wonder strawberry and the Peekaboo Peach peach on each side.

I tied Basic Black Baker's Twine in a bow around the layer and added a snippet of a doily for a little more zip!

I stamped the greeting on the front and inside with Soft Suede. Doesn't the strawberry and the peach look just yummy enough to eat?

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! It's time for Sunday Swap Day again! yay! I hope you've been enjoying this lovely 4th of July weekend. I have had a dear friend and sister-in-law visiting since Friday evening. We've cooked, shopped, laughed, and enjoyed fireworks together. I will be sad to see her leave this afternoon.

This swap created with Wild About Flowers arrived with no name attached, but I love the Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White color combo with Pear Pizzazz for the stems and Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Ruched Ribbon!

Stampin’ Up! Pop of Paradise Triple Time!

Hey there! I've had requests for more Pop of Paradise cards, so I pulled out this set to play with again. I love the Triple Time Stamping technique, so I created this with a Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, and Emerald Envy color palette:

The dimensions for the three Whisper White layers that are layered directly on each other (and are very lightly adhered with just a bit of SNAIL between the layers) to do the stamping are as follows:

Bottom layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

Middle layer: 3" x 4 1/4"

Top layer: 2" x 3 1/4"

After you are done stamping, you take the three stamped layers apart and add these Flirty Flamingo layers between the stamped layers:

Card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Middle layer: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

Top layer: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"

I used Flirty Flamingo 3/8" Ruched Ribbon and cut the greeting with a Layering Ovals Framelit. I backed the greeting with a Flirty Flamingo layer cut with a scalloped Layering Ovals Framelit. I added a couple of Rhinestones Basic Jewels for a little bit of bling.

The inside greeting is from Better Together. That set is coming in handy with it's 19 different phrases!
