Stampin’ Up! Birthday Blooms Fun Fold By Becky!

Hey there! Today's card was created by my dear friend and downline, Becky Anderson. Last month Becky moved from Illinois to Arizona, but she mailed an entry to our Fun Fold card challenge at the Yes Mam! Monthly Inspiration Meeting in April:

I don't know what this fold is called but it shows off both sides of this print from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper (retiring) beautifully!

For the belly band Becky used the Birthday Blooms stamp set, which is carrying over to the new catalog, adding Blushing Bride blooms punched with one of the Itty Bitty Accents punches (retiring). She embellished with pearls, Mint Macaron It's My Party Enamel Dots (retiring), and a bit of Mint Macaron 1" Dotted Lace Trim (retiring).

Even without the belly-band, the fold is designed be self-holding. Ingenious!

Opened, there's room for the stamped greeting from Birthday Blooms and plenty more for a personal message and signature.

This card was a close 2nd to the winning entry I showed you a few days ago by Joanne Cantrell!

Stampin’ Up! Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop May Edition, Masculine May!

Hey there! It's time for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop! Our theme is "Masculine May"!

For my manly creation I used the Hardwood Background, Traveler, Timeless Textures, Friendly Wishes, and Happy Happenings. ALL are carrying over to the new catalog! yay!

I used three of the 6 vintage images from Traveler, and used a color palette of Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla.

I used the new Annual Catalog Layering Squares Framelits to cut all of the layers around the train, globe, and steamship. These framelits, along with new Circles, Ovals, and Hearts, are going to be must-haves when the new catalog premieres on June 1st!

I stamped "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from Happy Happenings with Early Espresso, then stamped over with stamped-off Crumb Cake using the cross-hatch stamp in Timeless Textures. I cut the banner around it with the banner die from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets.

I used the cross-hatch background for all of the vintage images.

Inside I went a little crazy with cross-hatch stamping, but it made a great background for the sentiment from Friendly Wishes!

Stampin’ Up! Love & Affection by Joanne!

Hey there! I have just a quick post this morning. I have my #imbringingbirthdaysback Birthday Card Class this afternoon and I need to get a couple of cards in the mail today before the P.O. closes. They are only open for about 30 seconds on Saturday mornings, so I have to move quick!

The project I have for you today was created by my downline, Joanne Cantrell, for our April Mam's Team Inspiration meeting. We have a challenge every month. Everyone votes for their favorite from the submitted samples. Joanne has won the challenge two months in a row! Here's her winning April entry:

Joanne combined old and Sneak Peek products to create a really stunning card!

She used retiring Mint Macaron 1" Dotted Trim and pearls from the retiring Artisan Embellishment Kit with new Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper and Love & Affection stamps. She printed a template on the back of the designer paper to fold the skirt and to cut the bodice. I don't have the link she used, but I will try to find it and add it later.

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bouquet Big News!

Hey there! I finally downloaded the final card for the #imbringingbirthdaysback Birthday Card Class! I've eliminated the Friday night class (tonight), kept the Saturday class (1-5 p.m.), and added a Monday night (16th) class (5-9 p.m.)

Today's card uses the diagonal slash card layout again:

Retiring items used: Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper, Big News stamp set, Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon, Iced Rhinestones, and Lost Lagoon card stock and ink.

Non-retiring: Flower Shop stamp set, Whisper White card stock, White Vellum card stock, clear embossing powder, Pansy Punch, Stampin' Trimmer, and Heat Tool.

Lost Lagoon just about a tie in my "Most Beloved In Colors", right up there with Blackberry Bliss!

DID YOU KNOW??? Classic ink doesn't dry on vellum card stock, so you can sprinkle with Clear embossing powder and heat emboss! I used this technique with Lost Lagoon ink and clear powder on vellum, heated, then punched with the Pansy Punch. I layered onto a Lost Lagoon-stamped pansy for more dimension, adding the Iced Rhinestone with an extra glue dot to secure on the slickness of the embossing.

Inside I used simple Lost Lagoon ink on white. I lined the envelope with another Birthday Bouquet print.

Stampin’ Up! NEW Badges & Banners!

Hey there! I'm at Liam & Darcy's this morning! I had planned to blog the final card for my #imbringingbirthdaysback Birthday Card Class, but I left my camera disc with pictures at home. Thankfully I had today's card already on my laptop:

I used NEW Sweet Sugarplum, Playful Palette Designer Paper Stack, Squares Layering Framelits, and Duet Banner Punch!

Old combined with NEW! I embossed the Sweet Sugarplum layer and Very Vanilla square with the Fluttering Embossing Folder. I cut two Basic Black butterflies with a Bold Butterflies framelit. I painted the top butterfly with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, and rubbed new Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine on the Sweet Sugarplum ink pad.

"A LITTLE hello" is from the new Badges & Banners from the New Annual Catalog, punched with the new Duet Banner Punch!

Inside I stamped with the carrying-over Friendly Wishes and framed it with Playful Palette Washi Tape. Easy-peasy!

Stampin’ Up! Owl Builder Minions For #imbringingbirthdaysback!

Hey there! I made a minion card! I've seen several versions online, so I made one of my own! We will be making this one at my #imbringingbirthdaysback Birthday Card Class this weekend!

Of course, you can't hardy ever do a punch art project without using the Owl Builder Punch!

Minions just make me smile!
