Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day December 19!

Hey there! Today I have a group of gift card holders to share with you! This is my last Sunday Swap Day for 2021, but don't worry, I will be back on Sunday, January 2nd with a brand new crop of swaps to share!

Note: a few of the products used to create these swaps, offered in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog have now sold out. I will note these products with a (R) after them.

First, Carol Slack used the Be Jolly (R) stamp set with a sentiment from Christmas to Remember to create her gift card holder swap.

Next, Linda Pagel used Encircled in Warmth from the Holiday Catalog with Whimsy & Wonder (R) Specialty Paper for her swap creation.

Inside she created a simple folded pocket for the gift card with the opening accented with a partial punch with the Label Me Lovely Punch.

Laura Barto used a variety of punches, including the Sprig, Detailed Trio, and Starlit (which will appear in next year's Holiday Mini), to create her snowman gift card holder.

Ruth Bingle used the Pine Tree Punch with Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper, both from the Annual Catalog, to create her pretty card/gift card holder.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Center Easel-fold!

Hey there! Today's card is another birthday card I created for another son who had a birthday in November. I used the same center easel-fold I used previously, but I used an Early Espresso/Very Vanilla color combo and the Biggest Wish photopolymer stamp set.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiments from Biggest Wish with Early Espresso ink several times (I think at least 4 times for each word). I stamped it on the Cork Specialty paper that is retiring from the Holiday Mini Catalog but has not yet sold out (at least it hadn't when I checked before writing this blog post). I added a Bumblebee Trinket with a Mini Glue Dot for an added special touch.

I stamped the largest circle image from Watercolor Shapes with Crumb Cake ink on the Very Vanilla inside layer before stamping a sentiment from Sunny Sentiments. I added a 1/2" wide strip of Early Espresso card stock with a row of Stampin' Dimensionals to create the "easel stop".

Stampin’ Up! Last Chance Products List and a Clearance Rack Refresh Starts Today!

Hey there! I know I've been AWOL for awhile, but I do have some good things in the works that are just not quite ready to share yet! Last week I was prepping for our family Thanksgiving when I suddenly became ill with a tummy bug on Wednesday evening which knocked me down for the rest of the weekend. Hey there! Yesterday I went Christmas shopping with my daughters, daughter-in-law, and my two oldest granddaughters in Evansville, IN, so no blogging, but today is Sunday, so of course it's time for Sunday Swap Day!

First, Cathy Miller created her swap with the Be Jolly stamp set and Wintry 3D embossing folders.

The inside is a fun pull-up gift card holder!

Next, Karen Kurz used the Banner Year and Festive Foliage stamp sets with the Give It A Whirl dies.

She put fun in each turn of the window!

"Guess Who Loves You?" is also found in Banner Year.

This stamp set is filled with 29 individual images, including this greeting and the tiny Santa hat!

Kathy Morgan used the Tidings and Trimmings bundle with Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Finally, Meg Holland used the Peaceful Cabin Bundle with Cork Specialty and Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Wreath!

Hey there! Today I have a pretty snowflake card I CASE'd from myself! I CASE'd my Stampers Dozen Blog Hop card HERE to turn it into a Christmas card!

I used the Pearlescent Specialty paper from the Annual Catalog to stamp the snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set with stamped-off-once Misty Moonlight ink. After stamping I then embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder. The Pearlescent paper is so much more shimmery in real life, this picture simply doesn't do it justice!

I cut the wreath with three different layers: vellum on the bottom, Silver Foil Specialty in the middle, and Misty Moonlight on the top. I adhered each with tiny dots of liquid glue.I tied a bit of 1 1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon, also found in the Annual Catalog, into a perky bow and added it with a glue dot.

I heat embossed the greeting from For Unto Us onto Misty Moonlight card stock, then double-punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch to get the smaller label. I also accented the card front with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Here's how I double-punched the greeting label. I only partially punched the embossed greeting once as shown here:

Then I attached a post-it-note to the punched piece to re-insert into the punch to punch the other side.

I used a sentiment from Snowflake Wishes on the inside and added a layer of Silver Foil behind it.

Here's a paper-saving tip! Cut the Silver Foil wreath layer out of the center of the inside foil layer before adhering to the inside of the card. After you add the stamped Very Vanilla layer (which coordinates with the creaminess of the Pearlescent Specialty paper better than Basic White) over it no one will ever know!
