Stampin’ Up! Hello My Ladybug Friend!

Hey there! Today I have a cheery card I created for a private class this weekend with the Hello Ladybug Bundle of stamps and punch. I chose Real Red, Basic Black, Basic White, and Pool Party for my color palette.

I stamped the daisy image from Hello Ladybug (which also can be punched with the Medium Daisy Punch) in Pool Party and the greeting in Real Red before embossing the layer with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder. I added a Bumblebee Trinket just for fun!

Inside I continued the daisy/Pool Party/Real Red theme. I also used the two-step ladybug images to add the cheery ladybug on the envelope.

I love how cute this card turned out! I hope my class likes it as much as I do!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Wreath!

Hey there! Today I have a pretty snowflake card I CASE'd from myself! I CASE'd my Stampers Dozen Blog Hop card HERE to turn it into a Christmas card!

I used the Pearlescent Specialty paper from the Annual Catalog to stamp the snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set with stamped-off-once Misty Moonlight ink. After stamping I then embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder. The Pearlescent paper is so much more shimmery in real life, this picture simply doesn't do it justice!

I cut the wreath with three different layers: vellum on the bottom, Silver Foil Specialty in the middle, and Misty Moonlight on the top. I adhered each with tiny dots of liquid glue.I tied a bit of 1 1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon, also found in the Annual Catalog, into a perky bow and added it with a glue dot.

I heat embossed the greeting from For Unto Us onto Misty Moonlight card stock, then double-punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch to get the smaller label. I also accented the card front with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Here's how I double-punched the greeting label. I only partially punched the embossed greeting once as shown here:

Then I attached a post-it-note to the punched piece to re-insert into the punch to punch the other side.

I used a sentiment from Snowflake Wishes on the inside and added a layer of Silver Foil behind it.

Here's a paper-saving tip! Cut the Silver Foil wreath layer out of the center of the inside foil layer before adhering to the inside of the card. After you add the stamped Very Vanilla layer (which coordinates with the creaminess of the Pearlescent Specialty paper better than Basic White) over it no one will ever know!

Stampin’ Up! Grateful Thanksgiving!

Hey there! It's time for the November Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!

Our November theme is Grateful Thanksgiving! I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

For my project I decided to create a Thanksgiving wreath card with the Sparkle of the Season Bundle!

I started with a Soft Suede card base, then stamped a Crumb Cake layer with Gorgeous Leaves and Crumb Cake ink. I then embossed the layer with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder.

Here's the layer before embossing:

And after:

I cut the wreath layers from Mossy Meadow, Cinnamon Cider, and Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.

I love the subtle sparkle of the Rose Gold Metallic paper!

I accented the card with a few Gilded Gems and stamped a Sparkle of the Season sentiment with Cajun Craze ink before cutting with a Tasteful Labels die.

Inside I stamped the same leaves on the Crumb Cake sentiment layer, then stamped another Sparkle of the Season sentiment with Cajun Craze ink.

Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet!

Hey there! Over the weekend I played with the new Wrapped Bouquet bundle a little bit and came up with this card that I think will be my swap this month too!

Starting with a card base of So Saffron, I embossed a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" panel of the same color with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder, attaching to the front with liquid glue.

I cut a layer of Fine Art Floral Designer paper with a Stitched Rectangle Die to showcase the bouquet and wrap. The Wrapped Flowers Dies cut out the bouquet, greenery, the "newspaper" wrap, and tag.

I added a bow tied with a bit of Blushing Bride twine.

All of the images used are from the Wrapped Bouquet Dies.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day October 25th!

Hey there! It's Sunday again, which of course means it's time to share some more swaps! I decided I had better finish sharing the fall-themed swaps I have before I go full-on Christmas for a few Sundays! October is almost over, can you believe it? October is my favorite month of the year, and although this year it was cool, rainy, and dreary most of the month, I still love October!

First, Ami Wilson combined a sentiment from Love of Leaves with the Beautiful Autumn Bundle (stamps and punches) with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder, Painted Labels Dies, Brushed Metallic Copper, and Basket Weave & Metallic (copper) Combo Pack! Mint Macaron, Early Espresso, and Whisper White is her color combo!

Kathy Morgan used a similar color combo, adding in a splash of Cajun Craze, to her Beautiful Autumn/Gathered Leaves card:
