Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Another Sneak Peek!

Hey there! Today I have another Nature's Prints Sneak Peek; this time with the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper that is also in the suite with it!

For this card I used Gray Granite and Basic White again, but added in Starry Sky card stock to match the Starry Sky-stamped fern that is my focal image.

Before I stamped the fern I used the large rectangle image from Watercolor Shapes to stamp a background with Gray Granite ink.

I stamped the greeting from Nature's Prints with Starry Sky on Basic White, then cut with the label from the Nature's Prints dies. I colored the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a Dark Starry Sky Stampin' Blends and tied a bit of Starry Sky 1/8" Metallic Ribbon for some sparkle.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Nature's Prints.

Stampin’ Up! Friends of the Forest!

Hey there! I finally decided it was time I put the Friends of the Forest stamp set to good use! I tend to buy so many stamp sets that I love from each catalog that it is hard sometimes to get around to playing with them all!

For my card today I combined Friends of the Forest with Watercolor Shapes. I stamped the tree with Pear Pizzazz ink, then instead of coloring each leaf with a Stampin' Write Marker or Stampin' Blend, I inked the long rectangle image from Watercolor Shapes with Pear Pizzazz, stamped-off once, then stamped behind the tree.

I stamped the birdie with Balmy Blue ink on the tree branch, then stamped the birdie again with Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap of Basic White. After I colored with a Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend, I cut him out with Paper Snips, darkened his eye with the nib tip of a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, and then used tiny dots of glue to adhere over the stamped birdie.

The deer was much easier than the birdie! After stamping with Crumb Cake ink and coloring with a Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend, I darkened the eye, nose, and back markings with the same Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I didn't have to use paper snips to cut him out, there's a Deer Builder Punch for that!

This sentiment is included in the Friends of the Forest set!

I created the background layer for the front and inside with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and swiping one side of the folder with Balmy Blue ink before running it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. The inside sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set which is carrying-over to the new Annual catalog.

Friends of the Forest is not carrying over, so you need to order it before the January/June Mini Catalog ends on June 30th!

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Center Easel-fold!

Hey there! Today's card is another birthday card I created for another son who had a birthday in November. I used the same center easel-fold I used previously, but I used an Early Espresso/Very Vanilla color combo and the Biggest Wish photopolymer stamp set.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiments from Biggest Wish with Early Espresso ink several times (I think at least 4 times for each word). I stamped it on the Cork Specialty paper that is retiring from the Holiday Mini Catalog but has not yet sold out (at least it hadn't when I checked before writing this blog post). I added a Bumblebee Trinket with a Mini Glue Dot for an added special touch.

I stamped the largest circle image from Watercolor Shapes with Crumb Cake ink on the Very Vanilla inside layer before stamping a sentiment from Sunny Sentiments. I added a 1/2" wide strip of Early Espresso card stock with a row of Stampin' Dimensionals to create the "easel stop".

Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Shapes Frosted Gingerbread!

Hey there! Today I have a couple more cards created with the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set, one with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set for the background!

These cards are both stamped on our Basic White Note Cards that come packaged with coordinating envelopes!

This card is simply stamped with Real Red and Cinnamon Cider ink. I added a 1/2" strip of Gingerbread & Peppermint designer paper at the bottom and a Gilded Gem in the snowflake center for a bit of shine.

Fun, simple, and very easy to duplicate!

Inside I stamped more images from Frosted Gingerbread and added another strip of the same designer series paper!

This card is stepped-up just a bit with the circle image from Watercolor Shapes stamped with stamped-off Crumb Cake behind the Just Jade, Real Red, and Misty Moonlight images for some depth and texture.

I used the same Frosted Gingerbread greeting from the first card. This card is also a Note Card size!

The Gilded Gems are so bright and versatile! I want to use them on almost all of my cards right now!

Inside the Frosted Gingerbread sentiment looks completely different with the stamped-off Crumb Cake behind it!

Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Shapes Frosted Gingerbread!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream!

Hey there! I've been playing with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set again, seeing what I can pair it with to make quick but pretty cards. Today I used the Sweet Ice Cream set with Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia, and Pool Party to create this "cool" birthday card:

I stamped the waffle cone and the popsicle sticks with Crumb Cake. All of the images used on this card are all from either Sweet Ice Cream or Watercolor Shapes.

I added the sprinkles on the ice cream scoop with Gorgeous Grape ink and added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a little sparkle!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Gatefold Easel Card!

Hey there! Today I have one of the cards we made last Friday night at Donna's house with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle! I recently learned how to make a Gatefold Easel fold from my friend Sharon Armstrong, so I was excited to share this new fold!

I used a circle image from Watercolor Shapes, stamped with Granny Apple Green, and "hello" from Biggest Wish on the belly band to hold the card together.k I added a Bumblebee Trinket as a final touch!

I don't have instructions written for this card yet, but I hope to make more of this fold. When I do, I will!

Inside I used a Sweet Strawberry sentiment, and used one of the strawberry blooms for my easel "stop".
