Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Dreams Class!

Hey there! Here's the Dragonfly Dreams class for next week!

We'll make these 5 cards for $15 or free with a $40 product order. If you want to attend, please RSVP to me ASAP so I can get you on my list!

Dates are April 20th, 6-9 p.m. , April 21st 6-9 p.m., and April 22nd 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at my house!

Today's card features Definitely Dahlia background with Dragonfly Dreams!

I used Timeless Textures to stamp a cross-hatch background. I have a new point-and-shoot camera, but it didn't have an instruction manual, so I'm guessing as I go along. These pics seem almost blown-out and it has focus issues. That's what I get for buying a camera hanging on a peg in Walmart!

Soft Sky, Basic Black, and Very Vanilla. A Falling in Love Embellishment (retiring) adorns the dahlia's center.

The pic of the inside was taken with my "old reliable" camera. While the new camera seems to take a sharper pic (when it DOES focus correctly), the old camera seems to take "warmer" pics. Waddaya think?

Stampin’ Up! Flip Flap Succulents!

Hey there stamping friends! Recently I learned a new fold that is easy and a lot of fun, the Flip Flap Fold!

When I created this card I knew that everything Mint Macaron was retiring. Now, thanks to the release of the Retiring List by Stampin' Up! yesterday, EVERYTHING on this card, with the exception of Sweet Sugarplum, Whisper White, Stitched Shapes Framelits, and the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, IS retiring!

Suite Sentiments provided the greetings on the outside and inside flaps, stamped with Sweet Sugarplum and cut out with Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I stamped-off the Mint Macaron ink before stamping over the words. Inside I used sentiments from the also retiring Cottage Greetings.

Stampin’ Up! Flip Flap Succulents!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Dragonfly Dreams!

Hey there stamping friends! It's Sunday, which means time for swaps! Today I have a large collection of swaps created with the Dragonfly Dreams bundle, so with a minimum of discussion, here they are!

First, Jan Rodrian created unique corners for her card by cutting a Basic Black Decorative Label into four pieces!

I love the background stamped with Touches of Textures, and her addition of Wink of Stella!

Next, Deb McCahan used Soft Sky and Basic Gray for her swap. The polka-dot stamp in included in Dragonfly Dreams!

My team member, Linda Reaney, combined Dragonfly Dreams with Butterfly Basics for a collage effect:

Dena Tarkowski used Peekaboo Peach and Whisper White for her z-fold creation!

Kristi Sova used Delightful Dijon and Perfect Plum with the Watercolor Wash Background for her gatefold card.

Wonderful use of all of the elements!

Finally, Sharon Tong-Robinson used masking and sponging for her beautiful creation!

Dragonfly Dreams is the theme of my April Stamp Camp at my house. I will be posting all of the info here on Tuesday!

Stampin’ Up! That’s the Tag Sunburst!

Hey there stamping friends! My card today is the last with the That's the Tag Bundle for awhile. I used the Sunburst Thinlet die to create the background for the sunburst tag I cut from Gold Glimmer paper:

The Sunburst Thinlet Die is made to cut paper, but I flipped it over and used the smooth side to emboss! I started by laying a piece of copy paper on the cutting plate, then laid the Sunburst die with the cutting side down. After laying the So Saffron card stock on top I ran it through the Big Shot using all of the cutting pad layers instead of the regular one used for embossing folders.

This is what it looked like it came out of the Big Shot.

Stampin’ Up! That’s the Tag Daisies!

Hey there! Sale-a-bration is over, but the cute That's the Tag Bundle is still here!

I LOVE this daisy! I paired it with Fruit Stand Designer Paper, Daffodil Delight, and Marina Mist:
