Stampin’ Up! Best of Retiring Year in Review Final Day!

Stampin’ Up! That’s the Tag Sunburst!

Hey there stamping friends! My card today is the last with the That's the Tag Bundle for awhile. I used the Sunburst Thinlet die to create the background for the sunburst tag I cut from Gold Glimmer paper:

The Sunburst Thinlet Die is made to cut paper, but I flipped it over and used the smooth side to emboss! I started by laying a piece of copy paper on the cutting plate, then laid the Sunburst die with the cutting side down. After laying the So Saffron card stock on top I ran it through the Big Shot using all of the cutting pad layers instead of the regular one used for embossing folders.

This is what it looked like it came out of the Big Shot.

A Suite Sentiments phrase inside, stamped with Night of Navy, surrounded by Gold Glimmer stars cut with the That's the Tag stars die.

Stampin’ Up! That’s the Tag Congrats!

Hey there stampers! This week I'm in full-getting-ready-for-Stampin' Up! OnStage mode! I'm leaving Friday with 6 of my team, the Yes Mam! Stampers for Shreveport, LA! We will get to see and have a copy of the new Annual Catalog! yay!

Today's creation features the third card for my April Online Rewards program. This month we are using the That's the Tag Bundle. It's getting closer to the end of school, so I decided to make this card a graduation card:

I used the universal graduation colors of Basic Black, Basic Gray, and Whisper White. No matter what the school colors may be, this color combo speaks of honor!

I put a layer of Silver Foil between the Whisper White front tag and the back tag of Basic Black. A bit of Basic Black Thick Baker's Twine finishes it all off!

Inside I used a Suite Sentiments phrase and cut out more stars with the Timeless Tags Thinlets.

The "stepped-up" version:

Silver Glimmer Paper is substituted for the Silver Foil.

I did the same on the inside, adding just a square behind the star cut outs in each corner.

Stampin’ Up! Inside the Lines for A Birthday!

Hey there! The Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper is FREE with a $50 Sale-a-bration order! I've seen many creations with the designs colored with sponges, watercolor pencils, markers, and foam brayers, but I decided to focus on creating a focal image that pops!

I stamped a Suite Sentiments greeting with Basic Black and added blooms from Basket Bunch with Flirty Flamingo. I colored the blooms with a Pink Pirouette marker, then colored some of the centers with a Flirty Flamingo marker.

How cute is this?!

I used the pop-out window fold I used with the Lucky Elephant card a while back. I love how this card is constructed, easy but oh so effective!

I used Stylized Birthday for the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Basket Bunch Daffodils!

Hey there! I'm working on the projects for my Basket Bunch class next week. Today's card is one we will be making. I wanted to use the Clear Block Background technique as a nice background for the daffodils!

I embossed the white layer with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions folder; layering it on the Daffodil Delight card base.

I used Clear Block D to stamp the Mint Macaron background square onto Watercolor Paper, spritzing the ink with a generous amount of water before pressing the block on to the paper.

I embossed the daffodils with white powder before cutting with a Basket Builder die and adhering with a dimensional. I colored the petals with a White Chalk marker.

Inside I used a Suite Sentiments phrase, stamped with Basic Black Archival ink.

Stampin’ Up! Basket Bunch Daffodils!
