Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! Once again, every 7 days is time for Sunday Swap Day! yay! This is the last Sunday before the new catalog starts on Thursday, June 1st, so it's my last chance to share with you some really fine swaps with retiring or carrying over products!

Cathy Miller used the retiring Oh So Succulent stamps, Succulent Garden Ribbon, Mint Macaron card stock, and carrying-over Petal Burst folder for her swap:

I love this easel card by Susie Wood using the retiring Special Reason stamp set. The stamps are retiring but the fold is not. I'll be CASEing this fold!

Ruth Bingle combined the retiring Irresistibly Floral Specialty Paper and Flirty Flamingo 3/8" Ruched Ribbon with the not retiring Sunshine Wishes Thinlets and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper!

Rhonda Bassler combined the retiring Lovely Lace and Happy Heart folders and Sweetheart Punch with carrying-over Petal Burst, Seaside, and Softly Falling folders for another easel-fold card I will be CASE-ing with new products soon!

Raedean Shibata Stamped a Blushing Bride Watercolor Wash background before gold heat-embossing a retiring So in Love image and greeting.

I took a picture of this carrying-over Swirly Bird/Swirly Scribbles/Better Together swap at OnStage.

I also took a picture of this Swirly Bird/Swirly Scribbles owl with a retiring Greatest Greetings sentiment.

Finally, my team member Martha Swift created this fun card with retiring Balloon Adventures, So Detailed Thinlets, and Falling Petals folder.

Stampin’ Up! Flip Flap Succulents!

Hey there stamping friends! Recently I learned a new fold that is easy and a lot of fun, the Flip Flap Fold!

When I created this card I knew that everything Mint Macaron was retiring. Now, thanks to the release of the Retiring List by Stampin' Up! yesterday, EVERYTHING on this card, with the exception of Sweet Sugarplum, Whisper White, Stitched Shapes Framelits, and the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, IS retiring!

Suite Sentiments provided the greetings on the outside and inside flaps, stamped with Sweet Sugarplum and cut out with Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I stamped-off the Mint Macaron ink before stamping over the words. Inside I used sentiments from the also retiring Cottage Greetings.

Even though it is sad to see these wonderful products retiring, the GOOD NEWS is they are deeply discounted right now!

Stampin’ Up! Oh So Succulent Waterfall for Mother’s Day!

Hey there! When I created my first Oh So Succulent Waterfall card a few days ago, I didn't stop with just one, I created this second one, also with the Oh So Succulent Bundle!

I started with an Old Olive 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" flat base, then added a layer of Succulent Garden Designer Paper 4" x 5 1/4"

I stamped off Sweet Sugarplum for the flower, then stamped the outline with full-strength Sweet Sugarplum. "Happy Mother's Day" is included in Oh So Succulents.

The waterfall strip is 2 ¼” x 9 ½”, scored at 3 ¾”, 5”, 5 ¾”, 6 ½”, 7 ¼”.

I used the waterfall flaps to showcase the gorgeous Succulent Garden Designer Paper!

I added a few rhinestones to sparkle up the ending sentiment!

I secured the cross-piece with both Tear & Tape adhesive and a staple. I don't really like exposed staples, so will probably go back and add a flower to hide it.

Oh So Succulent stamps on the envelope too!

Stampin’ Up! Oh So Succulent Waterfall!

Hey there! The Waterfall fold was one of the first I learned when I first became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!

I created my waterfall card with the Oh So Succulent Bundle and Succulent Garden Designer Paper:

I took my colors from the Succulent Garden paper: Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum, and Whisper White. I added Rich Razzleberry for color pop!

I used the omitting technique with scotch tape to divide up the Oh So Succulent phrase, "Happy Birthday To A Very Special Person" between all four of the waterfall flaps.

I cut the squares with Layering Squares Framelits and the flowers with Succulent Framelit Dies.

I simply cut three of each size from Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry card stock to layer with glue dots. Pearls Basic Jewels Embellishments finish off the centers.

I finished off the pull section with another Oh So Succulent sentiment . . .

and tied a Sweet Sugarplum ribbon from the Succulent Garden 3/8" Combo Pack to pull the waterfall flap.
