Stampin’ Up! Remarkable Ink Big December Blog Hop!

Hey there! I'm participating in a new blog hop this month, the Remarkable Ink Big Blog Hop!

Our theme this month is Sneak Peeks from the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs! I participated in an extra swap this month featuring the Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs. (have your received your copy yet? I send one to myself when I do the Stampin' Up! Mailing Selector, and I just received my Occasions Catalog copy yesterday. If you don't have a demonstrator to get catalogs from, just leave me a comment with your name and address and I'll pop one in the mail to you this week!)

I used the Sweet Soiree Suite of products to create my flip/flap fold card:

I used Sweet Soiree' Specialty Designer Series Paper for the top flap and embossed the bottom flap of So Saffron card base with the Layered Leaves Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The Sweet Soiree' Suite includes Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon that coordinates perfectly with the silver-embossed paper.

Inside I added floral images from the Cake Soiree' stamp set withe So Saffron, Powder Pink, and stamped-off Old Olive. I stamped the sentiment with Berry Burst.

I used the Everyday Label Punch to create the window for the greeting to peek through.

I cut the punched piece in half.

Then added it to the back of the stamped greeting label. I then added the greeting inside the window, adhering to the bottom flap with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now it's time to continue on to the next blog on the hop to see more sneaky peekies!

Stampin’ Up! Flip Flap Succulents!

Hey there stamping friends! Recently I learned a new fold that is easy and a lot of fun, the Flip Flap Fold!

When I created this card I knew that everything Mint Macaron was retiring. Now, thanks to the release of the Retiring List by Stampin' Up! yesterday, EVERYTHING on this card, with the exception of Sweet Sugarplum, Whisper White, Stitched Shapes Framelits, and the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, IS retiring!

Suite Sentiments provided the greetings on the outside and inside flaps, stamped with Sweet Sugarplum and cut out with Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I stamped-off the Mint Macaron ink before stamping over the words. Inside I used sentiments from the also retiring Cottage Greetings.

Even though it is sad to see these wonderful products retiring, the GOOD NEWS is they are deeply discounted right now!
