Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities for Stephanie’s Wedding!

Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities for Stephanie’s Wedding!

Hey there. Happy New Year! Did you kiss your sweetheart at midnight last night? I did! lol!

A dear friend of mine's only daughter was married during Thanksgiving weekend. I created this card for her gift:

Stampin_up_hearts_mask_hello_you_thinlets_1
Whisper White card base, layered with Blackberry Bliss, then Smokey Slate. I used the Hearts stencil from the Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks with a sponge dauber to add Silver Encore Metallic hearts. The Blackberry Bliss "happy" was cut with the new Hello You Thinlets Dies in the Occasions Catalog (available starting January 6!)

Adhering these skinny little words can be tricky. They are too thin and delicate for SNAIL or glue dots. Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a toothpick to the rescue!

Stampin_up_big_news_1 - Copy

I stamped a sentiment from Big News in the Annual Catalog with Blackberry Bliss on the inside, then used the same Hearts mask to sponge more Silver Encore hearts.

Stampin_up_hearts_mask_1 - Copy

More hearts sponged lightly with Blackberry Bliss ink completed the envelope. I used a ready-made silver glimmery bow, coloring the center with my darkest Rich Razzleberry Blendability alcohol marker to match!

Stampin_up_rich_razzleberry_blendability - Copy

DANGER!!!!!Blendability markers on glimmer paper: the roughness of the glitter will FUZZ the tip of your Blendability!

FORTUNATELY  for all of us, the Blendability markers are available to choose as your free item in the Sale-a-bration catalog! When I place my next $50 order on January 6, I will be able to choose a new set of Rich Razzleberry Blendabilites as my freebie! whoo hoo!

That's all for now. I'm going to do a little bit of Christmas-returns and shopping this afternoon, so I've got to fly!

Here's the supply list for Stephanie's card. Go to my online store to order: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

All orders placed in my online store will receive a Thank You project packet from me. No minimum $$ amount required! Be sure to check out the Clearance Rack and the newest Weekly Deals while you are there!

Stampin’ Up! A Geometrical Mickey Card for Jaxon!

Stampin’ Up! A Geometrical Mickey Card for Jaxon!

Hey there! Just ONE day left of 2014! This year has just FLOWN by hasn't it?

For my last post of 2014 I want to share the second Mickey Mouse card I created for Jaxon's birthday. This one was for Uncle Logan and Uncle Ben to put money in:

Stampin_up_geometrical_mickey_1 - Copy

I used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut the card base, then added punched 2" Circles for the mouse ears. The center is simply stamped with a sentiment from the Geometrical set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Stampin_up_geometrical_mickey_2 - Copy

I used the circle framelit to cut the cardstock just off the fold to make the card easily open.

Stampin_up_geometrical_mickey_3 - Copy

Inside I combined a sentiment from the Project Life Remember This Photopolymer set with words from the new 2015 Occasions Catalog set, Crazy About You.

It was easy to make my card the right size to fit inside a Whisper White Medium Envelope:

Stampin_up_geometrical_mickey_4 - Copy

That's all for now. Check out the supply list for this card listed below, then go to my Online Store to place your order: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

All orders placed in my Online Store will receive a Thank-You Project Packet free via mail from me! There's NO MINIMUM order required. Just order from me and I will mail you a free project packet!

Stampin’ Up! Hot Diggity Dog for Jaxon’s Birthday!

Stampin’ Up! Hot Diggity Dog for Jaxon’s Birthday!

Hey there! I'm back! With the help of my husband, sons, and especially my daughter, Kimberly, we were able to get the  house ready, presents wrapped, and stockings filled! Not bad considering I was sick with a fever for 5 days the week before Christmas! All 17 of us were together at our house from Christmas Eve through Saturday! yay!

Our grandson, Jaxon, turned 3 the day after Christmas. We had a little cake party for him at our house on the 26th, but yesterday his mommy & daddy hosted his "real party" at their house. His party theme was Mickey Mouse, so I made this card for him:

Stampin_up_hot_diggity_dog_1 - Copy

Yes, another flip card made with the Circle Card Framelit Die! I've used this framelit die to make most of my special family birthday cards this year.

I purchased the "Hot Diggity Dog" stamp set just so I could use the "hot diggity dog It's your birthday" stamp on Jaxon's card. (just so you know, there's a Mickey Mouse show on the Disney channel that has a song that sings, "hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog" as it's theme) I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the words in the right order!

Stampin_up_hot_diggity_dog_2 - Copy

I added Mickey ears to the center "flipping" circle and used the circles mask from the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit to sponge the polka-dots on the right panel.

Stampin_up_hot_diggity_dog_3 - Copy

I created the little Mickey balloons with my 3/4" Circle and 1/2" Circle punches.

GUESS WHAT???!!! I didn't know when I created this card yesterday that the Amazing Birthday stamp set would be on the Weekly Deals this week! The "happy happy happy happy birthday to YOU!" sentiment is from the Amazing Birthday set, along with 6 more really great birthday images. Today is a great time to get this set at 25% off!

I cut out Jaxon's name with the Little Letters Thinlets Dies for the envelope:

Stampin_up_hot_diggity_dog_6 - Copy

That's all for now. I have a second card I created for the "uncles" to give to Jaxon,  but I'm saving it for tomorrow!

Check out the supply list for Jaxon's card and the Weekly Deals below, then go to my online store to order: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’Up! Watercolor Winter Too Gift Card Holder!

Stampin’Up! Watercolor Winter Too Gift Card Holder!

Hey there. I'm still sick, so progress on EVERYTHING is slow. I called the dr. yesterday because she had said if I was still sick on Friday she would call in a Rx, and she made good her promise. Now I have an antibiotic for 10 days. I'm still running a bit of a fever. I'm tired of this, but there must be a reason, right? I just hope I am well by the time Alisa's baby arrives!

Today's project was created by Raedean Shibata for our monthly swap:

Stampin_up_watercolor_winter_too_1 - Copy

Raedean created a cute little gift card holder with Smoky Slate cardstock, All Is Calm Designer Specialty Paper, and the Letterpress Winter stamp set. She used a sentiment from the Watercolor Winter Too stamp set and used the Petite Curly Label Punch to create her closure.

Stampin_up_watercolor_winter_too_2 - Copy

The inside is folded and punched with the Word Window Punch to create the slot to slip in the gift card.

That's all I have for today. I've been sick with this since Tuesday night, so I'm just plain ol' worn out, even after a full night sleep! Can you relate?

Here's the supply list for today's project. All supplies will be available in my Online Store through January 5th.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Under the Tree and New Weekly Deals!

Stampin’ Up! Under the Tree and New Weekly Deals!

Hey there! Seems like all it's done around here is rain, gray skies, rain, gray skies, over and over. Pretty dreary, so I thought a cheery card is in order:

Stampin_up_under_the_tree - Copy

I received this card, created by Cathy Stephenson, in the November swap. Cathy's use of the 1 3/4", 1 3/8", 1 1/4", 1", and 3/4" Circle punches make this a quick and easy card!

The tree is layered on a Whisper White background  embossed with the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions folder. The stars coordinates perfectly with the patterns in the Under the Tree Specialty Paper circles.

The "merry christmas" is from the no longer available Hostess set Good Greetings, but you could easily substitute a greeting from Endless Wishes photopolymer to get the same sentiment.

A Silver Glimmer Paper star cut with one of the Star Framelits tops the tree. LOVE it!

Here's your shopping list for this card. All the items listed are available to order today in my Online Store:    www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

While you are there, check out the new Weekly Deals.
