Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet!

Hey there! Today I have two cards for you, my creation with the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle on pages 92 & 93 of the Annual Catalog and the swap I CASED to make mine! I started with a print from the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack for my color palette of Old Olive, Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry. I embossed Sweet Sugarplum layer with the Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and cut my focal point layers with Lots of Labels Framelits.

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps1

I cut blooms with the Bouquet Bunch Framelits (bundled with the stamp set for an extra 10% savings), then cut stems, sprigs, the bouquet wrap and the bow also with the same framelits.

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps2

I added a bit of shimmer to the blooms with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

Stampin_up_wink_of_stella_carolpaynestamps

The greeting is included in the Beautiful Bouquet set, punched with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch an matted with the 1 3/8" Scallop Circle.

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps3

This fold is my favorite right now!

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps6

The inside is stamped with more Beautiful Bouquet images and sentiment.

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps5

Here's Carol Nordquist's swap I used as my pattern for my card. Lots of difference and similarities! A good swap is like that, it inspires your creativity!

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps7

The bloom image looks a little like lilacs!

Have I inspired you?

Stampin’ Up! Petal Garden Calendar!

Stampin’ Up! Petal Garden Calendar!

Hey there! The final project I created with the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack is possibly my favorite, an easel calendar!

I printed off the calendar from somewhere online, cut up the months to size, and used a 2-way glue pen to layer the months together. I let the 2-way glue air-dry so it would be Post-It Note consistency. Whenever I'm ready to remove the finished month all I have to do is gently peel it away. No tearing required!

Stampin_up_petal_garden_calendar_carolpaynestamps1

EDITED 2/28/18: By request, here is the PDF I used to print and cut the calendar for this project: Download 2018 Calendar to cut

I cut the three different Petal Garden Prints with the smallest Stitched Shapes square framelit to adhere to the Whisper White layer. I embossed all three layers(Petal Garden squares, Whisper White, and Old Olive) with the Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Embossing Powder. I added the Rich Razzleberry "amazing", cut with a Celebrate You Thinlet die, with tiny dots of liquid glue.

Stampin_up_petal_garden_calendar_carolpaynestamps2

Layering the "YOU", also cut with a Celebrate You die, onto Petal Garden Designer Paper punched with the Pretty Label Punch created the perfect "stop" for the easel!

Stampin_up_petal_garden_calendar_carolpaynestamps3

I stamped a sentiment from One Big Meaning with Rich Razzleberry ink.

I currently do not have a tutorial for this easel calendar, but I am sharing the PDF file for you to download, print, and cut apart!

Stampin’ Up! Another Happy Wishes Card!

Stampin’ Up! Another Happy Wishes Card!

Hey there! Did you enjoy the Happy Wishes card I shared yesterday for the Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop? I have another Happy Wishes card for you today! yay!

I used another print from the Petal Garden 6 x 6 Designer Series pack, this time heat-embossing the large "best" from Happy Wishes with white embossing powder.

Stampin_up_happy_wishes_carolpaynestamps1

I cut a piece of the designer paper 2" x 4" so I could punch one end with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and heat emboss the word.

Stampin_up_happy_wishes_carolpaynestamps2

I stamped "wishes" with Bermuda Bay ink and added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I tied a piece of Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon in the tag slot.

Stampin_up_happy_wishes_carolpaynestamps4

I love how you can switch around the words to make so many different combinations of phrases! I used Graceful Garden for the leaf sprig and the "for you".

Stampin_up_happy_wishes_carolpaynestamps5

Pretty, pretty card! Can you tell I love it AND Happy Wishes AND Petal Garden Designer Paper?

Stampin’ Up! Shutter Cards from Vacation Stamping School!

Stampin’ Up! Shutter Cards from Vacation Stamping School!

Hey there! I'm still struggling a bit with technology (still lots of passwords to re-establish, as well as printer connections, etc), and now my washing machine is broken. I've called the repair people. They hope to be able to send someone to me tomorrow. Until then I took several loads to Kimberly's today to run through her washer while I babysit. She is a lifesaver!

Today I'm still sharing more projects we saw demonstrated and displayed at Vacation Stamping School. There were two sessions where we could watch demonstrators "demonstrate" how they made a project, fun fold, or technique. Laura Borchert demonstrated how to make a shutter card and also had several samples to see.

Her first sample used the Fresh Florals Designer Paper and the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set:

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps1

The fun part is when you open the card to reveal the opening shutter:

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_shutter_carolpaynestamps2

Coffee Cafe' and Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I love the sponged "coffee" on the cup front!

Stampin_up_coffee_cafe_shutter_carolpaynestamps1

The coffee bean paper is also found in the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper pack!

Stampin_up_coffee_cafe_shutter_carolpaynestamps2

With Daisy Delight and Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. Laura created a "bellyband" to keep this card closed.

Stampin_up_daisy_delight_carolpaynestamps1

I love the coordination of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers!

Stampin_up_daisy_delight_carolpaynestamps2

Laura paired Graceful Garden with the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper:

Stampin_up_petal_garden_shutter_carolpaynestamps1

These shutter cards are very easy and so much fun!

Stampin_up_petal_garden_shutter_carolpaynestamps2

Finally, Laura used Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper with the Star of Light stamps for a gorgeous Christmas shutter card:

Stampin_up_star_of_light_carolpaynestamps1

She used Tranquil Tide 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon to create the bellyband instead of card stock.
