Stampin’ Up! Mother’s Day Sunday Swap Day Part Two!

Carol Payne Stamps: Coffee Cafe and Nature’s Poem!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing more Coffee Cafe' cards, but this time I used Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper. These cards were actually my "warm-up" cards I created before I made the "Pumpkin Spice" card for Grace!

I cut three strips from Nature's Poem Designer Paper to adhere vertically on a 4" x 5 1/4" layer. I embossed with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink.

I stamped a Coffee Cafe sentiment, "HI" with Cajun Craze ink, punching with a 1/2" Circle Punch.

After stamping the Perennial Birthday sentiment, I punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch and added Soft Suede sponging and Cajun Craze-stamped hearts.

Inside I stamped another Perennial Birthday sentiment and added a strip of Nature's Poem DSP to the bottom.

I created a slightly improved version by sponging the embossed Pinewood Planks with Soft Suede ink and tipping the cup lid up with dimensionals.

If I create another version of this card I would have a greeting coming out of the lid opening as if the cup were speaking!

Carol Payne Stamps: Coffee Cafe and Nature’s Poem!

I stamped a Coffee Cafe sentiment, "HI" with Cajun Craze ink, punching with a 1/2" Circle Punch.

After stamping the Perennial Birthday sentiment, I punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch and added Soft Suede sponging and Cajun Craze-stamped hearts.

Stampin’ Up! Apron of Love for Mom!

Hey there! Sometimes I think I'm going to make a card a certain way, but then during the process the card becomes something else entirely! Such was the case with this Apron of Love card today. I intended to make a masculine card for a "best Dad ever", but it ended up being for Mom!

I used Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, Apron of Love Bundle, and Perennial Birthday stamps to create this:

I heat-embossed the apron and flowers with white powder, cut with an Apron Builder Framlit die, then layered on ovals cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Oval Framelits. Rhinestone Basic Jewels provide touches of bling.

The embossed Petal Palette flowers on the apron match the stamped flowers inside, which frame a Perennial Birthday sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Passion for the Petal Palette Class!

Hey there! For today's easel card I used Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, part of the Petal Passion Suite. We'll be making this one at my Petal Palette Class on Saturday, February 17th!

I colored the Petal Passion DSP bloom with Cherry Cobbler Light & Dark and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

I cut a greeting with a Celebrate You Thinlet (SAB) from Silver Foil. The Basic Black background is embossed with the Simple Stripes folder.

I stamped inside with Perennial Birthday. I used the Pretty Label Punch to create the easel stop from Basic Black, then added "YOU" with a Celebrate You Thinlet.

To achieve a Lemon Lime Twist leaf, I colored first with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, then a thin layer of Light Old Olive. I colored the bloom with both Light & Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends.
