Stampin’ Up! Retiring Favorites with Coffee Cafe and Cookie Cutter Christmas!

Hey there! I'm a little under-the-weather right now with a spring cold/allergies. Just about all of my little grandkids have it too, and my hubby has joined in the fun, so I've not had any mojo to stamp for awhile.

I'm really glad I have the opportunity to share more of my Retiring Favorites samples with you!

First a cute card we made at my Christmas in July Class with the Cookie Cutter Christmas set, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Under the Mistletoe Designer paper, and the Apron of Love stamps and dies. ALL of these products are retiring on June 3rd!

Carol Payne Stamps: Coffee Cafe and Nature’s Poem!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing more Coffee Cafe' cards, but this time I used Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper. These cards were actually my "warm-up" cards I created before I made the "Pumpkin Spice" card for Grace!

I cut three strips from Nature's Poem Designer Paper to adhere vertically on a 4" x 5 1/4" layer. I embossed with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink.

I stamped a Coffee Cafe sentiment, "HI" with Cajun Craze ink, punching with a 1/2" Circle Punch.

After stamping the Perennial Birthday sentiment, I punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch and added Soft Suede sponging and Cajun Craze-stamped hearts.

Inside I stamped another Perennial Birthday sentiment and added a strip of Nature's Poem DSP to the bottom.

I created a slightly improved version by sponging the embossed Pinewood Planks with Soft Suede ink and tipping the cup lid up with dimensionals.

If I create another version of this card I would have a greeting coming out of the lid opening as if the cup were speaking!

I stamped a Coffee Cafe sentiment, "HI" with Cajun Craze ink, punching with a 1/2" Circle Punch.

Sunday Swap Day with Rooted in Nature!

Hey there! Today is our family's August Birthdays celebration! There are six of us with August birthdays, so we have a lot to celebrate!

For Sunday Swap Day I'm sharing a bunch of Rooted in Nature swaps from the Alaska Cruise swap boards.

This one incorporates the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper, Layering Ovals Framelits, Leaves Trinkets, and Shaded Spruce Metallic Ribbon. A Stitched Labels Framelit was used to cut out the greeting:

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper!

Hey there! Today I have a collection of swaps created with Nature's Poem from the B3G1F Designer Series Paper Sale!

Mary Waring used strips of Nature's Poem DSP (aka Designer Series Paper) as her background for the Bee Thankful image. She used Grapefruit Grove as her card base and to color the "thanks" to pull it all together.

A Thankful Thoughts sentiment was used on the inside along with a bumblebee from Dragonfly Dreams.

Carol Slack used Cajun Craze and Blueberry Bushel as her main colors for this card using Nature's Poem DSP as the background behind the bird from Better With You. The greeting is from the Darling Label Punch Box set, punched with the Darling Label Punch.

Cathy Miller's fun-fold card features both the Nature's Poem DSP and the Rooted in Nature Bundle of stamps and thinlets!

On the inside she used the new-style embossing thinlets from the Nature's Roots Framelits pack to emboss the leaves on the Grapefruit Grove layer.

First, Laura Milligan combined the new Around the Corner set with Varied Vases stamps and Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper, punching with the 1/2" Circle Punch and adding a single rhinestone and a bow tied with Natures Twine.

Next, Mary Lang combined Enjoy Life and Rooted in Nature sets for her lovely landscape:

Carol Slack went with a rather monochromatic look of Mint Macaron, Tranqui Tide and Very Vanilla. She used the new In Every Season set for her focal image, Vertical Greetings for the sentiment, Petal Pair Textured Impressions Folder for texture, and Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper.

Finally, Cathy Miller used the Peaceful Reflection set with Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla, and Night of Navy, cutting and framing the window with Layering Circle Framelits. She used a sentiment from Love What You Do, and added pearls and Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon.
