Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy Pandas!

Hey there! I had a fabulous birthday weekend! 60 doesn't feel any different than 59; hope I can say that next year! lol!

Today I have the final card from my Wildly Happy stamp set series. This time I used the mama panda and her baby, the Layered Leaves embossing folder, and my favorite easel-fold!

I heat-embossed the pandas and the sentiment with white embossing powder.

I used the Pretty Label Punch to create the easel "stop".

I love this sentiment. I distressed and inked the edges of the label by dragging it directly on the ink pad, then used my finger to dab on more Granny Apple Green ink!

Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia #4!

Hey there! Today I have another Good Morning Magnolia card that may, (or may not!) be my last one to share for awhile. For this one I used the Floating Reinker Technique on Shimmery White card stock to color the magnolia bloom:

The "floating reinker" technique is pretty simple! After heat embossing the bloom with white powder on Shimmery White card stock, use an Aquapainter to thoroughly wet the image. Use enough water to make puddles on the image. Put a few drops of the colors you want to use (Petal Pink, Blushing Bride, and Mossy Meadow used here) on a clear acrylic stamping block. Dip the tip of the Aquapainter into each color, then drip the color on the image where you choose. Keep dripping the colors until you have the look you want. You can even blot the wetness away so you can take away some of the color or add deeper hues.

I layered three strips of Magnolia Memory Designer Paper onto a layer of Blushing Bride, then embossed it all with the Layered Leaves folder.

I finished the front with a Good Morning Magnolia greeting punched with the Timeless Label punch and a knot of Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Trim.

Inside is pretty special too!

I layered three strips of Magnolia Memory Designer Paper onto a layer of Blushing Bride, then embossed it all with the Layered Leaves folder.

I finished the front with a Good Morning Magnolia greeting punched with the Timeless Label punch and a knot of Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Trim.

Inside is pretty special too!

More Alaska Cruise Swaps: Detailed With Love and Graceful Garden!

Hey there! Yesterday I a lovely time stamping with my "Third Thursday" group at the Cozy Table in Benton, IL. Whether there are two or ten, we always have a good time!

Today I'm sharing more cruise swaps: Detailed with Love and Graceful Garden! Until I run out, it's like Sunday Swap Day on my blog everyday!

This card is a beautiful collection of Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions (Mint Macaron background) Share What You Love Designer Paper, Detailed with Love greeting, and die-cut blooms from the Springtime Impressions dies! The Mint Macaron behind the greeting is stamped with the Artisan Textures set.

The same Detailed with Love greeting has a completely different look when stamped in Grapefruit Grove and paired with the Pop of Petals Bundle!

The rose from Graceful Garden was black heat-embossed first, then colored with Stampin' Blends. The greeting is from Southern Serenade.

This Graceful Garden card has a whole different look stamped with the "line-less watercolor" technique! The Handwritten background stamp was used on the front to frame the oval opening. Gorgeous!
