Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter with Festive Farmhouse!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter with Festive Farmhouse!

Hey there! I have ideas for more Nothing Sweeter creations, but ran out of time before we left for Orlando to attend the Stampin' Up! 30th Anniversary OnStage event. Today is the middle day of OnStage and I'm seeing so much fun new stuff that will be in the Spring Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs! I'm taking lots of pictures, so be ready to see some fun new things soon!

Today's card continues the "homespun" look with Crumb Cake, Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. After I embossed the layer wtih the folder I rubbed my Crumb Cake ink pad directly over the raised ridges.

After I stamped the tree in stamped-off Mossy Meadow and then stamped the outline in full-strength Mossy Meadow, I cut it out with the two pieces of the tree die from the Sweetly Stitched Framelits. It really looks stitched! The star is another Nothing Sweeter image stamped with Crushed Curry and  cut with a Sweetly Stitched Framelit

I found the perfect greeting in the Christmas Traditions Punch Box! There are 6 stamps, a coordinating punch, two Stampin' Spots, and a clear stamping block, all in a gorgeous Real Red and silver tin! I stamped the greeting first with Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla, punched with the Christmas Traditions Punch, then stamped again with Cherry Cobbler on a scrap of Very Vanilla. I hand-cut "Christmas" with Paper Snips to layer over the middle of the greeting. I rubbed the edges of the greeting directly on my Crumb Cake inkpad. No sparkles or bling were needed on this one!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter With Buffalo Check!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter With Buffalo Check!

Hey there! Today is the first full day of the Stampin' Up! OnStage 30th Anniversary Celebration in Orlando Florida! Last night I attended "CentreStage" for demonstrators at the Silver Elite title and above at Disney's Epcot. Pictures will be coming soon!

Today I'm sharing another card inspired by the Nothing Sweeter "Shop By Occasion"  feature in my online store!

I changed the colors from the original posted HERE.

For a homespun look, I used a Crumb Cake, Real Red, Call Me Clover, and Very Vanilla. I stamped a 2" x 4 1/4" Real Red strip with Buffalo Check and black ink.  I love Buffalo Check! In case it retires on January 1st, be sure to order soon!

I cut the Call Me Clover tree with two tree dies from Sweetly Stitched Framelits. I stamped the lights with Call Me Clover and colored the Pearls with a Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend Marker. The snowflake was cut with a Sweetly Stitched Framelit too!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps2

I stamped a Real Red greeting, then added the "rick-rack" stitching with a Sweetly Stitched Framelit.

I tried the greeting in Call Me Clover. Which color do you prefer?

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps4

 Crumb Cake colored pearls!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_plaid_carolpaynestamps6

Nothing Sweeter is clear photopolymer so you can stamp accurately. I stamped sentiment first, then the heart. The Very Vanilla layer is 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", and the Real Red mat layer is 3 5/8" x  4 7/8". I love this size for my inside layers because it zeroes in on the sentiment without lots of empty space. It's easier for me to decide how I want to stamp it!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter Winter Birthday!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter Winter Birthday!

Hey there! After I CASEd the Nothing Sweeter "Shop By Project" card from my online store, it really lit my creative fire! I have three more cards to share with you this week, starting with this one for a winter Birthday!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps1

I used a clean and fresh color combo of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White. I embossed the white background layer with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for a festive, almost "frosting" look!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps2

The present stamps is two separate images. I stamped the ink once on scrap paper before stamping on a white piece of card stock, then I stamped the darker outline, the two middle "ribbon" lines, and the squiggle. Adding rhinestones is the perfect finishing touch!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps3

I repeated the same process (stamping-off for the solid image, full strength for the outline) with Melon Mambo for the center present. I masked the center before stamping the stars.

This present was the easiest. I stamped off the solid image, stamped the outlines, then stamped the snowflake center. I finished with a little masking to stamp the edges and a rhinestone in the center.

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps5

I chose a greeting from Another Wonderful Year, stamping first in Bermuda Bay and then in Melon Mambo. I cut out "CELEBRATE" with my Paper Snips to adhere to the phrase.

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps6

Inside I used a sentiment from Lift Me Up.

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps7

I remembered to stamp my envelope too!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter Shop By Project CASE!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter Shop By Project CASE!

Hey there! As I am blogging this we are winging our way toward Orlando to attend the Stampin' Up! 30th Anniversary OnStage event! I'm so glad I decided to get a hotspot for my phone!

A new feature in my online store is "Shop By Project"!  Currently a test feature for now, if successful it could become permanent. I browsed the projects and found a cute card created with the Nothing Sweeter bundle from the Holiday Catalog. I was inspired to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it, then created a few more that I'll share soon. The "Shop By Project" cards don't have instructions, but do list the supplies used so you can purchase the ones you don't already have.

Although this card does require a Big Shot, it's pretty AND pretty simple!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps1

Pool Party, Call Me Clover, Real Red, and Whisper White is a fresh, wintry color combo!

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps2

The  Nothing Sweeter stamps are bundled with the Sweetly Stitched Framelits dies. I used two dies to cut and "stitch" the tree and the snowflake. After I stamped the lights on the tree, I added rhinestones for sparkle.

Stampin_up_nothing_sweeter_carolpaynestamps3

After stamping the greeting from Nothing Sweeter with Real Red ink I used another Sweetly Stitched die to add the scalloped "stitching". The extra mini-scallops were created by punching a white scrap with the Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and then using my Paper Snips to trim off the scallop strip. I adhered with tiny dots of liquid glue.

All of the inside is stamped with Nothing Sweeter images.
