Stampin’ Up! New Weekly Deals and The Last of the Treat Bags!

Hey there! I'm back with a second post for today. I didn't know for sure if there would be new Weekly Deals this week with the Holiday Extravaganza going on right now, but Stampin' Up! posted them this morning! yay!

You can order these deals right along with the Extravaganza deals! How awesome is that?

Here's the link again to the PDF of the Extravaganza:

Holiday Extravaganza Products List

Here's the final installment of the treat bags. I used the Petite Cafe Gift Bags from page 10 of the Holiday Catalog and Nature's Peace:

I used the Stars Framelits to cut out the tag layers with Kraft and Lost Lagoon Cardstock. The Stars Framelits are 20% off through December 2nd!

The Petite Cafe bags come 10 to a package for $5.95, are poly-lined, food-safe, and are a little larger size, 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" x  8", so they are perfect for homemade holiday treats!

Stampin_up_natures_peace_petite_cafe_3The snowflake stamp in part of the Nature's Peace set, and the "to: from:" is from Festival of Trees.

That's all for now. Here's the supply list for the treat bags. You can order everything you need, including the Weekly Deals and Holiday Extravaganza items, in my online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees Vellum Treat Bag!

Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees Vellum Treat Bag!

Hey there! Today will be a busy day. They are finally shelling the corn here on our property so I'm making lunch for the "men", something easy to keep ready, as they will be in and out in shifts, so I'm making Taco Soup! yummy!

Today I have another treat bag for you, this time created with Gold Fancy Foil Vellum cardstock and the Festival of Trees Bundle:
Stampin_up_festival_of_trees_1
For those of you who have been wondering, the bag is 8 1/2" x 5", scored at 1/2", 3 1/4",4 1/2", and 7 1/4" up from  the long side, and then 1 1/4" up from the right end of the short side. I used a tutorial I found here to learn how.

After gold heat-embossing the tree, I punched it with the Tree Punch and then layered it over a 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punched from a Gold Foil Sheet. The gold-embossed greeting is also from Festival of Trees, punched with the Word Window Punch.

I tied the top of the bag together with a bit of Gold 1/8" Ribbon.

That's all for now! I will be sharing another little treat bag tomorrow, so come on by and check it out!

Here's your shopping list to create today's bag. You will find all these supplies to order in my Online Store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’Up! Monster Hug & Word Bubble Valentines for My Grandkids!

Stampin’Up! Monster Hug & Word Bubble Valentines for My Grandkids!

Hey there! A couple of days ago I went to Jessica's to make valentines with my grandkids. I started this tradition when Maddie Kate was in kindergarten. She's in 7th grade now, so that's makes 8 years of valentines! I wish I had taken pictures of our first ones, but oh, well, here's this years' installment:

Stampin_up_monster_hugs_1

In past years we've spent a lot of hours making quite elaborate valentines, but since this year I knew I might be more pressed for time with all the commitments I have, I decided to go easy. Ava said, "Wow, Grammie, these are alot easier than last year!" I asked if she still liked them and she said "OH YES!" (guess easy can sometimes be just as good or better?)

For both Ava (in 3rd grade) and Cohen (in kindergarten) I opted for the "Monster Hugs" valentines we still have available on the "Whole Lot of Love" flyer:

Stampin_up_monster_hugs_4

Ava was able to assemble these adorable little "monsters" all by herself, signing the "to: from:" area on the monsters' little bum, removing the protective cover on the adhesive area on the front and adhering the candy, adding the single googlie eye, and then attaching the arms together with the slits just above the monster hands!

Stampin_up_monster_hugs_5

Cohen needed a little bit more help, but he managed signing his name to the backside, adhering the candy, and adding the googlie eye. The googlie eye was his favorite part!

Stampin_up_monster_hugs_3

I brought Nerds, Bottlecaps, and Laffy Taffy for the monsters to "hug"!

Maddie Kate's were pretty simple too. A strip of Fresh Prints Designer Paper punched on both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (my FAVORITE new tool in the Occasions Catalog!), then scored in the middle to create the flat area to attach the candy (chocolate, of course!). We tied to ends together with Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, then added the valentine greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes, cut with a Word Bubble Framelit and mounted on a 1 3/4" Pool Party Scallop Circle. We added just a bit of bling with a Silver Glimmer circle!

Just so you know, I had Jessica take these pictures with her fabulous camera! (I'm still learning how to use mine, but I will get better!)

My hubby came along on this trip, so Jessica fixed us a yummy supper before we headed home. Good times!

That's all for today. You can still order the Monster Hugs (for your little munchkins or grandbabies next year!). Just go to my Online Store by clicking HERE.

Stampin’ Up! Best of Flowers #2!

Stampin’ Up! Best of Flowers #2!

Actually now that I think about it, in reality this is Best of Flowers #3, as I showed you #1 back on March 21 HERE , which makes yesterday's #1 Post actually #2!

Are you as confused as I am?

Anywhoo, here's the next Best of Flowers card we will be making today and tomorrow at my "Best of . . " Class!

Daisy 5
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I REALLY like this one! It's so bright and spring-y!

Daffodil Delight cardstock, Chevron Textured Impressions Folder and Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder, White Heat Embossing, brand-new daisy stamp from Best of Flowers 25th Anniversary stamp set for March, Pursuit of Happiness Stamp Set, Floral District Designer Paper, Whisper White 5/8" Organza Ribbon, and some Rhinestones Basic Jewels to give the card the extra little "bling" it needs!

Daisy 6
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

On the inside the verse from Feel Goods is set off by a strip of Floral District paper which has been run through the Big Shot with the Tasteful Trim Die!

It's just a little hard to tell from the first picture, but the center of each Whisper White-embossed flower has been colored in with a little more Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker.

That's all for now! Must run to put the finishing touches on my class today!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
