Stampin’ Up! Retiring Holiday Catalog!!

Stampin’ Up! Retiring Holiday Catalog!!

Hey there! With the Year End Closeout Sale in full swing, I thought it would be a good idea to share with you some swaps from OnStage using retiring Holiday Catalog products. Even though the Holiday Catalog runs through January 2nd, the retiring items are now while-supplies last!

First, this swap was created with the retiring Bring on the Presents Bundle of stamps and dies to make a cute little treat box!

You can order this bundle in my online store. Click on the pic to go there!

Next,  retiring All Is Bright Designer Series Paper and Making Christmas Bright stamps were used to create this treat packet:

Finally for today, this little Scalloped Tag Topper Punch treat box features the Santa's Workshop  Specialty Designer Series Paper, which is already sold out. However, the Farmhouse Christmas (Happy Christmas Wishes) is NOT sold out and the starry flourish from Star of Light is still found in the Annual Catalog.

I think I have made a similar box in the past, so I'm going to try this one out again!

This color combo of Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, and Garden Green is just so festive!

Stampin’ Up! What’s Carol Been Up To?

Stampin’ Up! What’s Carol Been Up To?

Hey there! What have I been up to? I've been busy busy, but not stamping. I belong to a women's prayer group at church called Ladies Friendship Circle that meets monthly. Earlier this year I volunteered to host the Christmas meeting at my house. Now, I have stampers in for classes every month, and my family is here several times a week, but for a Christmas gathering you kind of need to up your game a little bit, ya know? So every day this week, Monday through Thursday, someone has helped me dress the house for Christmas. Monday it was Maddie Kate & Ava, my two oldest granddaughters. They decorated my tree. Tuesday Alisa hung lights all over my dining room/living room. Wednesday Logan and his best girl, Faith, helped dress the rest of the house with my collection of Christmas decor, and Logan helped Mark put up lights outside. Thursday Mark helped with general cleanup to put the finishing polish to the house. I couldn't have done it all without my sweet family's help! Oh, I think I forgot to mention I babysat Darcy Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with Darcy's first dentist visit on Monday, Tuesday School on Tuesday, and Dance/Tumbling Classes on Wednesday!

Here's my little nest:

Stampin_up_christmas_decor_carolpaynestamps1

I know it's a humble abode, but this is the place where I raised all 6 of my babies and the place where my grandchildren play on cold or rainy days. We gather here almost every Sunday after church for lunch and then relaxing together!

The only other thing I need to tell you today is that the Year End Close Out has begun! Retiring items from the Holiday Catalog, as well as select Annual Catalog products are on sale through January 2nd, but everything is while-supplies-last, so don't wait to place your order! Stampin’ Up! Christmas 3-D Swaps!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas 3-D Swaps!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing Christmas 3-D swaps I received at Orlando Onstage!

Stampin_up_onstage_swaps_carolpaynestamps1

First, Joanne Cantrell created this gorgeousness with a Mini Pizza Box, sponge brayer, and Farmhouse Christmas stamps! The supplies are listed at the end of this post, but I can also tell you she used the Colorful Season Stamp set and the Seasonal Layers Thinlets!

Stampin_up_farmhouse_christmas_carolpaynestaamps1

Joanne commissioned a friend to create scrumptious cookies to include in the box, unfortunately, the cookies turned out to be just a little bit too big, but she gave them to us anyway!

Stampin_up_farmhouse_christmas_carolpaynestamps1

Another one of my Yes Mam! Stampers team, Martha Swift, created this lovely package tag with the Candy Cane Season and Label Me Pretty Stamp sets. She embossed the white background layer with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and heat embossed the images with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder!

Stampin_up_candy_cane_season_carolpaynestamps1

As an extra added touch Martha tied the Scallop Tag Topper-punched tag with 1/4" Copper Trim. This trim is so versatile, it can be pulled apart, creating a much larger embellishment than ever! The gift this is tied to is a pretty red kitchen spatula!

Stampin_up_candy_cane_season_carolpaynestamps2

Finally, my dear friend Linda Hunt created this "Christmas-cracker" type treat holder with Cherry Cobbler card stock and Dashing Along Designer Series Paper. She simply embellished it with a piece of 1/4" Cherry Cobbler Double-Stitched Ribbon!

Stampin_up_dashing_along_box_carolpaynestamps1

I have never made one of these before, but Linda has sent me her directions. I'm excited to give it a try!

Stampin’ Up! Up & Away Banner!

Stampin’ Up! Up & Away Banner!

Hey there! When I posted the "MERRY Christmas"  banner on Saturday, I remembered I had another banner I had not yet shared with you. I created it for my oldest daughter's best friend's baby shower with the Up & Away Thinlets dies and some retired Stampin' Up! Designer Paper. I love that I can go back into my retired stash and find the perfect print for my crafting needs! It was a long banner with the phrase "Adventure Awaits" spelled out with Basic Black letters cut with the Large Letters Framelits.

Stampin_up_lift_me_up_banner_carolpaynestamps1-1

I used the same design for this banner as I did for the "MERRY Christmas" one I shared a few days ago. Each pennant is 3 1/2" x 6", then I hand-cut the banner points with my Paper Snips. I added a 3 3/4" 4" layer of either Mint Macaron, Coastal Cabana, or Blushing Bride to coordinate with the colors of the hot air balloon and to give the pennants some weight so they would hang straight. I folded the top of each pennant over and stapled them so the pennants are adjustable along the hanging string.

Stampin_up_lift_me_up_banner_for_sheila_carolpaynestamps3
This close-up of the balloon is actually from the card I made for the shower to go with her gift, but it's the same as the one I put on the banner.

Stampin_up_beautiful_bouquet_carolpaynestamps2

This banner was fun to make! I was reminded to post this because the baby was born Saturday evening and I received a picture on my phone yesterday morning! Mommy & baby are doing great!

Here's the link to the Christmas banner I posted a couple of days ago: https://www.carolpaynestamps.com/2018/12/stampin-up-winter-woods.html

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Merry Banner!

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Merry Banner!

Hey there! Today I'm at a Holiday Craft Fair at the Mt Vernon City Park. If you're in the area, come by and see me! With over 40 local crafters, you're sure to find something you like!

Here's the banner I made for my display!

Stampin_up_winter_woods_banner_carolpaynestamps1

I used Dashing Along Designer Series Paper for the banner pennants. Each one is 6" x 3 1/2". You can only find this paper when you search (or click on the image in the supply list below) in my online store.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps2

I backed each pennant with a 3 3/4" x 4" Mossy Meadow layer, adhered about 3/4" from the top the banner before I folded down about 3/8" to secure the cording hanger. I stamped the evergreen from Winter Woods with Mossy Meadow ink on Whisper White, then cut with the coordinating In the Woods Framelit.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps3

Each Basic Black Large Letters letter is glued to a Whisper White mat cut with a Stitched Labels Framelit.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps4

I added trees cut with a Sweetly Stitched Framelit, and a Silver Glimmer snowflake cut with the Blizzard Thinlit.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps5

Each snowflake is different!

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps6

I love it!

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps7

I completed the banner with a Basic Black "Christmas" cut with a Merry Christmas Thinlit die.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps8

The banner is fully adjustable to however long or short you want it to be. I used 15 ft of silver cording in the fold at the top. I folded down the designer paper and then stapled it  so the banner pieces will slide along the cord.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps9

Inspiration seems to always strike best at the last minute, so I only had time to make one! I'm planning to take orders if anyone wants one!
