Stampin’ Up! Gnome for the Holidays is Retiring and Free Shipping Extended Through Saturday December 12th!

Hey there! The Year-End Closeout and Clearance Rack Refresh, coupled with my Free Shipping offer, has been going so well I've decided to extend the free shipping through Saturday to give you all a few more days to send me your order!

Today I want to share with you a few projects I've created and shared in the past few months with the Gnome For The Holidays stamp set, starting with this Merry Christmas banner I shared HERE.

Earlier I used this same little guy as the focal point of the Christmas card I shared HERE.

I paired this guy with Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, which is also on the Retiring/Year-End Closeout List. I used the Tailored Tag Punch, which is from the Annual Catalog, to punch him out and to create the mat layers.

Finally, I created a more traditional Gnome For The Holidays Christmas card with another print from Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer paper and a print from In Good Taste Designer found in the Annual Catalog. I cut out the focal image with a Celebration Labels Die, which is also on the Retiring/Year-End Closeout List and are discounted 50%! Get all of the details for this card HERE.

Stampin’ Up! Gnome For The Holidays Banner!

Stampin’ Up! Gnome For The Holidays Banner!

Hey there! Over the long Thanksgiving weekend I helped my daughter create 9 banners for her co-worker gifts. We used the trendy Gnome for the Holidays!

Stampin_up_gnome_for_the_holidays_banner_carolpaynestamps1

It's hard to see how cute this banner really is. My little point-and-shoot isn't up to this task!

I used Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White for my color scheme, which was the perfect background for the snowflakes, letters, and gnomes! I spelled out "M E R R Y"  using a retired set of Stampin' Up! dies I will never get rid of, then used the Playful Alphabet to add "CHRISTMAS". In between each of the "M E R R Y" letters I added a banner with just snowflakes and the small Playful Alphabet letters to spell "CHRISTMAS".  All of the banners are stapled over the twine so they can be slid back and forth to get the spacing correct depending on where you hang it.

I added adhesive with Adhesive Sheets before cutting out the snowflakes. This made assembly MUCH EASIER than trying to use liquid glue!

The gnomes (we made one banner with the Way To Goat stamp set but I forgot to take a picture before she took it away) were stamped with Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends. I colored around each gnome with a Light Seaside Spray Stampin' Blend so I could easily cut around them.

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Merry Banner!

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Merry Banner!

Hey there! Today I'm at a Holiday Craft Fair at the Mt Vernon City Park. If you're in the area, come by and see me! With over 40 local crafters, you're sure to find something you like!

Here's the banner I made for my display!

Stampin_up_winter_woods_banner_carolpaynestamps1

I used Dashing Along Designer Series Paper for the banner pennants. Each one is 6" x 3 1/2". You can only find this paper when you search (or click on the image in the supply list below) in my online store.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps2

I backed each pennant with a 3 3/4" x 4" Mossy Meadow layer, adhered about 3/4" from the top the banner before I folded down about 3/8" to secure the cording hanger. I stamped the evergreen from Winter Woods with Mossy Meadow ink on Whisper White, then cut with the coordinating In the Woods Framelit.

Each Basic Black Large Letters letter is glued to a Whisper White mat cut with a Stitched Labels Framelit.

I added trees cut with a Sweetly Stitched Framelit, and a Silver Glimmer snowflake cut with the Blizzard Thinlit.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps5

Each snowflake is different!

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps6

I love it!

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps7

I completed the banner with a Basic Black "Christmas" cut with a Merry Christmas Thinlit die.

The banner is fully adjustable to however long or short you want it to be. I used 15 ft of silver cording in the fold at the top. I folded down the designer paper and then stapled it  so the banner pieces will slide along the cord.

Inspiration seems to always strike best at the last minute, so I only had time to make one! I'm planning to take orders if anyone wants one!
