Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Faux Linen!

Hey there! My Artistically Inked card for today features the "Faux Linen" technique! I highlighted Fresh Freesia and Pear Pizzazz for a fresh, spring look!

The faux linen technique is super simple! Stamp the images on a piece of white tissue paper, cut at about 6" x 6" or larger, with regular Stampin' Up Classic ink. Crumple the tissue into a wad, semi-smooth it back out, then adhere to a Basic White layer with liquid glue, leaving some of the wrinkles in the tissue and wrapping the paper around to the back and adhering with more glue or Stampin' Seal.

I cut the greeting and the Pear Pizzazz mat with the same Tasteful Labels Die. I also added an Opal Round for a bit of shine.

Inside I used a Tasteful Touches sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day May 23rd, Pansy Patch!

Hey there! Today I have a set of swap cards to share with you all created with the Pansy Petals Suite! yay!

First a fun fold created by Jan Farring with the Pansy Patch Bundle of stamps and dies and the Pansy Petals Designer Paper:

You will see this Pansy Patch sentiment a lot today!

Next, Jenna Roby combined Pansy Patch with Stitched With Whimsy Dies:

She combined two Pansy Patch sentiments inside. (both the outside and inside layers are Mango Melody, not two different yellows)

Karen Kurz stamped her own background paper with the Pansy Patch stamps for her card!

She even added a strip of it to the inside!

Shelly Gruber accented the Calypso Coral colors from the Pansy Petals Designer Paper for her card:

I told ya you would see this sentiment a lot! I also love the mixed fonts of these sentiments, they are so pretty!

Emily Tull featured Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder:

Stampin’ Up! Corner Garden Meets Build A Bouquet!

Hey there! I'm going shopping with two of my girls and the babies today, so I don't have a lot of time to gab, but I do have a card to share!

For my card today I CASED myself with the card I posted HERE. I adapted that card for my monthly swap because I needed a a quicker version, so instead of using the magic re-inker technique I stamped over the embossed Corner Garden image with stamps from the Build a Bouquet set:

I used Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Pear Pizzazz to stamp the images directly over the white heat-embossed Corner Garden.

I used a tissue to blot the excess ink instead of rubbing. The color wanted to smear when I rubbed.

The Memento Tuxedo Black stamped "oh, happy day" is also from the Build a Bouquet set:

That's all I have time for today! I can't want to spend the day with Kimberly, Darcy, Alisa, and Lando!

Stampin’Up! Crazy About You!

Hey there! I'm just hanging out with Oakley this morning! He is a fun little guy!

I've been prepping the project packets for my online class in little bits of time I've managed to carve out in between Lando and Oakly time.

Here are the Make n' Takes from Founder's Circle year. We were given the Crazy About You set and the coordinating Hello You Thinlet Dies to make these cute little tags and cards with Flowerpot Designer Paper:

We embellished a Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bag with a Tea Lace Doily, Flower Pot DSP, "hello" from the Hello You Thinlets, a phrase from Crazy About You, and a Clothespin we covered with a bit of Flowerpot paper:

After cutting out the "thanks" with the Hello You Thinlet die, we colored a background of Whisper White with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie Blendabilites, then used the "negative space" cut out by the die to let the colors show through:
