Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Imbedded Embossing!

Hey there! Today I have my 16th and final post featuring the Artistically Inked Bundle. After today I will be playing with other stamps, dies, papers, etc., that I have recently ordered from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog!

My card today features Pale Papaya and Polished Pink with the Imbedded Embossing technique:

I stamped the large bloom with Pale Papaya ink on Pale Papaya card stock, adding Polished Pink ink over the Pale Papaya ink on the stamp using a Sponge Dauber BEFORE stamping on the card stock. I cut out the large bloom and the smaller ones stamped with Polished Pink on Pale Papaya with Artistic Dies.

Here's an up-close of the Imbedded Embossing. After cutting the intricate Pale Papaya blooms with an Adhesive Sheet on the back using the Artistic Die, I adhered to the Pale Papaya layer using the adhesive sheet. I then ran the entire layer through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. I then lightly added Polished Pink ink with a Blending Brush.

The Polished Pink 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon perfectly compliments the card, as does the Champagne Rhinestones I used for the flower centers. The greeting is from Tasteful Touches.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Happiest of Birthdays!

Hey there! I have another Artistically Inked birthday card to share with you today. I combined this bundle with the Happiest of Birthdays set to create this:

I love this big bold greeting from Happiest of Birthdays! I stamped it with Blackberry Bliss ink, then added Fresh Freesia blooms all around with Soft Succulent leaves.

The leaves from the Artistic Dies is so gorgeous! I cut it with Gold Foil, then bent the stems a little extra to fit the 4" width of the card front. I put an Adhesive Sheet on the back of the Gold Foil before running it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss to make adhering the leaves to the card a snap!

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Tasteful Touches and a few more Fresh Freesia/Soft Succulent blooms. I used a paper saving trick before adhering the gold foil mat to the stamped layer.

I used a Rectangle Stitched Die to cut out the center of the gold layer. I used the frame behind the inside layer and kept the solid rectangle for a later project!

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Faux Linen!

Hey there! My Artistically Inked card for today features the "Faux Linen" technique! I highlighted Fresh Freesia and Pear Pizzazz for a fresh, spring look!

The faux linen technique is super simple! Stamp the images on a piece of white tissue paper, cut at about 6" x 6" or larger, with regular Stampin' Up Classic ink. Crumple the tissue into a wad, semi-smooth it back out, then adhere to a Basic White layer with liquid glue, leaving some of the wrinkles in the tissue and wrapping the paper around to the back and adhering with more glue or Stampin' Seal.

I cut the greeting and the Pear Pizzazz mat with the same Tasteful Labels Die. I also added an Opal Round for a bit of shine.

Inside I used a Tasteful Touches sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Just Saying Hello!

Hey there! Today I have another fall-themed card with Gilded Autumn Specialty Paper! I'm so sorry Gilded Autumn is un-orderable right now!

I combined two Annual Catalog sets, Nature's Beauty (deer) and Tasteful Touches (greeting). After stamping the greeting with Early Espresso ink I stamped the deer with stamped-off-once Crumb Cake. I cut it and its' Cajun Craze mat with a Tasteful Labels Die.

I adhered the matted greeting on a layer of Gilded Autumn Specialty strips that I embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder and then sponged with Crumb Cake ink. I wrapped a piece of Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim around the layer, securing on the back side with tape. I thought about adding a bow but decided this card didn't need one. I finished it all off with a Gilded Gem to coordinate with the gold and copper foil on one of the Gilded Autumn Specialty strips.

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Pallet Thoughts with Early Espresso ink, then another stamped-off-Crumb Cake deer and a leaf spray from Tasteful Touches in stamped-off Cajun Craze.

Cajun Craze card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2" greeting mat: 4" x 3" inside mat: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Early Espresso layer: 4" x 5 1/4" -need two

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Catalog CASE!

Hey there! Today I have another Tasteful Touches card to share. This one is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) of a Tasteful Touches card found on page 122 of the New Annual Catalog.

Of course, I put my own spin on it with less of the designer paper in the background, sponging the blooms and the edges of the greeting piece with Early Espresso ink, and stamping the bloom in stamped-off Early Espresso behind the greeting.

I really like the In Good Taste Elements I used on this card!

Both of these real wood elements, as well as a few more designs, are included in the pack!

I used two coordinating phrases from Many Mates on the inside. Here's a tip when you are stamping two separate phrases, turn one at an angle and you won't have to worry about them being straight with each other!
